Myfamily is a huge influence. My grandparents and my aunts were always especially involved; they've always taught me to have fun and love your family no matter what.
I've had plenty of teachers I've greatly enjoyed, and it's mostly thanks to them that I'm going to college for a teaching degree. | Living in the middle of nowhere, I never had many neighbours, so all of my friends I met at school.
Sensation and Perception I've worn glasses since second grade, and my balance has never been good, but my other senses have always been perfectly fine. As for taste, I love sugar, but don't come near me with peas! (The picture is a view from my living room window that I love since I can see so far.)
I love optical illusions, and I really like this one since it's two-in-one--not only do the circles look like they're moving, they also look curvy.
Learning Concerning social and observational learning, my friends and family have always been major influences in my life. Classical Conditioning: Getting a small toy every time we went to the store. Operant Conditioning: Taking medicine in exchange for a mini Reese's Cup.
Memory Most of my earliest memories involve my grandparents because I spent so much time at their house while my mother worked. I also remember 9-11 when I was in fifth grade, the same year Livin' La Vida Loca, Britney Spears, and boy boands were all the rage, although I was more into Country music then. | Elementary School: I remember having only a few good friends as a kid, and I also remember liking all but one of my teachers. I had several pets: Trixie the rabbit, Holly the dog, Dodger the rabbit, and Shadow the rabbit.
I met most of my current friends in middle and junior high school. My three closest friends I met over three years: Megan in seventh, Katy in eighth, and Lauren in ninth. Some of my favourite memories involve crazy sleep-overs that never included sleep and parties that found us on midnight walks around the neighbourhoods. There have been some bad times, but we've always helped each other through them. Of course, I've always needed the most help. | I remember getting my first cat in eight grade; I was so excited, I took tons of pictures of him and showed them to all my friends. He died two years later, much to my depression, and now one of my fondest memories is of coming home the night before Christmas Eve and finding a kitten waiting for me!
Intelligence Individual Intelligence: Spatial Intrapersonal Linguistic I do very well at language-related subjects and creative subjects, such as Art and Photography. While I can do well at mathematical courses, I find little point or enjoyment in many of the areas and quickly lose interest. I often have a short attention span and therefore do poorly in classes where I am bored. Despite my recent poor grades, I have always scored high in PSSA's, placing myself in the 99th percentile consistently in elementary and middle school and earned scores well over 1800 both times I took my SAT's.
Future In three years, I plan to be almost through college, have a steady relationship, and be on my way to finishing writing a novel. When I'm forty, I plan to be living in Ireland or Hawaii, possibly getting one child through high school, and having at least one or two novels published. Ambitious, but a girl can dream.
