FC: The Great Depression

1: 1: First, considering the Great Depression; what started it. There are five causes. 1. The Stock Market Crash of 1929 2. Bank Failures 3. Reduction in Purchasing across the Board. 4. American Economic Policy with Europe 5. Drought conditions

3: Great Depression lasted from 1929-1939.

4: 2.25 million boys and girls from ages 10-18 worked in factories and on farms. Children even had to give up their education in school to help support their families.

5: Life during the depression was hard. There was many cases of unemployment and rural America suffered from this mostly.

7: Who was affected by the Great Depression? Mainly everyone. Adults...children..

9: World War II ended the Great Depression because with the desperate need for soldiers, pilots, and workers to make needed supplies it all contributed to the end of the Great Depression.
