How We Met | Dustin & Ashley met in high school, during Dustin's junior year. They instantly became great friends and hung out together often. Throughout their years in high school together they grew closer and closer. They hung out together with all of our friends, going to the movies, dinner, county & state fairs, concerts, etc. On July 29, 2003, right before Dustin left Ashley's house for the evening, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Ashley didn't think twice before saying "yes!"
Ashley & Dustin dated until New Year's Eve 2006, when Dustin asked Ashley to be his wife.. They had been to dinner at Rio Grande Mexican restaurant with all of Ashley's family. After dinner, they took off on their own. Dustin presented Ashley with two dozen red roses, a beautiful 1/2 ct, Princess cut diamond ring and a t-shirt for her to wear that read "Bride-to-Be". It was so sweet & very romantic! Official Engagement Picture By: Mike Hall
Wedding Day | Dustin & Ashley were united in marriage at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Sissonville on July 26, 2008 at 5:30 pm by Pastor Don Clark. | July 26, 2008

How We Found Out | On Tuesday, September 13, 2011, Ashley wasn't feeling very well, she also realized that "Cousin Flo" was a few days late. On her way home from work, she decided to stop in Walgreens and pick up a home pregnancy test. Since she had taken many of these before with the hope of being pregnant, yet never was, she was not getting her hopes up this time... After having dinner with her mom, Angie, Jaydan & Braylee at McDonalds, Ashley came home and took the pregnancy test. Imagine her surprise and excitement when the test read "Pregnant"!!!! Ashley was so excited she danced & jumped around the house, waiting on Dustin to get home from work, so she could share the great news!!!! Dustin was just as surprised and excited as Ashley was!!!! They decided to keep the news a secret until after the weekend, because they did not want to announce it during Jason & Adrienne's wedding weekend, and take attention away from them. IT WAS SO HARD KEEPING THIS SECRET!!!

How We Found Out | Conception: If a sperm cell meets and penetrates an egg, it will fertilize it. This is known as conception. At this moment, the genetic makeup is complete, including the sex of the infant. Within about three days after conception, the fertilized egg, which is dividing rapidly into many cells, passes through the fallopian tube into the uterus, where it attaches to the uterine wall. The placenta, which will nourish the baby, also begins to form.
First Month Approximately 1-4 weeks. The implanted cluster of cells is now called an embryo and is smaller than a grain of rice. The implanted embryo has started to produce hormones that may register on a home pregnancy test, yielding a positive result. | 4 weeks | 1 month

8 Months | Eighth Month Approximately 32-35 weeks. Your baby continues to grow rapidly and put on weight. He/she is about 17 inches long and now weighs almost 4 pounds. The baby's skeletal muscles are growing stronger and the bones are hardening even more. As circulation continues to improve and the body gains more fat, he/she can regulate body temperature better and may start to shed the fine layer of hair called lanugo. 38: 9 Months | Ninth Month Approximately 36-40 weeks. Baby is now about the size of a bowling ball and weighs approximately 6 pounds. Fetal kicks may actually feel like a sliding motion now as your baby begins to run out of room. The baby's bones have been storing calcium and have become stronger, but they are still somewhat pliable. The flexibility helps the baby accommodate the limited diameter of the birth canal without injury. The bones on the top of your baby's head have not fully fused. This allows for some flexibility and give when your baby moves through the birth canal.
