FC: You know you wanna. . . | Plan a spring project with the library! From research to creative presentation ideas, we’d love to work with you.

 Ideas to get you thinking

Stations – in small groups, students move around the library learning about different aspects of a topic such as the Industrial Revolution. At each station they read/watch/find information, think, and respond.

Research papers with a twist – we love to do cross-curricular research. Why not learn about history through art, or language through drama?

Fight death by Power Point – we can help you plan creative oral presentations. We’ve turned students into tour guides, newscasters, trial lawyers, FBI agents, and historical storytellers.

Get techy – Want to use mixbook, toondoo, go animate, zooburst, or something similar? We can help you pair a research idea with a web 2.0 end product.

Want to get back to basics? – We’re happy to facilitate some traditional library learning through book check out, book talks, pulling resources, or teaching lessons on copyright, plagiarism, search strategies, annotations, citations, and more.

Like these ideas? | Have something else in mind?

We'd love to hear from you!
