1: Childhood Mark Twain was born on November 30th, 1835 in Florida, Missouri. He was the son of John Marshall and Jane Lampton Clemens. He had moved twice once to Hannibal Missouri, and then to what’s known as the Mark Twain Boyhood Home. He moved again to Dr. Grants store, but sonly moved back after Judge Clemens. He had always loved making scrapbooks and often carried them around wherever he went.

2: Career and Accomplishments He was a boat pilot in a river. He started his career in April 1857, and ended his career when war broke out in May of 1861. When he began writing he changed his name to Mark Twain as a pen name, but his real name was Samuel Clemens.

3: Family He was one of seven children. for your He was one of seven children. His brothers and sisters names were Orion, Pamela, Pleasants Hannibal (died during infancy), Margaret, Benjamin, and Henry. He married Olivia Langdon in 1870. They had four children: Langdon (died in infancy), Susan, Clara, and Jean.

4: Death and After he died He died on April 21st, 1910 in Redding, Connecticut. He was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Elmira, New York. In his whole life, he wrote a total of 28 book releases.
