1: The Alto Sax is a wood wind instrument. It plays different notes. | A is for Alto Sax.
2: B is for bass drum. | The bass drum is a big deep drum. The bass drum makes a low sound.
3: C is for cymbals. | The cymbals make a really loud crash noise when you hit them together.
4: The drum set has many different drums and cymbals. They can be played together or at different times to make different beats. | D is for Drum set.
5: E is for Electric piano. | The electric piano has many different keys and pitches. It can be played to make different songs.
6: F is for French Horn. | The French Horn has a very high pitch. Its a brass instrument.
7: G is for guitar. | The guitar is a string instrument that you use to play lots of songs.
8: H is for Hand Drum. | You play the hand drum with a mallet or your hands. When you hit the hand drum in different places it makes different pitches.
9: I is for Irish Pipes. | The Irish Pipes are like bag pipes. The Irish pipes are wind instruments.
10: J is for Jawbone. | jawbone is usually a donkeys jaw with loose teeth that when struck makes a rattling sound.
11: K is for keyboard. | The keyboard is an electric piano. You can play different pitches and songs.
12: L is for lithophone. | The lithophone is a musical instrument that consists of different sized rocks. When struck with a mallet it makes different pitches.
13: M is for maraca. | The maraca is an instrument that you shake. It belongs to the percussion.
14: N is for nose flute. | The nose flute is played with your nose.
15: O is for oboe. | oboe is a woodwind instrument. The oboe is played with a reed.
16: P is for piccolo. | The piccolo is a tiny flute. The piccolo as a high pitched sound.
17: Q is for quads. | The quads are different sized that are played together. Each one has a different pitch.
18: R is for recorder. | The recorder is like a small clarinet. You blow air into the recorder.
19: S is for snare drum. | The snare drum is played with sticks. You tap the sticks on the top of the snare. The snare drum makes a banging noise.
20: T is for timpani. | The timpani are big and low pitched drums. The timpani makes a dong, bang, dong noise when you hit it. You play the timpani with soft mallets.
21: U is for ukulele. | The ukulele is a small string instrument. It has four strings and looks like a small guitar.
22: V is for violin. | You play the violin with a wooden bow. The wooden bow has horse hair on it that you slide across the strings.
23: W is for whip. | The whip is two pieces of wood that you slap together to make a loud cracking noise.
24: X is for xylophone. | The xylophone is a big wooden set of bells.
25: Yazheng is a Chinese string instrument. | Y is for yazheng.
26: Z is for zill. | The zill are also known as finger cymbals. You hit them together and it makes a small ting noise.
