BC: "Don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

The title of this novel is Gulliver's Travels. This novel has four chapters. They are Lilliput, Brobdingnag, Laputa, Glubbdubdrib, Luggnagg and The country of the Houyhnhnms.

The author of this novel is Jonathan Swift, he was born in 1667 in Dublin, Ireland. This novel was written around 1720 and was published in 1726.

The character that I dislike is Foley Nigeria's Lipper. Because he always say a lot of flatteries to the king, but look down on the civilian. | I like the main character Gulliver most in this novel. Because I consider he is a brave, smart and helpful person. And he loves the truth.

This novel mainly talks about fours experiences in Gulliver's travel. Firstly, Gulliver went to Lilliput, actually the Lilliput is the epitome of United Kingdom. It reflects the war in the country and the war between United Kingdom and other country, and this also reflects the intrigue between politicians. Secondly, Gulliver went to Brobdingnag. The king of Brobdingnag, attacked a lot of policies that use in United Kingdom. Thirdly, the novel illustrates Gulliver's travel in Laputa, Glubbdubdrib and Luggnagg. According to this trip, it reflects the gentlefolk who are absurd and stupid in United Kingdom. Finally, this novel talks about Gulliver's trip in Houyhnhnms. the author mainly wants the reader to know the essence of war, the hypocritical laws and the political darkness.

alternative Ending On Gulliver's first trip, Gulliver went to Lilliput. He helped this country to do a lot of things, at last he asked the king to help him to come back to his home. I think if Gulliver stays in Lilliput will be more interesting. Because Gulliver is a huge man in Lilliput, he did a lot of things for that country and got a lot of respects. If Gulliver didn't go back to home, Gulliver can be the leader in Lilliput. He can make the country bigger and stronger, and communicate with other countries to build a good relationship. No war anymore and no violence anymore, the people can have a peace and great life.
