S: challenges & changes
FC: TONY MATAR
My name is Tony Matar and i was born on the 18th of May 1998. MY FAVOURITE COLOUR IS YELLOW, i love playing soccer & my favourite subject is maths. i was born in Australia but i have been to Canada, Lebanon & Queensland.
i have 2 siblings (1 brother, 1 sister). whenever i feel sad or down i talk to my brother and when he doesn't understand something he says something really funny. i am a maronite but i go to a maronite catholic school.
some positive and negative challenges are starting high school, losing my friends, knowing each teachers expectations, being organised and going to my locker.
i can deal with these challenges by asking people to help me know more about the school, make more friends, try to know each teacher more and try to not go to my locker as much as i can.
five coping strategies i would give a year 6 student are always be organised, be neat and tidy, try not to be confused on going to different classes and different teachers, if you need help with something ask the teacher, try as much as you can not to go to your locker.
if you need help you can ask your homeroom teacher, mr Rodriguez, a different teacher, a friend or one of the year 7 students.
2 short term goals i would like to achieve before term 1 are to get better in English and to get more organised.
2 long term goals i would like to achieve are to learn more about some countries and learn more about famous people.
one change i expect to deal with in the next 5 years is to be faced with bigger challenges.
three examples are choosing the right subjects for the hsc, choosing the right job and choosing the right future.
