FC: Four legs good, two legs bad, should I care? | Benjamin's Journal | CLaire Baisley

August 27th 1945 | It's August 27th 1945, and I am currently in England on Mr.Jone's Farm. Life is descent and I have lived a long life. I'm the oldest here. Many animals on the farm believe that I can be cynical at times. I won't lie I am because honestly I don't care about anyone or thing. I always say that god gave me a tail to keep the flies off. No one on this old, rusty farm have seen me laugh. It's hard to laugh when there is nothing funny to laugh at. I don't have any friends on the farm except boxer, well kind of. We always spend our Sundays together. Boxer and I like hanging out by the paddock past the orchard. We don't speak ,but it still is the thing I look forward to every week. Don't tell anybody though. Ugh running out of ink. I have to go

Diary, IT's been so long since I've had any food. Every animal is going to starve! We are planning on breaking into the cowshed. This will show Mr.Jones that we have had enough of him and that we don't need him to live! | NO FOOD! NOT OKAY!

HELP! The other animals and I grabbed food from the cowshed and now are being chased. There are four whips and men. They are lashing out at us. But, we are going to kick and fight back. I have to go -Benjamin

Diary, I have fantastic news! We won the battle. Snowball and my dear friend Boxer lead the battle! They both got the Animal hero, first class award. Honestly I don't care. We ran Jones off the farm and now Animalism is in place! There is talk of a windmill going to be built in order to get energy. I think it is a waste of effort and time. But, I don't want to engage in a fight with Napoleon. No one does. He is starting to get a little power crazy. Oh well. I will talk to you soon -Benjamin

The Seven Commandments | 1. whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy 2. whatever goes upon two four legs, or has wings, is a friend 3.no animal shall wear clothes 4.No animal shall sleep in a bed 5.No Animal shall drink alcohol 6.No animal shall kill any other animal 7.All animals are equal

Diary, Nine new puppies were born a couple days ago. Great news...not really. Snowball disagreed with Napoleon over something stupid and Napoleon made the puppies chase Snowball off the farm. Napoleon is taking over and it's not ok. I don't want to cause trouble. So, I'll keep my mouth shut. But, something fishy is going on. In fact I think Napoleon is changing commandments. One of the commandments said "whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy" and he change it into "Four legs good, two legs bad." I'm fine with it although last time I checked Snowball had four legs! I don't want to go up against Napoleon. So, I wont say a word. -Benjamin

Diary, I know it's been a long time since I have wrote. It's been a long time because I have been so busy building the windmill. All the animals are tired. We don't get much food because the pigs "work so hard and need more food" Yeah right. Not true at all. In fact Napoleon barely helps. Boxer is the one working the hardest! He needs to stop working so hard. You know a horses lungs don't work forever.

All that hard work for nothing! The chickens gave up there eggs, cows gave up their milk to help with the building of the windmill and it falls over. Well at least I think it fell. Napoleon blames Snowball. Napoleon is telling big lies and I don't like it one bit! -Napoleon

I knew Boxer's lungs one day would fail. And sadly that day came today. He worked to hard. His motto was always "I will work harder". Napoleon called the hospital or so he said. I saw the truck pick him up and on the siding of the trucker I read the words Knacker. My old body couldn't run after the truck ,but I had the animals help. I told them to shut the gate. I screamed to Boxer and told him to escape. It was too late. That was the last of Boxer, but Napoleon hasn't heard the last from me. -Benjamin

 Memories

When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. -Joyce Brothers

"A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty."

"I'm so lucky as can be, the world's greatest Dad belongs to me."

"Cherish your yesterdays, dream about tomorrow but live for today"

Happy Father's Day Dad!! | "The family is one of nature's masterpieces." -George Santayana
