FC: Our Wedding Day Story July 30, 2010

The day began at St. Michael's Catholic church in Grand Forks. The ladies and I spent the morning getting beautified in the bride's room, while swapping stories and laughing. We were so excited! | I felt just like Cinderella, except Tiffany put my shoe on instead of my prince.

By noon, we were all dolled up and ready to head upstairs. It was time to see my groom!

While I walked down the aisle toward David, I felt so anxious. When he turned around he said "you look beautful"

After seeing my handsome groom for the first time that day, we all made our way to University Park to take our first round of photos. Weren't we an awesome looking bridal party!

It was a great day to take outdoor pictures. There was a bit of overcast due to the little bit of rain we got that morning. It was slightly humid, but not too bad...but that didn't keep the guys from complaining about being warm in their tuxes.

The guys looked studly, especially Mr. Boura The groomsmen were Keith Strang, Cody Severson, Patrick Such, and Adam Kohler

The pink ladies and I were stunning! The bridesmaids were Katie Cheng, Tiffany Severson, Alex Martin, and Kim Santangelo

We were so excited that the big day had finally arrived

After an hour in the park, we headed back to the church for round two of pictures, but before heading inside we posed outside the beautiful church.

Callie Berg was the talented harpist . She played Canon in D and Sonata 1. Both were unbelievable. | David's cousins Erica and Megan were in charge of the gift table. | Our friends Annie and Kristle made sure everyone signed the photo guestbook my aunt Angie made. | David's cousins Erica and Megan were in charge of the gift table

Before we knew it, 4 o'clock was upon us. Father Braun had us all line up and get ready to walk down the aisle. It was time to get married!

Our mothers and grandmothers were escorted down the aisle by my cousins, our ushers, Kody and Kasey. | The song "I Bless You" was sung by Dana Tisdale, and it was absolutely amazing

Once Canon in D began, it was time for the bridal party to walk down the aisle.

By 5 o'clock we were married! | After a long day of getting ready, taking pictures, and saying "I do", it was finally time to head to the Alerus Center for dinner and dancing!

After cutting the cake, we enjoyed our first dance. We danced to "Then" by Brad Paisley. It felt like we were the only people in the ballroom.

Father-Daughter Dance "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts | Mother-Son Dance "I Hope You Dance" by Leann Womack

 "Everybody Dance Now!"

 We look like bookends!

This wedding album is in memory of an amazing woman, my aunt, Angie Johnson. We were going to make this album together, and I hope she'd be proud of my work. I'm so glad she was there to share in our special day with us. I will always remember this day as being one of the last days the whole family was together. In the words of the SledgeSisters "We are Family"!
