Destiny Samuels is a 9th grade student at Oxford High School. She enjoys shopping, sports and going out to eat. When it comes to writing Destiny likes to write about anything that interests her whether its sports or school. Destiny finds the most challenging part of writing to be is sometimes finding something to even write about. When Destiny gets older, she hopes to be a neonatal nurse. Her advice for students that will be entering the 9th grade next year is never quit working no matter how hard or how challenging the classes might be. Just keep working as hard as you can. | About The Author

 City Overview

Now that I have graduated I plan to move to Birmingham, Alabama. | I chose to live in this city because it has the college that I want to attend. | This city is located in Alabama. | The overall population of this city is 212,038. | It is close to Hoover, Tuscaloosa, & Gadsden. | The primary forms of entertainment in this city are Airwalk Trampoline Area & The McWayne Science Center. | Most people in this city work in the manufacturing industry. | Crime in this city is high.

 Standard Living

I am going to live at Woodmere Creek Apartments. | The rent for this apartment is $791.50. | I don't need to pay any deposits or any fees in order to live in this apartment | Some features of this apartment are a Dishwasher, Built-in-Microwave, Pool, Storage, & a Patio. | Other bills that I will need to pay each month will include phone, cable, & water.

 Household Items

The apartment that I chose came equipped with a refrigerator & stove. | Therefore I had to purchase a washer, bed, & a dresser. | With the assistance of my graduation money, I was able to buy a lot more things. | This amount gave me additional money for the month. | The majority of the funds were sent on a car. | Some of my priorities in furnishing my apartment was that I wanted it to look good.
