BC: The End

FC: 206 West Trinity Victoria, Texas 77901 | Our First Home

 Built: 1939 Updated: 1960's Remodeled: 2004-2010

Living Room - The front door used to be on the far right front of the house. There also used to be an entrance to the kitchen from the living room hallway. There was a built in bookshelf on the wall you see when you first walk in. | BEFORE

Dining Room - BEFORE The dining room was originally a bedroom.

Hall bathroom - The claw foot tub is original. It was refinished by Texas Bathtub Refinisher's in San Antonio. There was a window in the bathroom going out onto what used to be a porch (now part of the kitchen). The floor had a layer of carpet and several layers of linoleum. We never really used the bathtub in this bathroom, you could see the front door from the tub, and it was too splashy for Dean! | BEFORE

The kitchen had a half wall separating it into two rooms, a porch walled off from the rest of the room, and a laundry lean-to off the back. The kitchen was in really bad shape. Stanlay and I worked hard and for a couple of years, mostly got only demolition done. Bo Knows Remodeling stepped in, pulled off the entire back wall of the house and rebuilt the beautiful kitchen you see today! | KITCHEN - BEFORE

We used our bedroom and bathroom as the kitchen for a while during the remodel - hot plate, fridge in the corner, pantry by the bed! Then, we built the bar in the dining room and moved kitchen headquarters into there.

A hungry pregnant mama waits for the refrigerator, a soon to be daddy washes dishes for the first time in his new sink. Almost there! | KITCHEN - GETTING THERE!

We liked tis big old brand new kitchen. It had lots of drawer and cabinet space. I found out I,m not a big fan of light tile, black countertops, or granite. What a learning experience this was. | AFTER

 Breakfast Room B | BreakB | B | Breakfast Nook

 K | Kitchen

The master suite is large and lovely.

Here is what it looked like when we used it as a kitchen/dining room/bedroom!

The complete and decorated master bathroom. Ahhh!

 Master Bathroom

Middle Room - BEFORE. Paneling, orange shag carpet, and horse wallpaper underneath! It was such a mess when we moved in.

 Middle Room - AFTER

This room had paneling with checkered wallpaper underneath, orange carpet, and layers and layers of sticky linoleum! It also had a closet where the right closet is and where the bookshelf is. | Back Room - BEFORE

This was my favorite room - it became Dean's nursery. We decorated it with forest animals. I liked that it was right off the kitchen, so when I cooked he was right there. It had lots of windows and was bright and sunny, and COLD in the winter! | Dean's Nursery

 Exterior - BEFORE

All things grow better with love.

Favorite Memories at 206 W. Trinity This was our first home together. We brought our first baby home and celebrated his first birthday there. We had many a family gathering for Christmas, backyard BBQ's and for no reason at all. We will always remember what it was like to live there during a remodel, and how proud we were when it was finished. Off to another chapter!
