The Unit Circle | I remember most of the unit circle by taking the cosine and sine values for 30, 45, 60 degrees and 'flipping' them over the y-axis and just making the cosine value negative for each in QII. Then for the rest of the unit circle, I take the top half of the unit circle and 'flip' it over the x-axis. The cosine and sine values are both negative in QIII and the sine values are negative in QIV. ""

One-to-One Functions | The Horizontal Line Test If a horizontal line passes through the graph of a function at more than one point, it is not a one-to-one function and the inverse is not a function. | pg 384

Exponential and Logarithmic Equations | Logarithmic: logax=y The variables are in alphabetical order: a, x, and y. Exponential: x=a^2 The a is moved between the x and y | pg 412

Law of Cosines | a^2=b^2+c^2-2bccosA b^2=a^2+c^2-2accosA c^2=a^2+b^2-2abcosA I remember the end letter because it is the same as the beginning letter. Little a has a Big A Little b has a Big B Little c has a Big C

 { | { | Properties of Logarithms | logaMN: multiplication-use addition logaM/N: division-use subtraction logaM+logaN logaM-logaN | pg 432

Trigonometric Function Values of an Acute Angle | Soh Cah Toa Soh-Sine-opposite over hypotenuse Cah-Cosine-adjacent over hypotenuse Toa-Tangent-opposite over adjacent

'A Smart Trig Class' A-All S-Sine T-Tangent C-Cosine | How to remember positive values in the unit circle

Area of a Triangle | K=1/2bcsinA K=1/2acsinB K=1/2absinC I remember the last part of each formula because of the two little letters in the formula. If there is a little a and b then I know Big C will be at the end.
