1: The UNCF HBCU Empower Me Tour was held on Saturday, June 4th at Hunter College in New York City.


5: HBCUs, Hunter College, Wells Fargo, the NYC Department of Education and many community organizations were represented in the Tour Zone.

6: Gates Millennium Scholars Program | Hundreds of students and parents received information on GMS, which will select 1,000 talented students to receive a good-through graduation scholarship at the college of their choice.

11: Hundreds of young women eagerly listened to celebrities Tatyana Ali, Ledisi, Kim Coles, Monique Jackson, and Kita Williams as they discussed self esteem, relationships, education and setting goals. The session began with an image presentation by JIVE SVP of Marketing, Lisa Cambridge-Mitchell.

32: Nearly 100 Empower Me Tour attendees participated in an online survey: | 95.7% would attend again | 96.8% would recommend to a friend

34: To whom it may concern, I attended the conference with my 14 year old son and it was absolutely fabulous. I truly did not expect to experience all of the amazing workshops and activities we were exposed to. Will we be automatically informed about next year's conference?
