1: Why did the U.S get involved? The U.S got involved because we told Japan to get out of China but they stayed in China which made us stop giving oil to Japan. | When did the U.S get involved? September 1,1939 - December 8, 1941
2: How did the war start? (Prior to the U.S involvement) German soldiers swept over Poland. Germans refused to back off Poland with a unprovoked attach. | Which countries were involved? Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Soviet Union, United States, and China.
3: The most common weaponry of WW2 were rifles, Submachine guns, machine guns, grenades, mortars, sniper rifle, and combat knives.
4: Rosie is an American icon. Rosie were women who worked in factories, they replaced men who went to war. Many of the women worked in manufacturing plants that produced munitions and war supplies. This inspired women to work in America to 20 million by 1944, a 57% increase from 1940. | Rosie The Riveter
5: Massive war spending doubled economic growth rates. By either masking the effects of the Depression or essentially ending the Depression. This brought the unemployment rate down below 10%. When men left to fight, a lot of women started to work. This increased work which increased money to be brought to the table which helped to end the Depression.
