FC: Kadidrah L. Lewis | Class of 2012
1: Don't Quit When things go wrong as they sometimes will; When the road you're trudging seems all uphill When the funds are low, and the debts are high And you want to smile, but have to sigh; When care is pressing you down a bit- Rest if you must, but do not quit. Success is failure turned inside out; The silver tint of the clouds of doubt; And you can never tell how close you are It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit- It's when things go wrong that you must not quit.
2: Congratulations and happy 18th birthday to my first born Ms. Kadidrah DaQueen Lewis. Whom I am extremely proud of and I know that you are going to succeed in all that you set your mind to do. You've worked hard and today your hard work has paid off. Time seems to fly by so quickly when you're having fun. It has been a joy watching you from day one since May 10, 1994. Combing in your hair everyday and dressing you up like a baby doll all the way until now as you've matured into a beautiful, smart and intelligent young lady. No matter how successful you become, never forget where you came from. There is still so much that lies before you. Be anxious for nothing. Take life step by step and day by day. Praying always and trusting God that He knows what He's doing even when you don't understand what He's doing and when times get hard, cause they will. Always remember that God is able to keep you from falling and help you through every test you will ever take. Never let anyone tell you that you can't make it cause you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. Always live up to your name in spite of what you're called. 16: Auntie Shonda | It seems like yesterday, when I held you in my arms and cried because I didn't want to leave you! Even though I wasn't around all the time, that didn't make me love you any less. You have grown up to be such a beautiful young lady with such a sweet spirit. Whatever career path you decide to take, just make sure YOU are happy. Nothing worth having is going to come easy. But you will be more appreciative of the things you work hard for. I want to see you achieve goals that no one in our family has. I know you will make us proud. I love you. Happy Birthday and Congratulations graduate!
18: Aunt Mona | When I saw you for the first time, I was amazed at how perfect you were. You were the cutest thing I'd ever laid eyes on. It has been pure bliss watching you grow into a beautiful young lady. I cherish each moment I've spent with you; our outings, laughter, girl talks, and arguments have all been worthwhile. It's somewhat bitter sweet because I won't see you everyday. I won't be able to fuss at you for borrowing my things and not returning them. I won't have anybody to sample my new recipes, to keep my rugrats, or laugh at me while me and Uncle Josh brawl. I'm happy that you're moving forward in life and I wish you great success. I hope you've learned enough from me, to not make the same mistakes. I hope i've given you enough humorous advice to aid you as you travel the road to a prosperous future. I'm extremely proud of you and i'm overjoyed to say that you are my niece. I love you and best wishes!
19: I'm very proud of you and i'm saddened to see you go. You can stay if you would like (lol), but since you can't, I truly understand. I appreciate the time you have given me, and how you've never judged me. You've accepted me with open arms. I truly appreciate that. If you ever need me, don't hesitate to ask. Even though we've just started to bond, I look for many more years for our relationship to grow. | Best Wishes, Uncle Josh
