BC: Created with love for all my grandchildren. Nancy Grochmal 2012
Each morning I open, my eyes and AWAKE. Play games and have fun, with the new friends I make. | Please don't make loud noises, not even a peep. Be quiet, the baby, is finally ASLEEP.
Enjoying the sunshine, just splashing away. Giggling with my sister, on a bright SUMMER'S day.
WINTER means snowflakes, my nose gets all rosy. Hot cocoa with marshmallows, makes me feel cozy.
I don't understand it, I get MESSY a lot. I thought I was careful, but my face shows I'm not! | Get CLEAN in the tub, we're all stinky and smelly. Wash all of your arms and legs, even your belly. | Rub A Dub Dub
My face is so HAPPY, when I play all day long. I run and I laugh, and I sing silly songs. | Sometimes I have days, that are not happy or funny. When I get really SAD, my eyes leak and nose runny.
Hair can be CURLY, like slides and like noodles. Like ribbons on presents, like fur on a poodle. | Hair can be STRAIGHT, like a pencil or tree. Like the stick of a popsicle, that mom has for me.
Sometimes a QUIET day, is just what I need. I color a picture, I draw and I read. | I shout and I holler, and scream right out LOUD. Dad says I'm the loudest, I can see that he's proud.
Together we walk, hand in hand at the zoo. Two sisters, one brother, that makes just a FEW. | Grandparents and parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Too MANY to count, there are dozens and dozens.
Green grass on my toes, and the sun on my face. OUTSIDE is my favorite, kind of place. | INSIDE my own house, I am safe from the bugs. I stay close to mommy, for smooches and hugs.
I walk FAR in the woods, you can hardly see me. I look very small, next to that giant oak tree. | My eyes and my face, are as big as can be. I'm NEAR that is why, you can't see all of me.
I SIT on my horse, he does not gallop or whinny. He barks, chews on bones, and he's not at all skinny! | I STAND in the middle, bubbles dance all around. I chase them and catch them, as they gently float down.
I stuck OUT my tongue, and blew bubbles galore. From under the water, there came a few more. PEW!
So peacefully sleeping, IN my own little bed. Now I'm in a basket, a pink bow on my head.
UNDER the table, we're hiding you see. Someone spilled their milk, and mom's looking for me. Oops! | Climbing on TOP, I find something to eat. It looked pretty good, but it tasted like feet!
Laughing and squealing, I swing way up high. Another big PUSH, and I'll be touching the sky. Being PULLED in the wagon, the yard we explore. "Oh please don't stop now, we want to ride more!"
Tiny babies so cuddly, so cute, what a pair. With arms wrapped TOGETHER, they share one little chair.
"You can't catch me, I'm too fast for you!" APART we play games, such a fun thing to do.
Happy Halloween | This orange is too HEAVY, I can't pick it up. It must have gallons of juice, will it fit in my cup? | My pumpkin is LIGHT, and so easy to carry. On Halloween night, it will be spooky and scary.
The hose gets me WET, from my head to my toes. Water drips off my fingers, and even my nose. The DRY sand is comfy, a nice bed for me. "Hey look way up high, there's a squirrel in that tree."
