People complained, our group did not get along. 3: Ingredients Assorted vegetables 1 carrot 1 celery stick 1/2 cucumber
4: Ingredients 2 large medium-diced tomatoes Medium diced onion Cup finely chopped cilantro Juice of 1/2 lime Pinch of salt Finely diced jalapeno to taste (each kitchen will have jalapeno to use)
5: Pico de Gallo with Baked Tortillas | Directions 1.Dice tomatoes and onion and place into a medium metal bowl 2.Remove jalapeno seeds, avoid touching the seeds with your hands as they can burn your skin 3.Finely dice jalapeno (mince), add tsp for mild salsa up to 2 tbsp for spicy salsa (decide as a group) 4.Juice the lime into an ingredient bowl, pour juice over your salsa, and then add chopped cilantro and salt. Mix well. Serve with Tortilla crisps Marks: Shared Responsibility: 3/5 - Quite frankly, no one got along as well as we would like to. We heckled and argued often. However, this effort is satisfactory because we did get everything completed no worse than any other group. Clean-up: 5/5 - No matter what, we always tried to get every clean up finished. We are all naturally not that disorganized. Taste: 10/10 - I have a belief that as long as we follow the directions of the recipe, the taste will turn out optimal. Presentation: 5/5 - We took special care to arrange the food on the plate. Cooking Technique: 4/5 - We followed all techniques and cooking styles, and the pieces of tortilla are even nicely shaped. 6: Chopped salad | Ingredients 1/2 apple 1/2 cucumber 4 strawberries, washed and cut into quarters 2 lettuce leaves 1/2 tsp. vinegar Directions 1. Wash all vegetables | Directions Slice zucchini (or other favorite veggies) on the diagonal to a 1/2-inch thick slices. Wash, core and seed peppers; chop coarsely. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. While pasta is still hot, toss with washed baby spinach. Wash tomatoes and cut into halves. Thinly slice the onions. Crush peeled garlic in the olive oil. Wash and chop basil leaves and add to oil. In a large bowl, toss remaining ingredients with oil, balsamic vinaigrette, sea salt and black pepper, to taste. If you prefer a milder garlic taste, spray garlic with olive oil and roast or sauté until tender before crushing it in the olive oil. | MOM'S FAVORITE!
8: Baking | Ingredients 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons sugar 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese 3 strips cooked bacon, chopped 1 cup buttermilk 3 tablespoons butter, melted *note: I believed that our group used a slightly different variation of said recipe. However, many of them on this list is familiar to me. If there are any questions, concerns, or required extra elaboration, please let me know. | Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spay and set aside. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix in cold butter with your fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in Cheddar cheese and bacon. Add buttermilk and stir with a spatula until just combined. 3. Drop round spoonfuls of dough, about three tablespoons, onto prepared baking sheet. Brush biscuits with melted butter. Bake 15-17 minutes or until tops are golden brown. Remove from oven and serve warm. | Bacon biscuits

It just surprised us. We worked together hard in this presentation, we deserved the good mark.
10: Ingredients 1 3/4 cup plain flour 1/4 cup NESTLÉ Baking Cocoa 4 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup sugar 100 g unsalted butter, melted 1 1/4 cups trim milk 1 egg, lightly beaten 3/4 cup HIGHLANDER Caramel Sweetened Condensed Milk | Directions 1. Preheat oven to 200C. Lightly grease the muffin pans. 2. Sift the flour, NESTLÉ Baking Cocoa and baking powder into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Scoop the flour mixture towards the outside of the bowl, leaving a space in the centre (this is called 'making a well'). 3. Combine the melted butter, milk and beaten egg in a separate bowl. 4. Pour the liquid ingredients into the well. Stir until the dry ingredients are just dampened. Don't mix too much 5. Using a large spoon half fill muffin pans with mixture. Place a tablespoonful of HIGHLANDER Caramel Sweetened Condensed Milk on top. Put more mixture over caramel to almost fill each muffin pan. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until muffins spring back when touched lightly in centre. Stand for 5 minutes, then lift out onto a rack to cool. Serve dusted with icing sugar if desired. | Chocolate caramel muffins
11: This recipe, as well as the next two baking recipes, does not feature a picture as of 4/11/12. On the days we were cooking, I believe that we simply neglected to take a picture before consuming our projects. Apologies. This is a very inappropriate decision. I simply loved this recipe, and we did a good job as a team. We are also learning how to work together better. Raising a dysfunctional group into a group that did manage to get so far should earn something.

13: Double chocolate cookies | Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 2/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 eggs 1 3/4 cups NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks | Directions PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F. COMBINE flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chunks. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until cookies are puffed and centers are set but still soft. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. No one bossed anyone else around. People didn't heckle and fool around, and it is a great sight to see everyone working on drying and washing dishes. We are not friends yet, but we aren't that arguing, stubborn group at the beginning of the term anymore, and that is a vast improvement. The taste of the cookies were delicious, everyone did work, what's more to say? I just marked it down because of personal. I don't like chocolate.

16: Potatoes Au Gratin | Ingredients 4 lg. baking potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced lengthwise 3 c. onion, 1 lg. onion, chopped fine 1/4 lb. butter 3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed (if au grain) 1/3 tsp. pepper or if au gratin 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 can condensed skim milk or 2 c. milk | Directions If you have a microwave: Place onions in 4 cup measuring cup (microwaveable). Cook on high for 4 minutes. Add pepper, butter, 1/2 milk and/or cheese. Cook on high until butter and/or cheese is melted. Stir after 1 minute and each 30 seconds there after. If you do not have a microwave: In moderately heated saucepan add 1/2 of the butter and all of the onions. Cook until tender, stir constantly. Add pepper, 1/2 of milk, rest of butter and/or cheese. Cook until butter and/or cheese is melted, stir constantly. Pour contents of saucepan in 4 cup measuring cup. If the measuring cup contains less than 4 cups add milk until 4 cups is reached. In a 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan, cover bottom with layer of potato slices. Cover potatoes with sauce. Repeat process until potatoes are used up. If potatoes are not covered with sauce add enough milk to cover the potatoes. Cook potatoes in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes to 1 hour. Test potatoes for doneness after 40 minutes.
18: Desserts | Ingredients 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 16 crackers) 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 c. butter, melted 1 can lemon ready-to-spread frosting 1 c. sm. curd cream cottage cheese 1 c. dairy sour cream | Directions Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix graham cracker crumbs and sugar in bowl. Add butter; mix thoroughly. Reserve 3 tablespoons for topping. Press remaining mixture firmly and evenly on bottom of square 9x9x2 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool. In small mixer bowl, combine frosting, cottage cheese and sour cream. Beat on high speed until blended, about 1 minute. Pour into crumb-lined pan; sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Freeze overnight. If desired, garnish with strawberries, peaches, small bunches of seedless green grapes or other fruit. 9 to 12 servings. | Mock Cheesecake

21: Fudge Brownies | Ingredients 3/4 c. egg substitute 1/2 c. vegetable oil 2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 c. cocoa 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt | Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 8 inch square baking pan with no- stick cooking spray. In large mixing bowl, combine egg substitute, oil, and vanilla. In medium mixing bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Add dry ingredients to liquid, stirring with spoon until dry ingredients are moistened. Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 28 minutes. Cool and cut into 2 inch squares.
