Shooting Challenges 10. Journal Response 11. Photomontage Photography this semester has been very interesting and informative and has helped me to grow as a photographer.
2: Elements of Composition Our first assignment was to find pictures that displayed the 9 elements of composition. These elements are: Angle Diagonal Line Framing Fill the Frame Control background Pattern Compare and Contrast Rule of Thirds Depth | Diagonal lines

4: Elements and Principles of Design After we did the Elements of Composition we split into groups, took our composition photographs and mixed them together to create abstract art.
5: This abstract art is compromised of rule of thirds, fill the frame, and diagonal lines. | This abstract art is comprised of all the angles, pattern and diagonal line photograph.
6: Depth of Field Next we did Depth of Field which is all about what parts of the photograph are in focus or not
7: Shallow Depth of Field | Greater Depth of Field
8: Shutter Field and Exposure The next project we did was to create a short comic story about something. I chose to make mine about a day in the life of my dog, Maggie.
10: Famous Photographer We looked at famous photographers who had an impact on the field of photography. I choose to look at a man by the name of Eugene Atget the father of Modern Photography.
12: Portraiture In this assignment we had to take pictures of groups and singles and try to convey an emotion or feeling through the photograph.
14: Macro This assignment was all about focusing on the tiny details and seeing objects up close | This photograph was used for my formal critique
16: Still Life This was the last assignment we did. This assignment had us arranging and photographing items that fit different elements and principles of composition.
18: Shooting Challenges Throughout the semester we have had challenges in which we must take a photograph following a theme for the week.
19: Bullying Bullying was the second shooting challenge we had done. I chose a stick an stone to represent the well known saying sticks and stones.
20: This shooting challenge was the second one we did and we had to take a picture that we could put lyrics to. I chose a song from the Fox and the Hound called Best of Friends. The picture is of Harpreet and Myself with out arms around each other's shoulders
21: This shooting challenge was called photographer look-a-like and we had to take a picture that resembled a picture that the photographer we researched took
22: This picture was my Your Choice Shooting Challenge photograph. It displays rule of thirds, contrast, movement and lines.
23: Photo Montage a photo montage is compilation of multiple photos or bits and pieces of one photograph. My photo montage is of a bird's nest
