FC: The Earth, Moon, The Sun and the solar system | By: Marcio Sierra

The Earth | Earth Seen from Space | Earth Seen from The Moon

Earth | Earth as we know it, is the only planet suitable for life. It current distance from Earth gives it a perfect climate for life to be Formed. It Atmosphere protects it from Meteors and packs up the oxygen without letting it escape to Space.

Earth's creation | As scientists know and think, Earth was created during The Big Bang. The Big Bang is the explosion by which all elements, molecules, and galaxies were formed. Earth was formed in a process called accretion. | Earth is located in the solar system, which is located in the milky Way Galaxy. It is the Third planet from the sun, where it is located in the Inner Planets. | The Solar System

 The Moon

The Moon | The Moon is The Earth's only Natural Satellite. It is a Chunk of Rock that orbits our planet in 29.5 days and has a diameter of 2,161 miles. It is at a distance of 238,900 miles away from Earth. It Surprisingly Orbits Earth at 2,237 mph, fast enough to fly over the United States in just one hour.

The Moon's Creation | Many theories are held over the topic of the moon's creation. the most reliable is the possibility of an asteroid the size of Mars striked newly Formed Earth, taking over 1/6 of EArth. These pieces of rock started orbiting Earth and later turned into the moon as we know it.

The Phases of The Moon | New Moon | Waxing Crescent

 First Quarter | Waxing Gibbous

 Full Moon | Waning Gibbous

 Third Quarter | Waning Crescent

APollo 11 | Commanded by Neil Armstrong, accompanied by Micheal COllins, and "Buzz" Aldren, where the first human beings to land on the mOon in 1969.

 The Sun

THe Sun, also known as a hot ball of fire whose surface temperature is about 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Its Diameter is 865,059 miles, or 113 Earths aligned up together. The Sun is said to have 5 billion years, halfway through its life. | The Sun

Heat Creation | Heat is created threw chemical reactions where Atoms get squeezed out producing energy and heat. | Location | Our Sun is located in the Solar system, which is part of the Milky Way Galaxy. It is a Medium-sized sun.

 The Solar System

The Inner Planets | Mercury | MErcury is the closest planet from the sun, which rotates from 57 910 000 km from the Sun. It is The second largest planet in The solar system. It takes 88 days for it to Orbit around the Sun, and 1 rotation per 2 years.

Venus | Venus, the second closest planet and the Fourth smallest planet has the hottest atmosphere. It is so hot that the NASA sent a probe, that melt while entering Venus' hot atmosphere. Its atmosphere is so hot because of presence of high amounts of co2, 862 degrees Fahrenheit.

Earth | Earth is our home, the only place suitable for life and at a correct distance from the Sun. It takes 365 days for a complete orbit around the sun, and 24 hours or 1 day around its axis.

Mars | MArs is the closest planet to Earth. It is the 7th planet in size. -64 is the average surface temperature for Mars. It is said that life was once habited by microbial life. It is also said that their are rocks in forms of faces and pyramids.

The Outer Planets | Jupiter | Jupiter is the biggest planet in the Solar system. Even dough the biggest it has a low density. It is so low that it could float in a pool of water. It has about 60 confirmed moons orbiting Jupiter. iO is the object with the most volcanic activity in the Solar System. Europe is said to have liquid oceans under its icy crust.

SAturn is the second largest planet, and the 6th in least distance from the Sun. Saturn is a planet made of gas like JupiterIt has over 60 moons, but not more than Jupiter. It's biggest moon is Titan. Saturn is surrounded by rings made of icy chunks of rocks.

Uranus | Uranus is the 7th planet of the solar System. It is only made of gas and a solid core just like Jupiter and Saturn. Surprisingly it is tilted 180 degrees on its axis. It also has rings around its body. Uranus possess over 27 known moons.

Neptune, the 8th planet is mostly made of gas. Surprisingly Neptune has Planetary Rings, which are not to easy to sight. It has 13 known moons, being Triton the Largest.

Pluto | Pluto, the smallest planet in the Solar System is the 9th planet. It is so small that it is considered a dwarf planet. It is said to have a moon, Charon.
