BC: These people just disappeared one day... and no one has ever seen them again.

1: This is what the Cliff Dweller Indians may have looked like. | 1

2: The ruins of a cliff dwelling. | 2

3: This may have been the type of clothing that they wore. They made their clothing out of animal skins and fur. | 3

4: They ate buffalo, rabbit, mice, rats, and soup made out of boiled buffalo urine.(Yuck!) | 4

5: They were skilled at growing corn! | 5

6: These are ancient artifacts from the cliff dwellers! | There are bowls, scrapers, cloth, poles, cups, and more! | 6

7: This is petroglyph writing! | 7

9: These are pictographs! | There is a man and a dragon. | 9

10: This is a cliff dweller's clothes in the summer. | They wore little clothing most of the time. | 10

11: It's very hot where they lived so they usually didn't dress like this. | 11

12: The Anasazi were very talented when it came to making homes! | 12

13: They made their homes very special when they made them. | A trick that they did was they took a ladder up to their doors at night so the burglars couldn't get into their houses. The door would be secure too! | 13

14: The Anasazi were gifted with many talents. | 14

15: The cliff dwellers were probably very peaceful! | 15

16: This is where they lived. They had permanent homes. | 16

17: They might have lived in part of California too. | 17
