FC: Diary of a star By: Izaya Smith
This book is dedicated to Mr. H because he said that it would be great if you dedicate this to me
In the beginning 1. A star first comes out as a ball of burning gas and dust. 2. The gravity pulls the gas and dust together to make a sphere. 3. When the sphere gets closely compacted it gets hotter. 4. Then the hydrogen changes into helium. 5. This last process is called nuclear fusion.
In My Childhood 1. Energy is getting generated in the core of the star. 2. In this process there is a lot of energy given out from the star. 3. The size of the star will change very little. 4. This is the longest stage of the star. 5. Hydrogen atoms fuse into helium atoms.
As an adult 1. In this stage the star can become a red giant. 2. A red giant is a star that expands and cools once it uses all of its hydrogen. 3. The loss of hydrogen causes the center of the star to shrink. 4. When the center of the star shrinks the atmosphere of the star grows. 5. The red giant can be 10 or more times bigger then the sun.
The End Of My Life 1. This is the final stage of a star. 2. A star that is smaller or the same size of the sun is considered a white dwarf. 3. A White Dwarf is a small hot star that is the left over of the center of an old star. 4. A white dwarf has no hydrogen left and can no longer generate energy by fusing hydrogen atoms into helium atoms. 5. White Dwarf can have light for billions of years before they cool down.
