1: I have been picked on when I was younger so now that i'm older I have a lot anger Rage is a powerful thing and if you don't control it you can get hurt. | Rage: I chose this theme because I'm always angry and I don't know why!

5: Let It Burn Let It Burn I cant wait now Who knows where it came from, it always appears It is a fiery flame. It is huge, How? Forget it was there, leave it alone, it’s something I fear Burn down the image of the shame and face That ignites my rage in different ways The same burning pace which has no place That evokes my age for thirty days Show the Smoke that blows from the top of my head The sign of destruction, is this for real? My smoke is deadly gas. Which if you inhale, you will be dead This has happened before, it’s made a forest squeal Fire is power equivalent to rage Love is power Equivalent to pain

It also can be shown using a instrument. | I am mad at distanced times I’m always mad I don’t know why People are annoying They all ways grind my gears I wish I could hurt them But I know I’ll be put away for 50 years Why oh Why? Do I feel this way? I’m tired of talking it’s time to pay This is not a joke This is not a game I’m real and you better understand this name This name that will always be in your brain Who am I I’m the person you don’t want to meet I am pain I am terror I am all of these that make rage!

10: NiYi Osundare

11: Dr. Niyi Osundare was born in 1947 in Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He went on to graduate with honors in English from the University of Ibadan in 1972. Two years later he earned his M.A. in English from the University of Leeds. Then received his Ph.D. in English from York University in Toronto in 1979 and began an academic career in Nigeria. “Songs of the Marketplace” (1983), was Osundare's first published collection. Osundare is the first Anglophone poet to be awarded the Noma Prize, Africa's most prestigious book award. In Niyi Osundare poems, he shows a lot of love throughout his poems. Also his poems don’t have even quatrains. According to Wikipedia; Niyi was a strong believer in the power of words, saying, "To utter is to alter." Osundare believes that there is no choice for the African poet but to be political.

14: I chose Niyi Osundare because while I was doing research on African poets I thought his achievements were most Admirable. He has several degrees and awards that makes him a distinguished poet.
