2: The Aryans set up most of how Ancient India worked. They introduced the caste system, Vedas (earliest literature), and believed in Hinduism. | Government

3: Mohenjo daro and Harapa were the two first cities in Ancient India. Early settlers established these civilizations along the Indus River. They are known as "lost cities" because they were discovered many years later. | Cities

4: Many public work systems include roads, dams, and palaces. The Kallanai Dam is a good source of irrigation. | Public Works

5: Buddhism is the way of life that shows that the path to enlightenment is between pleasure and pain. the way to achieve Nirvana is to follow the Eightfold Path and believe in the Four Noble Truths. | Hinduism is considered a way of life with many beliefs and "rules" as to how to reach Moksha. Samsara: reincarnation-cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, Moksha: "union with Brahman" heaven, Dharma: fulfilling your duties and responsibilities in this life, Karma: is what you carry into your next life | Religion

6: The style of writing used during Ancient India was Sanskrit. This was one of the first languages they taught. Generally, priests and nobles would write in Sanskrit. | Writing

7: The Taj Mahal is one of the largest tourist attractions in India. Sculptures, temples, and other forms of art were popular as well. | Art and Architecture

8: The Aryans brought the Caste System to India. once you are born into your social rank, it is almost impossible to change to another one. you were to live and associate with your own caste. | Social Ranking

9: Your social class generally determines your job in ancient India. The highest level is priests, then warriors and rulers, then skilled traders, merchants, and artisans, fourth is the unskilled workers, and last are the untouchables which are the worst jobs. | Job Specialization

12: New Delhi is India's modern capital and is one of the fastest growing cities. this city is very popular for tourists as well. Nepal is a city with many collisions with the Himalayas. it combines the practices of Buddhism and Hinduism. Buddha was born in Nepal. | Cities

13: India is a democratic republic country. It is divided into two houses and has a Prime Minister as a leader. The President is in charge of ceremonial duties. The voting age is 18 years old. | Government

14: There is a variety of diverse religions in India that seem to coexist. The largest is Hinduism, although technically it's not a religion, but yet a way of life. Brahmanism shaped many religious traditions. | Religion

15: Compared to Ancient India, modern India has many more technological attributes to public works. Schools, hospitals, jails, roadways, subways, etc. are some examples. | Public Works

16: The art form in modern India vary from musical to theatrical. It can be expressed through literature, singing, dancing, painting, and much more. | Art and Architecture

17: The most common form of writing in India is Hindi, although there is a plethora of other languages spoken. This language is used in writing, within businesses and schools, and even nationwide. | Writing

18: Although the social ranking isn't the same, jobs still adhere to their class. The higher classes are seen as doctors, lawyers, and engineers, while the lower classes are still working with degrading jobs. | Job Specialization

19: Unlike Ancient India, the Caste System isn't as strict. One social class is allowed to socialize with another. The categories of ranking changed to high castes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backwards Castes. Discrimination of a caste is forbidden. | Social Ranking
