 The Giver

Jonas is a kid in a so called perfect world. In this world everything is the same. There is no choice. It is all the same everything they can get the same is the same. Jonas thinks he is just he is a normal boy, until he is giving the most important thing in his life, this will change his life The Community’s lives and a little life forever. In the book Jonas is a 12 year old boy. He lives in a community that we would hate to live in. In this community everything is under strict rules. The book is nothing like our world. In this world they have no problems.

The end of the story is very different. I think that when he goes to the hill he meets another community at the bottom. The one from the dream. The Giver is probably in trouble because he knows where Jonas was. The book also started in December and it ended in December. I think that the reasoning for this is that at Christmas is the time to give and the book is about Jonas receiving, and The Giver giving. This is why I think the end, and also the start ends/starts in December. I also think that the old community does not have the knowledge, so there would no longer be a receiver/giver. I also think that the giver would probably go and get killed to go to Rosemary. But this is what I do not understand. In their world they do not have a believer. So how come he would say he would die and see her, if there is no religion. | Whats The End

In Jonas world there is no color. I think this is bad because this means that there would be no color code. Like the extension cords we made, the ground is green the black is bronze and the white is silver. So anything like this would not work. There would not be any sun, because the sun is orange. There would not be any plants or trees so I think that the oxygen would not be good. No color would also be good, because there would be less racism. I think that color is better. We went from no color to color TVs, same for all of the computers cameras and people them self in our school we have all colors if we were all one color we would not be as good | Where is the color

In the end Jonas runs. I think that running away is 50/50 it is bad and good. If he ever wants to come back he will be killed. If he never comes back he will miss the family. I think that running away is a good idea because if there is no risk in life it’s not much of a life. Jonas also took all of the memory’s so the community will not have any of the memory’s from Jonas. I do not know if the was a good idea or not. If I where Jonas I would leave, but the problem is you do not do not know if the way the memerys show it still happen because they are memory’s in the past. | Stay Here Of Be Free

I gave this book a 4/5/ I gave it this because it was not a book that I would read. when I am at home I sometimes just want to read a book but never this one. I had to force myself to read it. The book is definitely interesting and I think that the book would be a better book for someone else because I read books about zombies not this. So I am the odd one out for books, and the book is a world that is so interesting because because it is so different from us. I gave this book a 4/5 stars.
