1: For Sims | A Collection of Favorite Family Recipes

2: Easy Breakfast Bake | Ingredients: 1 8oz can crescent rolls 1 pkg 8 oz Smoked Ham, chopped 6 eggs 1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp pepper 1 cup mozzarella 1 cup cheddar | Heat oven to 350. Unroll dough in 13x4 baking dish. Press to cover bottom, seal holes and seams. Sprinkle ham over crust. Beat eggs, milk, pepper and wisk until blended. Pour over ham and top with cheese. Bake 25 minutes or until center is set.

3: Banana Bread | Directions: Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix dry ingredients, then add to the creamed mixture. Beat in mashed bananas. (You can add a splash of vanilla extract) Add nuts and mix well. Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3 " pan. Bake at 350 for 50 - 60 minutes. | Ingredients: 1/4 cup butter 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 large bananas, mashed 1 cup of chopped nuts | Grandma's Recipe

4: Crockpot Taco Soup | Ingredients | 2 lbs ground beef, 1 envelope taco seasoning, 2 10oz cans of Rotel, 4 cups canned diced tomatoes, 1 can small navy beans, 1 can small black beans, 1 can white corn, 1 med chopped onion, 1 envelope Ranch dressing | Directions: Brown meat. Rinse to discard far. Add onion and finish browning. Sitir in 2 dry mixes. Add rest of ingredients. Heat to serving temperature and serve with sour cream and grated cheese. 7: Ceasar Salad | Ingredients: 1 tbs vegetable oil, 1/2 clove garlic, 1 tsp worcestershire, 1 tsp lemon juice, dash of salt and pepper, dash dry mustard, bunch of romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, 1 medium egg coddled for 1 min, croutons | Directions: (one serving) In jar, combine oil, garlic, worcestershire, lemon juice, salt, pepper and mustard. Shake. Sprinkle on jar contents, cheese and croutons, Toss with egg.

8: Side Dishes | Ingredients: 6 medium potatoes, 2 cups of shredded cheddar, 1/4 cup butter, 1.5 cup sour cream, 1/3 cup chopped green onions, salt and pepper, 2 tablespoons of butter Directions: Cook potatoes in skins. Cool then peel and shred them coarsely. In saucepan on low heat, combine cheese and 1/4 cup butter, Stir constantly until almost melted. Remove from heat and blend in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper. Fold in potatoes and put in 2 qt greased casserole dish, Dot with butter. Bake uncovered 25 min at 350 | Gourmet Potatoes

9: Ingredients: 1 large bunch of broccoli (steamed and cut into pieces), 2 eggs, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 large can of mushrooms- drained, 3/4 cup of mayo, 1-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese Directions: Mix soup, mayo and eggs. Blend in broccoli and mushrooms. Put in greased casserole dish and add cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes | Broccoli Casserole

10: Egg Bread Dressing | This recipe will make 2 pans 9x12''. You should make this up the day before and cook it right before you want to serve it. You may also use Jiffy cornbread mix instead of egg bread. Egg Bread Ingredients: 1 cup meal, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 cup of mile. Directions: Mix ingredients and bake at 350 until done | Other Ingredients: 1 loaf of bread, Egg Bread, 1 cup chopped celery, 1 cup chopped onion, 4 large eggs, 1/2 cup Carnation cream, 1 stick salted butter, 6 cans chicken broth, Wyler's granulated chicken bouillon, Salt and Pepper

11: Egg Bread Dressing | Directions: 1. Toast 1 loaf of bread until very crispy 2. In a LARGE bowl, break up toast and cornbread into tiny pieces. (Crunch toast) 3. Chop celery, cook a little while on stove with 1 stick of butter. Chop onions. 4. Make a well in the center of the toast mix and place raw onions in it. Pour hot butter and celery over the onions. Let cool. 5. Add 4 large eggs and cream. Mix with your hands. | 6. Heat chicken broth. Add bouillon to taste. 7. Pour about 1/2 stock and mix with hands. add stock until dressing is juicy and falls through your fingers Add salt and pepper 8. Bake 325 for 45min - 1hr | DO NOT OVERCOOK Sides will pull away from pan and dressing will be set

12: The Smith's Walnut Dressing | Ingredients: 1 loaf of white bread, 2 sticks of butter, 1/2 pound of walnuts - chopped, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of raisins | Directions: Tear bread into small pieces. Melt butter in large frying pan with wooden spoon. Add bread and stir continually on medium heat until butter is evenly absorbed. Add walnuts and stir continually for 7 minutes. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add raisins and stir until raisins are hot.

13: Hot Crab Dip | Ingredients: 2-8oz pkg softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup mayo, 1 tbs powdered sugar, 1 tbs dry white wine, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp mustard, 1/4 tsp garlic salt, 1/4 tsp salt, 1- 6oz can crab meat drained and rinsed | Directions: Combine first 8 ingredients and mix. Gently add crab meat. Pour into well greased 1 qt baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve hot with crackers.

14: Sweet Potato Casserole | Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes, Cinnamon, Butter, Half and Half Marshmellows, Brown Sugar, Pecans (optional) Directions: Boil Sweet Potatoes. Peel and mash, adding butter (1 stick if you are cooking for 10 plus people). Add a big dash of half and half, a few big dashes of cinnamon, and brown sugar depending on how sweet you would like, Add pecans if wanted. Put in pyrex pans and put dashes of cinnamon on top. Put in oven for 30 min on 300 degrees, remove and add marshmellows. Broil until toasted, serve. Two people per potato, approx

15: Ambrosia | Ingredients: Oranges, Coconut, Sugar Directions: Peel oranges and chop up. Add shredded coconut and sprinkle on sugar to taste. (You can add pineapple and nuts to jazz it up)

16: Cornbread | Ingredients: 2 eggs, 3/4 cup of mayonnaise, 15 oz can of creamed corn, 2 cups of Glory Brand cornbread mix (a little less than 2 packages) 1-2 tablespoons of sugar Directions: In an ungreased 9x9 pan, mix the above ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes uncovered.

17: Sour Cream Muffins | Ingredients: 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 cup self rising flour Directions: Mix all ingredients. Spray muffin tins with Pam. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 minutes or until slightly brown. Makes 12 cupcake size muffins

18: Cream Cheese Biscuits | Ingredients: 3 oz package of cream cheese softened, 1 stick of margarine softened, 1 cup flour Directions: Cream together cheese and margarine. Blend in flour. Shape into log rolls in wax paper. Chill several hours or overnight. Slice and bake 10 minutes (0r until brown) at 400 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet. Makes 3 dozen

19: Beer Bread | Ingedients: 1 12 oz bottle of beer (darker beer yields heartier bread), 3 cups of self-rising flour, 3 tablespoons of white sugar Directions: In a large bowl, mix together sugar and flour. Add beer and continue to mix. Pour into a 9x5 greased loaf pan or greased muffin pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes. Makes one dozen rolls or one loaf

20: Chicken Enchiladas | Ingredients: 1 medium onion, 4 oz can chopped green chiles - drained, 8 oz cream cheese, 3.5 cup cooked chicken - chopped, 1 package of flour tortillas, 16 oz Monterrey Jack cheese, 2 cups of whipping cream Directions: Saute onion in butter until soft. Add green chiles and cook 1 minute. Add cream cheese and stir until smooth and melted. Stir in chicken. Put 2-3 tablespoons of chicken mixture in each tortilla and roll up with seam side down in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Drizzle cream over top of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, uncovered. Serves 6

21: Poppy Seed Chicken | Ingredients: 3-4 Chicken Breasts cooked and cut into bite size pieces, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 pint of sour cream, Spaghetti noodles cooked (enough for 4-5 people), 1 4 oz can of mushrooms - drained, 1 roll Ritz crackers - crumbled, 1 stick of butter, 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds Directions: Mix sour cream, soup and mushrooms. Add chicken pieces and mix. Add noodles and mix well. Pour into greased pan and bake covered 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Last 5 minutes of baking, add topping and continue baking 5 minutes uncovered. (Topping: melt butter then add crumbled Ritz crackers and poppy seeds)

22: Tilapia or Flounder | Ingredients: 3 lbs of Flounder or Tilapia 1/2 cup mayo 1 tsp grated onion 1/4 tsp hot sauce 1 cup parmesan Paprika Lemon Slices Fresh Parsley Sprigs | Directions: Broil fillets for 3 minutes. Mix mayo, onion, hot sauce and permesan. Top fillets with mayo mixture and sprinkle with paprika. Broil 4 minutes or until done. To serve, garnish with lemon

23: Easy Chicken Marsala | Ingredients: 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp oregano 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 1 tbs olive oil 1 tbs butter 1 cup sliced mushrooms, fresh 1/2 cup Marsala wine | Directions: In a medium bowl, stir flour, garlic salt, pepper, and oregano. Coat chicken in mix. Heat oil and butter in skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken for 2 minutes, then flip and add mushrooms and cook another 2 min. Add wine and cover skillet, reduce heat to low, simmer 10 min or until done.

24: Ingredients: Rump Roast, 2 cans of French Onion Soup, 2 cans of Golden Mushroom Soup Directions: Sear roast in dutch oven using small amounts of olive oil. Add cans of soup. Cover and bake 350 degrees for 1.5 hours | Roast and Gravy | Lemon and Herb Chicken | Ingredients: Chicken breasts, Fresh or Dried Rosemary, Lemon Slices, Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper Directions: Coat chicken breasts with olive oil. Sprinkle Rosemary, Salt and Pepper on chicken. Top with lemon slices. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until no longer pink in center.

25: JJ's Heavenly Casserole | Ingredients: 2 lbs lean ground 1 (30 oz) jar Ragu 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons garlic salt 2 teaspoons garlic powder 8 oz mushrooms 6 sliced green onions 8 oz lite cream cheese 1 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 2 tablespoons dried parsley 16 oz tiny egg noodles (cooked and drained) 1 pound grated sharp cheddar 2 cups of sour cream | Directions: Brown mean and add mushrooms. Add sauce, sugar, garlic salt and powder, and chili powder. Simmer 8-10 minutes. Cook noodles and drain. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, onions and mix well. Add garlic powder, oregano, thyme and parsley. In 2 two quart casseroles (sprayed with Pam) layer: Noodles/Meat Mix/Sour Cream Mix/Noodles/Cheese Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes Freezes well, Serves 16-20

26: Charles' Caramel Icing Ingredients: 1 stick butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup of milk, 2 cups of 10X confectioners sugar Instructions: Melt butter in saucepan, add brown sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add milk, bring to a rapid boil stirring constantly. Let cool at least 15 min and add powdered sugar. Ice cake before icing hardens

27: Peach Crisp | Ingredients: 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 6 tablespoons of melted butter, 5-6 FRESH peaches Directions: Preheat oven to 375. Mix flour, sugar, and egg. Peel and slice peaches to fill 8x8 baking pan. Sprinkle lemon juice over peaches. Pour mixture over peaches, and then pour the butter on top. Bake 25 - 30 min or until golden brown. | Chocolate Covered Strawberries | Ingredients: 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons of shortening, 12-18 strawberries Directions: Melt chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Dip berries, shake, and let harden on wax paper.

28: Evelyn Ann's Caramel Cake Ingredients: 3 cups cake flour, 2 sticks salted butter, 3 cups sugar, 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 6 large eggs, 2 tablespoons vanilla Directions: Preheat oven to 325. Generously grease and lightly flour a tube pan. (Or spray) Sift flour 3 times. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Beat only until each disappears. | Add vanilla to the whipping cream. Blend in one cup flour followed by a 1/2 cup of whipping cream. Repeat with 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup cream. Add remaining flour. Fold in until completely smooth.

29: Add batter to pan, level it, and drop on counter a few times to knock out air bubbles. Place in the center of the oven and bake for 1 hr 15 min, or until cake tester comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Invert on cake plate. Cake should be cool to touch before icing. Icing: Ingredients: 1 box of light brown sugar, 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 stick salted butter. Directions: Melt ingredients in saucepan, bringing to a slow boil. Boil slowly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and beat until spreading consistency. If icing becomes too hard, add small amount of hot water. If icing is too thin, beat some more. Fill hole with extra icing!

30: Grandma's Pound Cake Ingredients: 1 pkg Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Classic Yellow Cake, 1 (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding, 4 large eggs, 1 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil Directions: Preheat oven to 350. Grease 10" bundt pan. Combine ingredients and beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Bake 50 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 25 minutes. | Grandma Johnson | Grandma's Tollhouse Cookies Ingredients: 2 1/4 all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 cup butter - soft, 3/4 cup white sugar, 3/4 brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 large eggs, 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips. Directions: Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, white and brown sugars and vanilla until creamy. Bake 9-11 minutes at 375

31: Sour Cream Coffee Cake | Ingredients: Cake: 1 package of yellow cake mix, 3/4 cup oil, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 4 eggs, 1 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of chopped pecans Middle Layer: 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of chopped pecans, 2 teaspoons cinnamon Directions: Combine cake mix, oil, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and sour cream. Beat for 2 minutes on medium. Add pecans. Grease and flour bundt pan then pour 1/2 the mixture into the pan. Mix ingredients for the middle layer together then add to bundt pan. Pour remaining batter on top of middle layer. Bake at 325 for 50-60 minutes. Cool 30 minutes before removing from pan
