1: Mikey is the goalie and needs to head the soccer ball to a fellow team mate as high as he can. He is 5.6 feet tall and his upward velocity is 40 feet per second. How long will it take the ball to reach its maximum height?

4: When you solved the equation you got two solutions, 2.63 and -.13. However, only one of them is correct. 2.63 is your final answer because -.13 is negative and it is impossible to have time that is negative. So, obviously we chose the positive solution for our final answer.
6: According to our graph we got 1. 32 as our final solution.
7: Because of algebra we were able to figure out that it will take 1.32 seconds for Mikey's soccer ball to reach it's maximum height.
