4: Julie decided last minute to apply for the Asian Studies Masters program at the University of Utah. She had to take the GRE at 7am with no preparation. Can you see her happiness?

20: Welcome Mom Brenning to Utah! | We decorated Mom's new apartment in Orem. She moved into Aunt Shannon's basement from New Mexico. We are so happy to have her in Utah!

30: Kurt celebrated his 23rd Bday! He got handmade Dominion cards and a Carcassonne boardgame! | Katherin Elva | Happy Birthday Kurt! Happy Graduation Julie!
31: Julie graduated from BYU, class of 2011. We celebrated with chocolate fondu fountain and pin the tail on the BYU cougar. Jordan, Kelly, Ian and Amy and Steve and Amy and Shan came to our double party! | BYU
32: K | & | J | We celebrated our 1st Year Anniversary in Heber City, Utah
33: We stayed in a fun hotel. We swam, played Dominion, & cooked meals. Kurt even brought our memory foam mattress so I could sleep well!
34: We took a ride on the Heber Creeper on ourAnniversary trip. We went through Provo Canyon! | The views were breathtaking. | H E B E R
35: A "bandit" boarded the train and picked me as his victim! I was held at gunpoint. | C R E E P E R
36: We went on a hike around Heber city area. We saw large birds nests, rivers, animal bones, and lakes. | Kurt's parents bought us an Anniversary experience gift - a presentation of the Sound of Music at Sundance! It was one of our favorite musicals we have seen.
38: Happy 25th Birthday Julie! Mom took us out to our favorite Chinese restaurant in Provo. Yum!
39: For my Birthday, I went on a blind-folded progressive dinner! We ate our first course at our house, second course at Grandma and Grandpa's house, third course and Jaren and Melinda's and fourth course and Jordan and Kelly's! | Progressive | Dinner
40: Welcome to the Purple Portal Apartment! | We ran out of money so we moved to a small loft apartment by the Provo library. It was a very unique place that Julie wishes would be bull-dozed. In the bathroom there was a purple ladder to the loft (where we slept), in the kitchen one wall was painted like a zebra and the place was so old, electrical cords ran all over the walls.
41: We celebrated Christmas day at Jaren and Melinda's house. It was fun to see their kids open presents! Mom and Dad were also visiting. We got one of your favorite games - Dominion!
