BC: Physics is a way of life.

FC: The science that deals with matter, energy, motion, and force. | Physics

These pictures show an example of a baby at rest. | Rest is a relaxation from exertion or labour. When you are at rest you are not moving.

 http://www.talkdecor.com/ceiling-fans/12-princess-ceiling-fan/

A ceiling fan uses circular motion to spin. Without circular motion there would be no air coming from this fan.

Say Cheese! | These glasses are an example of converging lens. Converging lens in the front of lens bend at the focal point.

T | Batteries are used to give different types of electronics power or energy.

When a straw is placed in a glass it bends. This is an example of refraction. Refraction is the bending of a wave when it passes through its medium.

Distance is used for measurement. Rulers are measured in inches and centimeters. | Meter sticks are used to see how long or how far apart something is.

Potential & Kinetic | Potential energy is energy stored when an object has reached its highest height. This baby has reached his highest potential while at the top of a slide.

Kinetic energy is the energy of motion. The baby is at his maximum form of motion.

The boiling point for a liquid is 100 degrees Celsius

These four eggs are in water that has reached its boiling point.

An image is reflected onto the mirror through reflection.

A mirror is one major form of reflection.

Sound come from sound waves. | The radio uses sound waves to play music through the speaker.

This picture shows a car that is not accelerating

Acceleration is used for speed. With acceleration you know how fast you are moving.

Time is used on a daily basis. Without it how would we move through the day?

Electricity will always be need. Whether you need it for light or for electronics.

A light bulb is powered by circuits. Without a circuit in a light bulb you would have no lamp.

Buoyancy is the power to float or rise in a fluid. The scuba diver uses an oxygen tank to help create buoyancy.

A scale is used to determine how much an object weights. Weight can be measured in pounds (lbs) or grams (g).

Say Cheese! | Opposites definitely attract in this picture. | Using a magnetic field these magnets attract to the board.

A magnifying glass is used to enlarge small items. Magnifying glasses are made of converging lens.

Rubber bands are made of elastic. Elastic makes is used to make things stretch and hold things tightly together.

Springs are used in pens and remotes.

Springs are used to compress objects.

These pictures show children applying force to chairs | Force is the strength or power exerted on an object.
