Well, now you know the TRUE story of Hansel and Gretel. | THE END

FC: The True Story of Hansel and Gretel | By: Madison Tramel

1: Once upon a time a very long time ago, there was a little old house in the middle of the forest. It was a special house because it was made completely out of candy! It was my house, sweet and beautiful. I lived in that house happily for 3 years until Hansel and Gretel came along.

2: It started off as a normal day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and there was a light snow falling. Then, I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door and two hideous children were standing there. They were dirty and their clothes were torn. There was a girl named Gretel and a boy named Hansel. Gretel had gray eyes and messy black hair, and her brother Hansel had bright red eyes! They were lost in the forest, so I invited them in to spend the night. I cooked them a nice dinner, and made them a soft place to sleep. They stayed with me for 3 whole days and we still had not found their parents!

3: Then one morning when I was cooking them breakfast, the evil children locked me in a chicken coop outside my own house! "Why did you do this?", I asked. You will never believe what the children answered. They said, "Because we want to kill you so we can live in this house made of candy all by ourselves!" What greedy little children they were. Well, they locked me in the pen for 3 whole days waiting for me to starve to death!

4: Although the children were evil, they weren't the smartest kids ever. They forgot that my house was made out of candy! I found a long chicken bone on the floor, and poked off a piece of candy when they weren't looking, and that is how I survived. Since I still hadn't starved after 3 days, the children got very impatient and angry. Hansel got so angry that his whole face turned red, which matched his devilish eyes quite well.

5: Well, those two children had another idea. They decided to throw me in the oven! The very same oven I had used to cook their meals for the last few days! I tried to fight back, but they were too strong. I was old and weak, so they threw me into my own oven! Sadly, I burned to death.
