2: There were four major social classes in Rome. They are the aristocracy, plebeians, clients, and slaves. The Aristocracy (Patricians): The head of the family could do whatever he wished with the other members of his direct family, including selling them off as slaves or putting them to death. Plebeians: They were the descendants of people who had come to Rome after the Patrician families had founded it. They were also known as freed men. Slaves: These people were largely confined to working in the house. Clients: Clients tended to be linked with banking and trade.

The fall of the government was because there were Emperors who | were totally insane and feared any man who showed the least amount of skill or intelligence. | The three key rulers in Rome were Julius Caesar, Tiberius and Caesar Augustus.
