1: Alcohol is also known as ethyl alcohol and ethanol. Chemical formula is C2H6O

2: Alcohol is a depressant drug. Usually people drink to ease their pain.

3: Different kinds of alcohol -beer -wine -four locos -joose -spirits -liquor The street name or slang term for alcohol is booze, wallie, or liq.

4: You drink to have fun but drinking until you pass out is not fun

9: Drinking is bad to a certain extent. I believe drinking for special occasions is good but knowing what the limit is better. Asking yourself after four shots of tequila and three beers is the limit especially if your driving home is a big no. Theres a such thing as a light weight which means alcohol hits you harder and quicker then others.

10: Drinking and driving? Well if texting or talking on the phone or even eating while driving is dangerous why wouldn't drinking be?

Wines made of grapes have existed for more than 10,000 years and other alcoholic drinks like mead and grapes have existed for even longer. Alcohol had been used socially for many diverse purposes like providing courage in battles, calming feuds, sealing pacts and celebration festivals.

Impaired judgment: Alcohol is a depressant and it significantly relaxes a person to such an extent that the person tends to suffer from impaired judgment and tends to act in a way or do things that they normally don't do. Hangover: Headache, dizziness, nausea, dehydration, vomiting etc.

20: Alcohol has a long history of medical uses, but is no longer used as a medicine in its own right. today it is combined with other ingredients in cough syrups or elixirs.

21: Alcohol dependence is also called alcoholism. You are physically or mentally addicted to alcohol. You have a strong need, or craving to drink. You feel like you need to drink everyday in order for you day to go by. Alcoholism is a long term disease. It is not a weakness or lack of willpower. Like any other disease it has a course that can be predicted, has known symptoms, and is influenced by your genes and your life situation.
