1: This Cookbook is inspired by all of the talented cooks in the family.
2: Mom | Carmel Apple Dip | 1 8oz cream cheese 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup nuts (I used chopped peanuts) Blend all ingredients together. Slice apples and dip into mixture.
3: Frosted Pecans 2 teaspoons cold water 2 egg whites 1 lb large pecan halves 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp salt In a small mixing bowl combine sugar, cinnamon and salt and set aside. In a large bowl beat egg whites and water till frothy. Stir in nuts and cover well. Stir sugar mixture and cover well. Spread on greased cookie sheet and bake at 225 degrees for an hour. Stir nuts every 15 minutes.
4: Veggie Pizza 2 cans crescent rolls -bake at 350 degrees ---cool Combine: 2 8oz pkg cream cheese 3/4 cup Miracle Whip 1 tsp dill weed 1 Tb minced onion Spread on cooled crust. Sprinkle with 4 cups vegetables. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of veggies. | More of Mom's Recipes
5: Bruschetta 1 loaf French bread 1 cup KRAFT Italian dressing 1/2 cup KRAFT 100% grated Parmesan cheese 2 large tomatoes, chopped and drained 2 green onions, chopped Place bread slices on cookie sheet. Broil 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Mix dressing and cheese. Reserve 1/4 cup dressing mixture. Spread 1 side of toasted bread with remaining dressing mixture. Broil 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Toss tomatoes and onions with reserved 1/4 cup dressing mix. | One of Laura's favorite!
6: Chocolate Éclair Torte 2 sm pkgs French vanilla pudding- instant 1 8 oz cool whip Mix 2 cups 1/2 and 1/2 and 1 cup milk with pudding. Fold in Cool whip. In 9x13 cake pan-layer graham crackers and pudding. End with graham crackers on top. Top with melted chocolate frosting. | Great Grandma Curtis Favorite Recipes
7: Great-Grandma Curtis' Favorite's | Cherry Dessert 2 1/2 cup Vanilla Wafer Crumbs Put half on the bottom of 9x13 pan. The other half add: Cream 1 stick of butter 2 eggs (beaten first) 1 1/2 cups powder sugar. Spread over wafer crumbs Spread 2 cans cherry pie filling Cover with 2 pkg dream whip or s cool whip. Sprinkle wafer crumbs to garnish. Refrigerate overnight-cut in squares
8: "There is no love sincerer than the love of food." ~George Bernard Shaw | Banana Bread | Grandma DeArvil | 1/2 cup butter 1 cup sugar 2 beaten eggs 3 med. bananas, mashed 2 cups flour 1 half tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 cup nuts. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs then bananas. Stir in flour, salt and soda. | 375 | 15 min | then 350 for 45 minutes
9: 1 step Cinnamon Coffee Cake 2 cups Flour 1 cup sugar 1 tsp soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 fourth cup butter 1 cup sour cream 1 fourth cup cold water 1 tsp vanilla Streusel: 1 third cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon. nuts optional. Dump all ingredients together, mix until smooth. Put half batter in 9x13 pan, sprinkle with half the streusel mix. Spoon rest of the batter on top and carefully spread around. Put rest of streusel onop Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. | Grandma always said this was the easiest coffee cake to make because you just "dump" everything together!
10: Texas Caviar 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup olive oil 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper Bring vinegar and sugar to a boil until sugar dissolves. let cool. Pour over the beans and veggies listed below. Add oil, salt & pepper. Mix thoroughly. Best if refrigerated overnight. 1 can black beans-rinsed 1 can pinto beans-rinsed 1 can seet corn-rinsed 1 fresh jalapeno pepper 1 cup chopped celery, onoin, green pepper, red pepper and orange pepper. 11: Large tub sour cream (16oz/2cups) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 2 pkgs. Oscar Mayer Bacon Bits 1/4 cup chopped onion Parsley Flakes Mayonaise Mix first 5 ingredients together, then add enough mayo till it is the right consistency for dipping | Baked Potato Dip
12: Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies 1 c. margarine, softened at room temp. for about 30 minutes 3/4 c packed brown sugar 1/4 c. sugar 1 sm pkg instant vanilla pudding 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp baking soda 2 c. chocolate chips Cream margarine, sugars, and pudding mix. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition Beat in vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips (dough will be stiff). Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

14: Aunt Joann | Summer Berry Pie | 1 1/2 cup sugar 6 T. cornstarch 3 c. cold water 2 sm. boxes raspberry or strawberry Jello 2 c. fresh blueberries 2 c. sliced strawberries 2 c. fresh raspberries 2 graham cracker crusts 4 c. whipped topping In a large saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and water until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in Jello until dissolved. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Stir in berries. pour into the 2 graham cracker crusts and chill until thicken. Top with whipped toping | Sweeten Whipped Cream 1 c. heavy whipping cream 3 T. powdered sugar 1/2 t. vanilla extract In a chilled bowl and using chilled beaters, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form. Yields 2 cups
15: Cheeseburger Soup 1 lb ground chuck 1/4 c. flour 3/4 c. chopped onion 8 oz. flour 3/4 c. diced celery 1 1/2 c. milk 3/4 c. shredded carrots 3/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dried basil 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. dried parsley 1/4 c. sour cream 4 T. margarine, divided 3 c. chicken broth 4 c. potatoes, peeled and diced Brown ground chuck and drain, set aside. In same saucepan, saute onion, celery, carrots, basil, and parsley in 1 T. butter for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add broth, potatoes and ground chuck. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until potatoes are tender. In a samll skillet melt remaining 3 T. of butter, add flour and cook until bubbly. Add to souop mixture and bring to a boil. Stir constantly for 2 minutes. Reduce heat and add cheese, milk, salt and pepper. Cook until cheese melts. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream
16: Chocolate Pie | 1 sm box chocolate pudding 2/3 c. milk 1 12 c. vanilla ice cream, softened graham cracker crust Beat for 5 min. the pudding and milk. Fold in ice cream and pour into crust. Refrigerate 30 min. Top with cool whip and chocolate shavings | G.G. | G.G. would make this pie for dessert whenever we would call her and ask her out for dinner. Once she used regular pudding instead of instant. We all laughed as we ate our pie with spoons.

When cooking, go by your own taste." ~Laiko Bahrs | Peanut Butter Topping | Aunt Marcy | 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup corn syrup 1 Tablespoon butter, melted 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter Place brown sugar, milk, corn syrup and butter in a heavy saucepan. Heat on medium setting until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until melted and smooth. Pour over brownies ala mode while warm. | From Aunt Marcy's Kitchen
18: Punch Bowl Cake 12 oz. Cool Whip 16 oz sour cream 5 oz evaporated milk 3/4 c powdered sugar angle food cake, broken into pieces 1 qt. strawberries, sliced 1 or 2 containers strawberry glaze Mix first 4 ingredients. Add cake pieces. Combine berries and glaze. Pour 1/2 the cake mixture into large glass bowl. Top with 1/2 the berry mixture, then remaining cake mixture. Finish with remaining berries and glaze. | 12 slices day-old white bread, crusts removed 2 pkgs cream cheese (8 oz each) 1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries 12 eggs 2 c. milk 1/3 c. maple syrup or honey Sauce 1c. sugar 2 T. cornstarch 1 c. water 1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries 1 T. butter | Aunt Joann | Blueberry French Toast | Cut bread into 1" cubes and place half in a greased 9x13 baking dish. cut cream cheese into 1" cubes and place over bread. top with blueberries and remaining bread cubes. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add milk and syrup mixing well. Pour over bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or over night. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes. uncover and bake 25-30 minutes monger or until golden brown and center is set. To prepare sauce, combine sugar, cornstarch and water in a small saucepan, stirring until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 3 minutes. Stir in blueberries, reduce heat and simmer 8-10 minutes. Stir in butter until melted.. Serve with French Toast..
19: Luscious Lemon Dessert First Layer 1 c. Flour 1 stick margarine 1/2 c chopped nuts mix and gently pat in a greased 9 x13 pan (brush fingers with a little powdered sugar to prevent sticking) Second Layer 1-8 oz and 1- 3 oz cream cheese 1 1/2 c. Cool whip ( use a 9 oz container) mix together at low speed till blended. Spread over cooled crust. Third Layer 2 - 3 oz lemon instant pudding 3 c. milk blend with mixer for 2 min.. Pour over 2nd layer and refrigerate 30 minutes. Fourth Layer Top with remaining Cool Whip. | From Aunt Joann's kitchen

When cooking, go by your own taste." ~Laiko Bahrs | Paper Bag Apple Pie 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust filling 5-6 cooking apples, peeled & sliced (Granny Smiths are good) 1 c. sugar 3 T flour 1 tsp Cinnamon 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg Topping 1 c butter or margarine 1/2 c sugar 1/4 c flour Sift together the 1 c sugar,3 T flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss with apples and arrange in pie crust. Cream butter, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/4 c flour. Spread evenly over apples. Slide carefully into a large paper grocery bag, fold top edges and fasten with paper clips or staples. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees right in the bag. Open carefully after baking. Flavors are retained in the bag and result is delicious.
21: Grammie | Potatoe Salad for a Crowd | 4 lbs red or yukon gold potatoes, peeled, quartered, salted and cooked 10-12 hardboiled eggs, chopped 3 celery stalks, diced Dressing: About 2 cups Miracle Whip or Mayo if you like that flavor better. Thin with a little milk. Add 1/4 cup sugar, and either vinegar or mustard for tartness. I like to add some celery seed too. Combine- taste and adjust- some salt and pepper can be added. Fold into potatoes. A little can be added for color. | From Grammie's kitchen | Grammie's Raspberry Cream Pie Sugar & berries enough to cover bottom of pie shell 3 rounded T flour 1/2 c sugar in bowl 1 1/2 c cream --not 2 cups 1/2 tsp vanilla Bake at 350 until center is set-about 30-40 minutes
22: Grape Salad 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened 1 (8 oz) carton sour cream 1/3 cup sugar 2 tsp vanilla 2 lb seedless green grapes 2 lb. seedless red grapes sweeter grapes are best 2 TB brown sugar 3 TB chopped pecans In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla until blended. Add grapes and toss to coat. Transfer to serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans before serving.
23: 9-inch pie shell 2/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups milk 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten 2 TB butter, softened 1 TB, plus 1 teaspoon vanilla Bake pie shell. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Stir in milk gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir at least half of the hot mixture gradually into egg yolks Blend into hot mixture in sauce pan Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat; Stir in butter and vanilla. Slice a banana and layer in bottom of pie shell. Pour cream pudding into pie shell. Meringue 3 egg whites 1 fourth teaspoon cream of tartar 6 TB sugar 1 half teaspoon vanilla Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Beat in sugar, 1 TB at a time; continue beating until stiff and glossy. Do not under beat. Beat in vanilla. Spread meringue over filling; seal to edge of crust. | Grandma's Banana Cream Pie
24: 8 oz. spaghetti, cooked 4 c. cubed chicken or turkey 1 8 oz. can sliced mushrooms 2 1/2 c melted butter 3 cans cream of chicken soup 2 c. sour cream Parmesan Cheese Cook spaghetti and pour melted butter over and toss. Immediately add all other ingredients except Parmesan cheese and mix. pour into greased 9 x 13 baking dish and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour. This recipe is easily halved and baked in 9x9 baking dish. ( a little soup will be wasted) | Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini | Grammie's Recipes
25: Easy Crock Pot Beef 1 beef roast -approx 3 lbs (Sirloin tip or boneless arm is good) 1 pkg. each: dry beef gravy dry Ranch dressing mix dry Italian dressing mix 1 c water Combine dry mixes and rub all over the roast. place in crock pot and add water. Cook for 6-8 hours. Can also be cooked in 325 degree oven in a dutch oven for 4 hours. If you like you can add cut up vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, celery, onion. Save extra broth and use left overs for French dip sandwiches | Grammies's | Laura's Creamy Grape Salad Beat together in large bowl until blended 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened 1 (8 oz) carton sour cream 1/3 cup sugar 2 tsp. vanilla Add : 2 lbs green and red grapes. Toss Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans. | Cover and refrigerate until serving. Sweeter grapes are best
26: Quick Cookies from Cake Mix 1 box white cake mix (but I think you could use any flavor-lemon is good) 1/2 c shortening (Crisco) 1/3 c. butter or margarine- softened 1 tsp. vanilla or other flavoring to enhance mix 1 egg Sugar and a container of ready to use frosting Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, beat cake-mix, shortening, butter, flavoring and egg with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on high speed 1 minute. Dough will be very stiff. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each part 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured surface. Cut with 2 1/2 inch cookie cutter into desired shapes; sprinkle with sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 5-7 minutes or until light brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. 28: 1 lb. ground beef 1 sm. bag flavored Frito's Taco or Nacho Cheese Flavored chips 1 can refried beans (a little water stirred in to make them spreadable) 1 pkg. taco seasoning 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Your favorite taco toppings (shredded lettuce, green onions, diced tomato, extra cheese, black olives, chilies, sour cream, taco sauce...) Brown beef and cook with taco seasoning, as directed on seasoning pkg. Crumble chips in the bottom of a square casserole dish. Pour a little of the sauce from the taco meat over the chips. 29: Aunt Kathy | Raspberry Salsa Dip | In an 8" casserole layer 1 can black beans, drained 8 oz. cream cheese, cut into thin slices 1 small red onion. chopped 1 jar of raspberry salsa 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese bake 350 for 20-30 minutes Serve with tortilla chips or crackers | Barbeque Sandwiches 1 lb ground beef 1/2 small onion-diced 1/2 tsp salt 1 T sugar 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 T Worcestershire sauce 1/2 c+ ketchup 1 T brown sugar Cook ground beef and onion. Add all other ingredients. Heat through. Serve on buns
30: From the kitchen of Aunt Kathy | Marion's Chinese Spaghetti 2 C. Minute Rice 1/2 lb vermicelli 2 sticks margarine 2 cans onion soup 2 cans chicken broth 1 small can mushroom pieces 1 can sliced water chestnuts 1 T. soy sauce 1 c water Break vermicelli into 2" pieces. Cook in melted butter in large skillet until brown. Mix all other ingredients in a large casserole dish. Add vermicelli. Bake at 350 for 1 hr. I got this recipe from someone Lynne used to work with. It's a good potluck dish.
31: Unattended Rib Roast 1 standing rib roast-any size salt ^ pepper Preheat oven to 375 6-7 hrs. before mealtime. Season roast with salt & pepper and place in roasting pan. Cook, uncovered for 1 hr. Turn oven off- DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR! 1 hr. before serving turn the oven on again to 375. Cook for 40 minutes. Take out of oven, tent with foil and let rest for 20 minutes. Carve. Roast will be rare in the center and well done around the edges. Great for special company. Serve with twice-baked potatoes ( you can bake them while the roast is resting. Just remember to not open the oven door until the very end! | Cattlemen's Club Twice-Baked Potatoes 5 large potatoes- scrubbed and baked 1/3 c half and half 1 c. sour cream 3 T green onion-minced 4 strips of bacon- fried and crumbled (or Real bacon bits) 1/2 t parsley 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 2 t. pepper 1/4 t garlic salt 1 egg-beaten 1/3 c butter 1/2c mushroom- sliced and sauteed in a little butter (or canned) Cut the baked potatoes in half lengthwise. Scoop put the potato, careful not to tear the skin. Mash the potatoes and half and half until fairly smooth. Stir in all the other ingredients. Mixture will be a little softer that mashed potatoes; Fill potato skins and top with a sprinkle of extra cheddar cheese. Bake 350 for 20 minutes. (or, you can pour into a greased casserole dish and bake.) this is a great side dish for steaks or prime rib. you can make ahead and keep in the fridge- just bake a little longer so they are heated through.
32: 2 lbs. raw frozen shrimp in the shell 1 c. butter 1c. margarine 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce Run shrimp under cold water to remove frost. Melt butter, margarine, and Worcestershire sauce together. Place shrimp and sauce in 9"x13" pan. Bake uncovered for 30 min. Have some crusty bread to sop up the butter sauce. | Aunt Kathy | Baked Shrimp | Hot Dog Rolls 1 lb hot dogs- cut into thirds 1 lb bacon- cut in half 1 lb brown sugar Wrap each hot dog third with half strip of bacon. Arrange in a 9x13 baking dish. ( I line the pan with a Cookin' Magic Bag for easier clean up) Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 350 for 1 hr This appetizer is so good. Everyone will want the recipe. But, it's my secret recipe that I'm sharing with my family! | Aunt Lucille's Lemon Cake 1 pkg Super Moist Lemon Cake mix bake the cake as directed on box in a 9x13 pan while the cake is baking mix together: 2 T butter, melted 2 T water 2 C powdered sugar 1/2 c lemon juice When the cake is done, poke holes over the entire cake with a meat fork or chop stick. While cake is still hot, pour the glaze slowly over the top of the cake. Let cool before cutting.
33: Layer Spinach Salad 1 9 oz pkg refrigerated uncooked cheese tortellini 2 c shredded red cabbage 6 c torn spinach leaves 1 c cherry tomatoes cut in half 1/2 c green onions sliced 1 8 oz bottle Ranch dressing bacon bits Cook tortellini according to pkg directions. Rinse with cool water and let drain. In a 9x13 glass dish, layer cabbage, spinach, tortellini, tomatoes and onions. Pour dressing over top and sprinkle on the bacon bits. Cover and refrigerate until serving Kind of a twist on regular pasta salad. I use a glass dish because the layers look pretty. | Glazed Pork 1 lb pork tenderloin cut crosswise into 1/2" slices 1 tsp margarine 2 T brown sugar 2 T orange juice 1 tsp soy sauce 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp ground ginger Melt butter in med-high skillet. Add pork and cook until no longer pink ( about 6-8 min. ) In a small bowl, combine all other ingredients. pour sauce over pork and cook until thickened and pork is coated. A quick and easy recipe and one of Lynne's favorites. Serve this over rice with steamed oriental vegetables on the side.
34: Lemonade Pie 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk 1 6 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate 12 oz. whipped cream or Cool whip 2 9" graham cracker pie crusts Fresh berries for garnish (optional) thaw the lemonade concentrate and mix with the milk. (do not dilute the lemonade) Refrigerate for 30 min. (This is important) Fold the whipped cream into the lemonade mixture. Load into pie crusts. Decorate with berries, if you want. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve and refrigerate leftovers. This is a great desert for a hot summer day-no baking! It makes 2 pies-keep one for you and give one to a neighbor or friend! | 1 c fresh green beans- cleaned 1/2 c water 1 T butter 2 T slivered almonds 1 tsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel salt Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the beans and cook, covered, until tender crisp (about 6-8 min) drain and keep warm Melt butter in saucepan. Add almonds and cook on low until they are lightly browned about 2 min) Add lemon juice and peel and a little salt. Pour over beans. | Lemony Green Beans | Aunt Kathy
35: Chocolate Cookies | 1 Devil's Food cake mix 1/2 c vegetable oil 2 eggs 1 c chocolate chips Mix all ingredients. Drop in rounded tablespoons on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 10 min Makes about 3 1/2 doz cookies. You can leave out the chocolate chips and frost these cookies. Or, you can substitute peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips,or nuts. I make these often to send to Ava and Beck Cranberry-Pineapple Punch 1 48 oz. bottle cranberry juice 1 48 oz can pineapple 1/2 c sugar 2 tsp almond extract 1 2 liter bottle ginger ale, chilled Stir together everything but the ginger ale and chill for 8 hours. Add the ginger ale right before serving. I serve this punch for Thanksgiving, but it's a good punch for any time of the year. Aunt Kathy
36: "There is no love sincerer than the love of food." ~George Bernard Shaw | From the Sanford Kitchen | Taffy Apple Pizza 1 18 oz pkg refrigerated sugar cookie dough 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese-softened 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 2-3 medium Granny Smith Apples-peeled and sliced Cinnamon 1/4 cup carmel ice cream topping 1/2 cup nuts Spread cookie dough on round baking stone. Bake 350 until golden. While baking, mix peanut butter, cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla, Spread onto cooled crust. place apple slices around and drizzle carmel topping over top. Garnish with nuts and cinnamon.

Mix together 1st 4 ingredients. Pour into prepared cake pans & bake at 350 25=30 min. Cool Completely. Mix Cool Whip, crushed pineapple & pudding mix until well blended. 38: Oatmeal Cookies 1 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 2 jumbo eggs beaten 1 TB vanilla extract 1 1/2 cup flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 1 TB cinnamon 4 cups oats ( we use Quaker Quick or Old Fashioned...NOT instant! 2 cups walnuts 1 cup raisins | Mom Sanford | German Chocolate Icing | 1 cup evaporated milk 1 cup sugar 1 1/3 cup coconut 3 egg yolks 1 cup pecans 1/4 stick of margarine 1 tsp vanilla Cook & stir over med heat until mixture thickens about 12 mins. | Cream butter & sugar, add eggs and vanilla-beat well. 39: 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding 3 cups milk 2 cup All purpose flour 2 TB sugar 1 stick butter 1 cup chopped pecans 8 oz cream cheese 1 cup powdered sugar Large container Cool Whip Step 1 Mix 2 boxes on instant vanilla pudding with 3 cups milk Step 2 Mix 1/2 cup melted butter with 1 cup flour, 2 TB sugar & 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Form into bottom of pan, bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 mins Step 3 Beat together 8 oz cream cheese & 1 cup powdered sugar. Fold in 1 cup Cool whip. Spread on cooled crust. Step 4 Spread cooled pudding on top of cream cheese mixture. Then spread remaining cool whip on top of pudding and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Cool in refrigerator | Sanford Family Favorite Dessert
40: Baked Crab dip 8 oz. cream cheese 1 tsp milk 1 can crab meat 2 tsp chopped onions 1/2 tsp. horseradish 1/4 tsp. salt 4 slices Velveeta Cheese paprika Blend all ingredients, except Velveeta an paprika. Place in an oven proof dish. Top with Velveeta, sprinkle with paprika or top with toasted almonds. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers | Buffalo Chicken Dip 1 pkg. cream cheese 3/4 cup chicken 1 cup Red hot sauce 1 cup Blue Cheese salad dressing 12 oz. mozzarella cheese Spread cream cheese on the bottom of a 9x13 pan. 41: Oriental Chicken Salad Dressing: 1 1/2 cup corn oil 9 T white vinegar 3 pkgs ramen noodle seasoning 10 t sugar mix together- beat well In large bowl mix: 1 bunch green onions, chopped 1 head cabbage, cored and chopped 1 can sliced water chestnuts 3 pkgs ramen noodles, crushed 2 lb cooked chicken breast,cubed 1 small container sesame seeds Cover with dressing and mix well. Refrigerate at least 3 hours...the longer the better.
42: Chicken and Wild Rice 4 whole boneless chicken breasts, cut each into small pieces 1 can cream of celery soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 2 cans milk 1 stick of butter 1 box Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice (original) Combine the 3 soups, milk, butter, eat all together so butter melts. meanwhile spread rice and seasoning pkg in bottom of large rectangular baking dish. Moisten rice with half of the soup. Place chicken breast pieces on top of rice. Pour the rest of the soup mixture over it all. Bake in 275 oven for 3 hours -uncovered. Great for company! | Pumpkin Pie Squares | Hot Bacon and Swiss Dip | 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese 1/2 c mayo 2 T chopped green onions 1 c swiss cheese 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled ( I just use the Oscar Mayer real bacon bits) Soften cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Add mayo, swiss cheese, and green onions and mix well. Transfer to a baking dish. Top with bacon and crushed crackers. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until bubbly. I serve this with pita chips. | Mix 2 eggs with one large can Pumpkin Pie Mix ( not packed pumpkin) Pour mixture into 9x13 pan. Sprinkle contents of one yellow cake mix over pumpkin mixture. Dot with one stick butter. Bake 350 for 50 minutes Yummy and simple!!
