1: This Cookbook is inspired by all of the talented cooks in the family.

2: 8 oz sour cream 8 oz cr. cheese, room temp. 1 envelope Taco Bell Taco seasoning mix Mix well and spread on platter. Top with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and sliced black olives (optional). Serve with your favorite corn chips. | Taco Dip

3: Pizza Fries | 1 bag (2lb) frozen French fries 1 cup of pizza sauce 1 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese Diced Pepperoni 1) Prepare fries according to package directions. Remove from oven. Pour sauce over the fries. 2) Top with cheese and pepperoni 3) Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

5: Name | Philly Shrimp Cocktail Dip | 1 pkg (8oz) Philadelphia cream cheese 3/4 cooked cleaned chopped shrimp (about 2 cups) 3/4 Kraft cocktail sauce 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese 2 green onions, sliced Spread cream cheese onto the bottom of a shallow bowl Toss shrimp with cocktail sauce, spoon over cream cheese Top with remaining ingredients Serve with wheat thins

6: Beef & Rice Taco Casserole | 1 lb ground beef 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup 1 cup Chunky Salsa or Picante Sauce 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup of uncooked instant white rice 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips 1/2 cup shredded cheese 1) Brown and drain beef 2)Stir in soup, salsa, milk & rice in skillet. Spoon into 1 1/2 qt dish 3)Bake at 400 for 25 minutes 4)Sprinkle chips around the edge along with cheese

7: Shrimp & Pasta Primavera | 8 oz linguine 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined 4 cups assorted cut-up veggies 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup chicken broth 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese 2 tblsp butter 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp dill weed 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tsp minced onion 1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper 1/4 tsp thyme Cook pasta as directed, adding shrimp and veggies during last four mins. Drain well. Mix remaining ingredients in same pot. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 5 mins. Add pasta etc, toss to coat. Also great with pre-cooked chicken.Can omit veggies and shrimp if desired. USE REAL PARMESAN !! | Yumny!

8: Ketchup & Beer Porkchops | 1 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 can of beer 1 cup of ketchup 2 - 3 Porkchops Cook in crock pot until tender 1 - 3 hours depending on thickness of chops

9: Baked Potato Ole | 1 lb ground beef 1 tsp chili powder 1 cup Pace Picante sauce or Thick n chunky Salsa 4 hot baked potatoes, split Shredded Cheddar Cheese * In medium skillet over medium heat, cook beef and chili powder * Add Picante sauce *Reduce heat to low and heat thorough *Serve over potatoes *Top with cheese

10: 10 oz mild cheddar, shredded 2 cups cooked ham, cubed 12 slices bread 10 eggs 1 1/4 cups milk corn flakes (I use corn flake crumbs) Butter 13x9 pan (or spray). Place six slices of bread on bottom. Layer ham, cheese, and bread. Blend eggs and milk. Pour evenly over top. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes or crumbs on top. Bake at 350 for 1 hr uncovered. | Ham and Cheese Bake

11: 2 lbs hamburger 1 lb velvetta cheese 2 tsp onion salt 2 tsp orgeno 1 can tomato soup (small) 1 dozen hamburger buns Brown hamburger and drain Cube cheese and melt into hamburger Add Seasoning and soup Place on buns Bake 350 for 15 min | Pizza Burgers

12: Macaroni and Cheese | 2 TBS Butter 1/2 onion 2 TBS Flour 2 Cups Milk Salt & Pepper to taste 8 oz. Noodles (cooked) 8 - 10 oz. Sharp White Cheddar Cheese (cubed or shredded) 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese In small saucepan, melt butter on med/high heat. Add onion and saute until opaque. Add flour, salt and pepper. Stir until mixture is bubbling. Turn heat down to med/low and add milk all at once. Stir continuously until mixture has thickened. Remove from heat. Add sauce, noodles and cheeses in an 8 x 8 pan (I use a glass baking dish) and mix together. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes covered with foil. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 - 15 minutes.

13: Cowboy Macaroni | 1 14 oz mac n cheese 1 lb of beef 1 10 oz canned corn 1 6 oz tomato paste 1 10 oz tomato sauce Preheat oven to 450 Prepare Mac n cheese Brown Beef Combine mac n cheese, beef and sauces Bake 20 -25 minutes

14: "Uncooked Strawberry Jam" | 3 cups crushed strawberries Add 5 cups of sugar Mix Well Let stand 20 minutes, stirring occasionally Dissolve 1 pkg pectin in 1 cup water Bring it to a boil for 1 minute Add to fruit and sugar Stir for 2 minutes Spoon into clean jars Cover and let stand until jell (24 hours) Seal and freeze Grandma Alice

15: Creamy Spinach Dip | 1 8oz package of cream cheese, cubed 2 tbls grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon thyme 12 of 10oz box frozen chopped spinach thawed and drained 1/4 cup whipping cream 2 tblsp diced pimento 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp garlic salt Combine cream cheese and whipping cream in greased little dipper unit. Cover and heat until cheese is melted 30-60 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and heat for 30 minutes. Serve with raw vegetables, cracker or bread pieces.

16: Orange Julius | 3 oz. frozen oj concentrate 1 C milk 1 C water 6 Tblsp sugar 1 tsp vanilla 12 ice cubes Blend all ingredients until smooth

18: 1 lb of potatoes 1/2 tsp of black pepper 1 white onion 1 cup of milk 1 celery rib 2 cups of swiss cheese 2 carrots 1/2 cup baby shrimp 2 cups of water 1/4 tsp dried thyme 1/2 cup of vegetable broth 2 tbls white wine *Peel potatoes & cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Peel onion and chop into 1/4 inch pieces. Chop the celery into 1/4 pieces. Peel carrots and shred using a vegetable grater. Place the potatoes, onions, celery, carrots, water, vegetable broth, white wine and thyme into a slow cooker. Cook covered on high 4-6 hours. *Use hand held mixer to puree the vegetables in the slow cooker (should be like baby food) Add shrimp and cook covered for 30 minutes on low. Shred the cheese using a vegetable grater. Add cheese, milk, & pepper. Cook covered for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes until cheese is melted. | Cream of Shrimp Soup

19: 2 tsp chili powder 1 tsp black pepper 2 tsp paprika 1 tblsp salt 11/2 C ketchup 1/2 C water 1/4 C vinegar 1/4 C worcestershire Mix together well. | Barbecue Sauce

20: Puppy Chow | 1 bag of chocolate chips 1/2 cup of peanuts 1 cup powder sugar 14 cut peanut butter 6 cups of rice crispix Melt chips Stir in peanut butter place sugar in bag Add crispix and shake

21: Oreo Torte | 30 crushed oreo cookies 8 oz cream cheese, room temp 1 C xxx sugar 24 oz Cool Whip sm. instant choc. pudding (2 C) prepared Pat Oreos in bottom of 13x9 pan. Mix cream cheese and sugar well, then add 12oz Cool Whip and mix until smooth. Spread mixture over cookies. Prepare pudding and pour over . Refrigerate. When cool top with 12 oz Cool Whip.

22: Classic Peanut Butter Cookies | 1 cup butter 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 2 1/2 cups sifted sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 tsp baking soda 1 cup peanut butter 1/2 tsp salt Cream butter, add sugars & peanut butter, mix well Beat in eggs and sifted dry ingredients Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes

23: Peanut Butter Balls | 1 1/2 cup crushed graham cracker crumbs 1 cup of powdered sugar 2 sticks melted butter 12 oz jar of peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla mix together all ingredients and form into balls refrigerate until firm Coatings 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips Melt chocolate Dip peanut butter balls into chocolate

24: Marshmallow Pinwheels | 1 pkg of Jell O 1/2 cup of warm water 1 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows *Stir Jell O mix and water in bowl and microwave 1 1/2 min * Stir in marshmallows, microwave on low for 1 minute *Pour into 8x8 or 9x9 pan *Refrigerate for 45 *Roll up Jell O Mixture and slice to form a pinwheel

25: Rainbow Salad | 1 3oz package of each flavor; black cherry, cherry, lime, lemon, orange, orange pinapple, & strawberry 9 cups of boiling water 1 1/2 cups of evaporated milk *In separate bowls mix black cherry, lime, orange and strawberry with 1 1/2 cup boiling water - let cool to room temp *Separate bowls mix cherry, lemon, and orange pineapple with 1 cup boiling water and 1/2 cup evaporate milk - let cool to room temperature *Add the room temperature black cherry to 9x12. Refrigerate until chilled. Followed by: cherry, lime, lemon, orange, orange pineapple, & strawberry

26: Ice Cream | 1/2 Cup sugar 1 Cup 2% milk 1 Cup cream 1 tsp vanilla 2 tblsp Jello instant pudding mix(dry) Put all ingredients in small container with water-tight lid. Place small container in larger container and pack ice cubes around small container. Secure lid on large container. Shake, rattle, and roll until it's ice cream! *Original recipe calls for a sm. and lg. coffee can, but those are rare these days, and you have to duct tape the lids on.

27: Fruit Dip | 8 oz cream cheese 7 oz marshmallow creme 1 tblsp lemon juice 1 sm pkg flavored Jell-O Mix together well. Serve with fruit such as strawberries and sliced bananas.

28: Snicker Salad | 1 sm box vanilla pudding 1 1/3 cup milk 3 small snicker bars , 1 16oz cool whip 3 unpeeled apples Mix milk & pudding beat for 1 min Mix in cool whip Cut apples & snickers in small to medium pieces and add

29: Homemade Granola Bars 5 cups of Oatmeal 4 1/2 cups of corn flakes 1 cup of chocolate chips or 1 1/2 cup raisins 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup 1/4 cup peanut butter 1/4 vegetable oil 1 pkg crushed graham crackers 1 cup coconut 3/4 cup butter 10 oz of mini marshmallows Mix dry ingredients Melt together peanut butter, honey, butter, oil, & marshmallows Mix together all ingredients and press into a cookie sheet. (Takes a little coaxing). Bake at 350/325 for 10 minutes Cool, cut and package. Can substitute any cereal for corn flakes, Can use nuts instead of coconut or Can use dried fruits for raisins

30: MICROWAVE RHUBARB STRAWBERRY CRISP 1 lb. rhubarb (3 c.), cut in 1/2" slices 3 c. strawberries, quartered 1/3 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 3/4 c. quick cooking oats 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Ice cream Combine first 4 ingredients in 8 x 8 inch glass baking dish. Combine next 5 ingredients. Sprinkle over fruit. Microwave on high until rhubarb is tender, and crisp is bubbly throughout (12-14 minutes) rotating dish once. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve with ice cream.

31: Apple Crisp | 10 cups apples; peeled, cored and sliced 1 cup white sugar 1 tablespoon flour 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup water 1 cup quick cooking oats 1 cup all purpose flour 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup melted butter *Preheat to 350 degrees *Place sliced apples in 9x13. Mix white sugar, 1 tblsp flour and cinnamon and spinkle over apples *Pour water evenly over all *Combine oats, flour brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over the apple mixture *Bake for 45 minutes

32: Doritios Bake Ingredients: 1 lb. hamburger 1 pkg. taco seasoning 8 oz. sour cream 1 pkg. crescent rolls (8) 1 can tomato sauce 1 can diced tomatoes (optional) 1 c. shredded cheese Dorito chips 1. Brown hamburger and drain. 2. Add taco seasoning, tomato sauce, tiny bit of water, and diced tomatoes. Simmer... 3. In 9x13 dish, press out crescent rolls and roll them to form crust. 4. Here comes the Dairy!!! Layer hamburger mixture, sour cream and then cheese 5. Crush about 3/4 of a bag of Doritos and put them on top. Bake at 350 for 30 min.
