FC: To Kill A Mockingbird Mixbook | SCOUT | Danny Gorham Michal Swepson | Austin Warner Natasha Sanders
Hey , the name`s Jean Louise, but most people call me scout!
Items in the 1930's differed with someones wealthiness | Pocket Watches were extremely common with the gentlemen who were fortunate enough to afford one. | The dresses worn by women were typically plain, long, and unrevealing. There was no such thing as pencil skirts and mid-thigh short skirts.
Stoves were less energy efficient and some only got up to 350 degrees! | Bubble Gum was extremely popular among the younger kids. | Indian Heard coins were common around Maycomb especially around 1933 when the mass production average went up
Things I hate! | I really DONT like make-up | I only dress up when I'm around Auntie and all the ladies. | Aunt Alexandra made me so mad back then!
Things I love!! :) | Guys clothes are so comfortable!! | The air rifle Atticus got me was the best gift ever!
Letters to my Romeo <3 | Dill is my boy, one day we're gonna get hitched!
Isn't he just adorable!? | I miss the warm summers with dill and Jem | Atticus helped me write and spell
It was like a movie when ... | Atticus was in court | I was talking to boo | Mrs. Maudie's house burned down
I found out Attcus was a crackshot! | Tom Robinson tried to escape :( | My School play
This is my house right up yonder. Me, Jem, and my father Atticus live in this tiny place we call home. We live in a little town called Maycomb in Alabama.
My Journal | Dill ran away from home, just to come see me. That was the nicest thing anyone has ever done did for me. Jem went and told Atticus about Dill hiding under the bed. He makes my skin crawl sometimes. Jem is acting different, and everybody else is too. This little ole' town is getting weirder and weirder each day. Sometimes I feel like Dill is the only one I can count on. Maybe he should have been my brother.....
"Dill blushed and Jem told me to hush, a sure sign that Dill had been studied and found acceptable." | "Jem and I viewed Christmas with mixed emotions" | "When I appeared in the doorway, Aunty would look as if she regretted her request. I was usually mud-splashed or covered with sand."
The summer had a lot of fun-filled events, including "The Tire Roll"
 People I love!!
Important Places to me | The church we go to when Atticus is gone on Sundays | This is where Jem, Dill, and I love to play after school!
The court house is where i witnessed the unfair treatment of Tim Robinson | The Kitchen where Cal cooks all of our meals | This is the front porch swing where Atticus and I read
Food | Crackling bread is one of my favorite! | Calpurnia is the BEST cook EVER! She makes everything taste delicious. | Lane cake is the most delicious desert anyone can have
We sometimes had Dewberry tarts for special occasions | Pork and beans are delish...Just don't pour too molasses on it (Walter) | Pigs feet- May not sound good, but sure does taste good!
My Favorite Areas to Play | Sometimes, I enjoy playing in Miss Maudie's yard, Her yard is complimented by the prettiest flowers. Often, I like using our own backyard to construct forts or play games. Our backyard is open enough for us to enjoy whatever activity we choose. I used to have lots of fun going to The Radley's yard to place different objects and look for different toys.
What I usually take to school with me | My lunch box usually consists of a water that Atticus will pack me and small fruits. Twice a week, he'll pack me a ham sandwich with peeled crusts also. | My folders in my backpack help me choose and place my papers in and from the right areas. They're very helpful. | I always make sure to carry one of the letters Dill has sent me to school. It usually helps me get through each day, knowing we'll be married and I know that he's there for me, even if he's not in town.
