2: John Adams was and American statesman diplomat as well as a political therapist. John Adams was the second president of the United States too. He had a major part in the forming of America. He persuaded Congress to fight for independence. John Adams also signed the Declaration of Independence. | John Adams | JORDAN

3: His cousin Sam Adams was the unofficial leader of the Sons of Liberty. After the Boston Massacre John Adams defended Britain and won the case in court. When deciding who would write the D.O.I. he was major part in deciding that. John Adams great work reserved him a spot as vice president. John Adams was the father of John Quincy Adams who has done even greater work than him. | JORDAN

5: Francis Bacon was born on January 22, 1561 in England. He studied at Cambridge and became a member of Parliment. He argued that scientific facts required proof, that the truth was not found in arguments. To support this, he published a book called " Novum Organum " . In 1618, he was th 'lord chancellor' the most powerful position in england. Later he was fined, imprisoned and banished for " accepting bribes. After a while he was pardoned. This was the end of Francis. He died on April 9, 1626. He wrote books all his life. L.K.F. : Queen Elizabeth hated him. Francis was knighted in 1603 by King James I. | AUSTIN

She was nicknamed "Meeley" was the ringleader while younger sister Grace Muriel Earhart (1899–1998), nicknamed "Pidge," followed her example. 9: Winsto Churchill was born on November 30, 1874. In 1900, he was a member of parliment. In 1908 he was the Board of Trade's president. He was the Secretary of War from 1919-1921. In 1940 he was the Prime Minister of Britain. After the war he lost power. Churchill was Prime Minister again in 1951. He resigned his position in 1955. He stayed an MP. In 1953 he won the Nobel Peace Prize. He had one stroke, and after that and on January 24, 1965. That day was his dad's bitrthday. | AUSTIN

10: He started his major league career with the San Francisco Giants in 1975 as a right fielder and the youngest player in 1975 he was 19. | STEPHANIE

11: Jack Anthony Clark was born November 10, 1955 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. He is a former Major League Baseball player. From 1975 through 1992, Clark played for the San Francisco Giants (1975–84), St. Louis Cardinals (1985–87), New York Yankees (1988), San Diego Padres (1989–90) and Boston Red Sox (1991–92). He batted and threw right-handed. | STEPHANIE

12: Fidel Castro

13: Fidel Castro was born on August 13, 1926 in Cuba. He wanted to run for office, but the government was overthrown. Castro started a revolution. Then, he spent 15 years in prison. After a major prison release, he went to Mexico and joined a Marxist party there. Castro stormed Cuba in '56. After a guerilla war in '58, he was sworn in early '59. That's when he went all Marxist on the country and turned it communist. In the early 60's he irritated the U.S. , and the failed bay of pigs invasion happened. Castro has oppressed his people ever since. Not much else happened, save he having his brother run the country today. | Austin

14: Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States. He led the country through it's greatest crisis, The American Civil War. | Abraham Lincoln also ended slavery. He was a country lawyer, Illinois State Legislator, and U.S. House of Representatives. He failed in two attempts at a seat in the U.S. Senate. | Abraham Lincoln | JORDAN

15: Lincoln is also known for the Gettysburg address. The Gettysburg address is one of the most quoted speeches in history. Lincoln was president from 1861-1865. Lincoln was re-elected in 1864. Lincoln and his wife were watching a play and he was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. | JORDAN

16: Napoleon Bonaparte | AUSTIN

17: Napoleon Bonaparte was born on August 16 1769 in Corsica. Bonaparte attended various military schools and was the commander of the French forces in Italy(he was the general). He defeated the Ottomans in Egypt. Then he stole power in 1799 with a coup d' etat. That's when Austria, Russia, and England allied against him. In 1802, he was made consul for life. By 1800 the Austrians were defeated. War with France opened up again in 1803. in 1805, France lost a naval battle with Britain. The Holy Roman Empire was destroyed. Napoleon invaded Russia in 1812. This would be the end of his career. The war against him, Paris fell in march of 1814. | AUSTIN

18: ROSA PARKS | Rosa Louise McCauley Parks (February 4, 1913 – October 24, 2005) was an African American civil rights activist, | Rosa had many nicknames but she is most known by, "The First lady of Civil Rights" and "The Mother of the Freedom Movement." | STEPHANIE

19: On December 1, 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, Parks, age 42, refused to obey bus driver James Blake's order that she give up her seat to make room for a white passenger. Her action was not the first of its kind. | Rosa Parks' action sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott. | STEPHANIE

20: Albert Pujols started off is carrer on April 2, 2001 for the St.Louis Cardinals. Pujols is a first baseman and is well know for his hitting and feld excellence. He has won the National Leauge MVP award three times. Twice he has won the National Leauge Hank Aaron award. He also has a World Series ring from 2006. | JORDAN

21: At the end of the 2010 season he has averaged a batting average of 331. Pujols ranks among the top 50 leading home run hitters in MLB. He was selected by from 2000-2009 as the greatest player of the decade. Pujols was born on January 16,1980. Pujols has also hit 408 homeruns. | JORDAN

23: Richard I (the lion heart) was born on September 8, 1157. he rebelled against his father in 1173.

24: Jack the Ripper was a serial killer who was active in London in 1888. No one knows his real name. He is called Jack the Ripper because that is what it said in a letter written by someone claiming to be the murderer. The letter is believed to be a hoax by a wide variety of people. Rumors are that the killing increased in October and September. | Jack The Ripper

25: Jack the Ripper is heard to have 5 or more killings. Whitechapel murderer, and Leather Apron. The Conical Five were Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly. There were a large number of women killed in the same era by the same person. Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up amid violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, other social problems, and conflicts with other rappers during the East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry.Tupac Amaru Shakur was born on the East Harlem section of Manhattan in New York City.He was named after Túpac Amaru II.

28: Harry S. Truman was the 33rd president of the United States. He was born May 8,1884 and died December 26, 1972. He served in the WWI army as an artillery officer which made him the only president to have seen combat in WWI. After the war he was elected as county commissioner. Truman was the 34th vice president of the United States from January of 1945 to April of 1945. | Harry S. Truman

29: Truman was Missouri's Senator from 1935-1945. He was the president from 1945-1953. He didn't have a Vice President until 1949. His Vice President was Alben Barkley. He died in Kansas Missouri and aged 88. | Jordan
