1: Introduction Our book about famous people. There are three people in our group and each person wrote about five people.So there are 15 people that you can learn interesting information about. Dennis Conner Brian Marberry Kayla Briley

2: Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in in Württemberg, Germany. Six weeks after he moved to Munich, then not long after he began schooling at the Luitpold Gymnasium. In 1896 he entered the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich to be trained as a teacher in physics and mathematics.After World War II, Einstein was a leading figure in the World Government Movement, he was offered the Presidency of the State of Israel, which he declined, and he collaborated with Dr. Chaim Weizmann in establishing the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.At the start of his scientific work, Einstein realized the inadequacies of Newtonian mechanics and his special theory of relativity stemmed from an attempt to reconcile the laws of mechanics with the laws of the electromagnetic field.

3: After his retirement he continued to work towards the unification of the basic concepts of physics, taking the opposite approach, geometrisation, to the majority of physicists.

4: Bob Marley has gave the world amazing music that has been around nearly two decades. His music is still really popular today. Bob died in a Miami hospital on Monday May 11, 1981.On Thursday May 21, 1981, the Hon. Robert Nesta

5: Marley O.M. was given an official funeral by the people of Jamaica.Following the service - attended by both the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition - Marley's body was taken to his birthplace at Nine Mile, on the north of the island, where it now rests in a mausoleum. Bob Marley was 36-years-old. His legend, however, has conquered the years. Bob hurt a toe before and ended up giving him a disease. He fought the disease for eight months. At the beginning of May he left Germany for his Jamaican home but on the way he died.

6: Ben Franklin was one of the many Founding Fathers. Ben Franklin was a leading author and printer, politician, scientist, inventor, and a civic activist. As a scientist he was a major factor in the American Enlightenment and the History of Physics. He invented the lighting rod, bifocals, and the Franklin stove. He also formed the first public lending library in America, and the first Fire Department in Pennsylvania. Franklin arrived in Philadelphia on May 5, 1775, by that time American Revolution had already begun. The Pennsylvania Assembly chose Franklin as their delegate and then drafted the Declaration of Independence.

8: Adolf Hitler was half Jewish and half German. Hitler wanted to take over the world but he got greedy and tried to rule more than one continent at a time. Hitler was about 47 when he had died. so he was not that old. | Hitler was the founder and the leader of the Nazi party. At 6:30 PM April 20,1889 Hitler was born in a small Austrian village. Hitler killed a lot of people incloeding wemon and children. i an germen but i dont like what he did.

10: George wasn't born or raised in a wealthy family. He was born on February 22, 1732 in Virginia. George had 6 brothers. Not all full related and 1 sister. His other younger sister died when she was a baby. | Georges dad died when he was only eleven years old. Georges older half brother home schooled him for a little bit until the age of 15. His mom made him quit school because she could no longer afford it. After Georges mom made him quit school he got his first job as a surveyor. Later in life he was elected for first president. He had many important precedents for later presidents of the United States. George died on The fourteenth of December 1779.

12: George Washington Carver was born in 1864 near Diamond Grove, Missouri on the farm of Moses Carver. He was born when the civil war was about to end so there were some changing times for him. He began education at the age of twelve. For him to get education it required him leaving hos adoption parents. | He moved to Newton County in southwest Missouri, where he worked as a farm hand and studied in a one-room schoolhouse. He went on to attend Minneapolis High School in Kansas. At the age of thirty, Carver gained acceptance to Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, he

13: was the first black student there.Carver did not patent or profit from most of his products. He freely gave his discoveries to mankind.Most important was the fact that he changed the South from being a one-crop land of cotton, to being multi-crop farmlands, with farmers having hundreds of profitable uses for their new crops.

14: Marilyn Monroe's real name was Norma Jeane Mortson. She spent most of her childhood in foster homes and orphanages in 1942 she was wed to her 21 year old neighbor whom she had been dating for 6 months, being her age 16. | Soon after that, a photographer found Marilyn and she began taking pictures for Yank magazine. Then she began landing molding jobs. She then enrolled in drama classes. She then began to show up in many movies, and won Best New Actress of 1953. Marilyn Monroe was not just an actress or glamor queen, but a global sensation.

16: Ray Lewis is famous for the bull run. It is where he rushes the QB and smears him as you see in the picture. he is a very big guy in football. | Ray Lewis is also rated number 1 in the United States in the line backer position. In one season Ray Lewis has had 826 tackles and 32.0 precentage rate for his sacks. He also had 9 injurys in his hole sessoen and that is all.

18: Tony Hawk was born on May 12 1968 in San Diego, California. He was only 9 years old when his brother Steve gave him his first skateboard. Frank Hawk plays a big role as Tony progressed in skating. He was always driving him up and down the coasts for contests. By 12 Tony was already sponsored by a company called Dogtown Skateboards. By 14 he was already pro. Then by the age of 16 he was the best skater in the world! In April 1990 Tony married a girl named Cindy Dunbar. Then as skating started dying, and Tony's income was low Cindy and Tony divorced.He got married 2 other times in his life. In 1999 Activision and Tony created Tony Hawks Pro Skater video game for PlayStation. At age 31 he retired. All his goals for skating were completed as in doing the first 900,ollie 540, kickflip 540, and the varial 720. Tony didnt quit skating he just stopped competing.

20: Travis Pastrana is a motor sports competitor and a stunt performer, who has his own championships and X games. He has gold medals in many events including: motorcross, supercross , and freestyle motocross. Pastrana has won 2 motorcross racing championships. He also raced in the 2000 MX des Nations. e has always raced and competed on Suzuki motorcycles and remains loyal to this brand. All of his rally cars carry the number 199, he also sponsors a Monster Jam truck , Pastrana 199, and havs a show Nitro Circus. | Injuries come often when you have job like Travis. He is often out for weeks or months at a time. Some of his injuries include: dislocated spine, torn muscles, and many surgeries. | Travis also opened a rally. He began driving for Subaru in 2004 in the state if Vermont. Travis was very badly injured at age 14 while competing in an FMX competition.

22: Abraham Lincoln was an Illinois lawyer, who was famous for abolishing slavery. He persuaded many southern states to get rid of slavery before the time of his inauguration in 1861. The Civil War started about a month after that. He The Emancipation Proclamation put into issue which freed all slaves in 1863. He was 16th president of the United States.

23: Abraham Lincoln also gave a speech, the Gettysburg Address. This was one of the most quoted speeches he said," This country was not built in 1780 but in 1776 conceived in liberty and that all men are created equal, the deaths of soldiers would not be in vain, and that slavery was to end, because of their losses and that their democracy was to be assured, that government of the people, for the people, and by the people would not perish form this earth.

25: Nirvana has a lot of great albums and songs. The band started to hit it was 1989 and they had a full band. the singer/guitar is Kurt Cobain. and he died by the shotgun layed accrosed him. It was a sham that he had died they would be a millon dollar band i loved theyer music.

27: Dime bag Darrell died 2004 by an a raged fan and he was shot in the back of the head 5 times. will the murderer was leaving the security guard shot the a raged fan in the face with a shot gun. his death will always be remembered as the world greatest guitar player. He had a very strong relationship with the band and they were devistaited when he was killed on stage the band has not gotton to gather since the funeral. the band is no longer togather and now it is just a memory.

28: Molly Pitcher is a nickname given to a woman named Mary Ludwig Hays McCauley. She was thought to have served in the war, but that is not true. She served the mean fighting in the war water. She followed her husband into war, also know as war followers. She found water in a near by spring, fighters also needed water to cool down hot cannons.
