FC: My Math Notes

By Brittany Frazier | What I have learned

Multiplying and simplifying radial equations | Simplify Eliminate Simplify | SES | I remember this by

The work principal (t/a)+(t/b)=1 | Applications using rational equations and proportions | Motion formulas D=RT R=D/T T=D/R | I remember this by its formulas

Finding domain and range | Domain is the x-coordinate Range is the y-coordinate | I remember this by (x,y) replaced with (d,r)

Solve the first equation for y. Substitute y with what y equals in the second equation.Solve for x.Take what x equaled and substitute it for the y equals problem. Then solve for y. | Solving by substitution | 3STS Is how i remember this.

Absolute value equations and inequalities | Copy problem twice. On the second problem written down change the sign on the equation to the right of the equal sign and then solve. 2, 2nd right sign change, and solve. This how i remember this.

Turn the radicals into fractions. Find common denominator. Use the common denominator to root your whole numbers and then simplify | Simplifying radical expressions | FDRS Is how i remember this.

Applications involving powers and roots Pythagorean theorem | A triangles has three sides a, b, c. Add a and b that gives you c. Then square it all. Thats how i remember this.

The Quadratic Formula | The song is how I remember this and y=mx+b. Set equal to zero label a, b, and c, then solve.
