 Exponential & Logarithmic Functions | Exponential: f(x)=a^x Logarithmic: f(x)=log_a x

Properties of Logarithms | When the bases are the same, work with the exponents . | 3^2x+3, 3^ 3x+4

When the bases are different, bring log into problem . | 2^3x, 8^4x

 Decay & Half Life | kT=ln2, k=ln2/T, T=ln2/k

 Growth Rate & Doubling Time | kT=ln2, k=ln2/T, T=ln2/k

Six trigonometric functions | soh, cah, toa !

All angles in a triangle equals 180 degrees.

 Solving right triangles | Pythagorean theorem | a^2 +b^2=c^2

Trigonometric Functions of Angles | *Sin = y/r *Cos=x/r *Tan=y/x This is used for triangles on the unit circle.

Angle- the union of two rays with common endpoints Positive rotation- rotating counterclockwise Negative rotation- rotating clockwise | Angle Complement & Supplement | Complement: 90- degree Supplement: 180 -degree Coterminal angle-- found by adding and subtracting multiples of 360

Reference Angles | Reference angles are angles that in Quad. 2 or 3 subtract 180 from the degrees. Example :215-180=35 Example: 360-330= 30 which is the reference angle

Law of Sine Law of Cosine | Law of Sin: a/sinA=b/sinB=c/sinC Law of Cosine: a^2=b^2+c^2 -2bc* cosA b^2=a^2+c^2-2ac*cosB c^2=a^2+b^2-2ab*cosC
