1: How it Started | Richard Paul Evans wrote his first book, The Christmas Box as a Christmas present for his daughters to show how much he loved them. His daughters loved it so much that he made 20 more copies to give as Christmas presents for his close friends and relatives. The book was passed around hundreds of times and it got | so popular that local bookstores were calling to see if they could get their hands on a copy.

2: The Christmas Box | The Christmas Box soon became published and became the top hardback and paperback book. Over 8 million copies of TCB have been produced and translated into many languages. A CBS television movie was made based on The | Christmas Box and has won an Emmy Award.

3: Jobs | Richard took on many jobs before becoming a full time writer. Before, he was an advertising executive. He's even been an award winning clay animator for Japan and American markets and he's even been a candidate of | Utah's state legislature.

4: Achievements | Evans became such a successful writer that he wrote ten books consecutively that made the New York Times' Best Sellers list. Evans is also one of the very few authors that to have a non-fiction and fiction book on the New York Times' Best Sellers list. | Best Sellers List

5: Richard currently has 26 books published and 18 of them have appeared on the New York Time's Best Seller's List. He has over 18 million books in print and counting. | Achievements

6: Achievements | Richard's books have been translated into more than 25 languages and some of which had been international best sellers.

7: Awards | Richard has won many different awards for writing his stories. He has won the American Mother's Book Award, the Romantic Time's Award and the Story Telling Award two times already!

8: Richard has also received the Washington Time's Humanitarian Award and the Volunteer's of America Nation Empathy award for helping abused children with his charity. | Awards

10: Personal Life | Richard Paul Evans currently lives in Salt Lake City which is located in Utah. He is living with his wife, Keri Evans and his five children.

11: The Christmas box House | Richard founded the Christmas Box House International in 1997. It's a foster home that provides a home for neglected and abused children

12: The Christmas box House | Three Christmas Box Houses have been built so far, all of which have been located in Utah. They hope to develop international relations to help children worldwide.

13: aPPearances | Richard has made many public appearances with famous individuals, such as the President and the Pope. He was also featured on many talk shows such as the Today show.

16: Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25 | Michael Vey is a 14 year old teenager that has Tourette's Syndrome. He also has special electrical powers that only his mom and his best friend, Ostin, knows about. He can kill a fully grown man by grabbing him and "surging." However, everything changed when he met Taylor at school.

17: Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25 | He meets a cheerleader at school named Taylor who also has electrical powers. She can read peoples' minds by touching them and "booting" people to make them forget what they're doing. They did some research together and found that someone is hunting them down and have been looking for kids like them for years. Only later do they discover it was a trap.

18: Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25 | They get captured by a group of people and Michael's mom is taken away. Taylor was captured and taken away to a facility in Pasadena, California where she met her twin sister. There in the facility, she lived a luxurious and wealthy life and could get things that only normal people could dream about. However, when Taylor refuses an order from the mastermind, Dr. Hatch, she is punished severely. Only then does she realize the place is abusing their powers.

19: Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25 | Michael, Ostin and two of his friends drove to California all the way from Ohio to save Taylor. But by then, Taylor realized that Dr. Hatch as evil and used the electric kids for financial gain. Such as threatening an airline to take a plane down unless they paid them a certain amount. Michael and Taylor rise up in revolt against the facility and you'll have to read to see what happens.
