Mother at Sunday School with us, a lovely ride with family at farm to see Buddy Coleman's tree work & Steve's Pole barn and sons Hunting Lodge. We also were pleased with our new Kitchen floor.

I hope your dreams take you to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known.

June 12-27 PARAGUAY MISSIONS TRIP Sunday morning at our First Baptist Church 8:44 service we had a wonderful Prayer Service. Mac's sermon was on being Humble and Servant hood Philippians 2 - Imitating Christ's Humility 1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Matthew 20:28 (NIV) 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:43-45 (NIV) 43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. John 13:15-17 (NIV) 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. Mac passed out a big white towel to each of the youth and told the story of the washing of feet. Jesus knew His death was close and God had given him all power. The towel symbolizes servant hood... humility. I prayed Kahler and all would take up the towel of servant hood. To serve Christ in humility in Paraguay. Mac spoke of never forgeting the towels of servant hood. It is a choice, thru humility. We were told how these 9 students and 6 adults have been planning this trip for a year. They even wrote papers on Paraguay to know more about this country, it's people and what they thought the Lord wanted them to do. It took the visa's 4 weeks longer than expected but, finally they were all ready to go. We did the Lord's supper, Now they were ready to minister to others. I know Kahler was very excited and loved having Mary Leonard to go with our church. Acts 1:8 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” The waiting is over- 99% missionaries here - b praying for students - but b sure we r here serving others- safer in Gods will. Would love to get a copy of Kahler's paper for our scrapbook.

Early Monday morning they got to Miami airport were told that there is no way they could leave on that plane because supposedly their travel agent made a huge mistake and routed them thru an airport in Brazil that required Brazilian visas which they did not have. | MIAMI

So after lots of phone calls and two days in Miami they were able to take off on Wednesday! By the time they got to Paraguay (a whole day of air flights).

PARAGUAY | They were very busy trying to catch up to all they had planned to do while there. They traveled by bus to the Iguazu falls, which Kahler thought were beautiful! They visited an orphanage that humbled them all. Kahler said the children were so kind and loving. They all seemed to have a great time sharing Bible stories and playing soccer.

The students evidently begged to go back the next day so they did. Their willingness to share and step out of their comfort zones were a Blessing to all. Lots of prayers and God's Grace carried them thru the rest of this trip and we thank God for each of these precious children as they stepped out on Faith to share God's LOVE and Good News.

Sunday Morning they went to the church they were working with and Ovidio helped to translate and preach. Paul shared his testimony about his father. The churches praise band was Amazing! The pastors wife woke up at 6am Sunday morning to prepare a great meal for lunch. Later that night they were invited to play soccer with some of the youth. They could really play soccer!! But, our kids had a great time. And when our guys would score they would hoot and holler like they had just won the World Cup! Monday they went to the first school to share the gospel, read the Bible, and worship in a public school!! They called an assembly for all the students to come. Alyssa and John shared testimonies. Shelbi, Amy and John led worship. Everyone participated in singing and playing games. The principal was extremely hospitable and appreciative.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011 - Day two in the schools - I heard our Precious group was up and out early and had to face a difficult group of High school students. They did a great job of singing and leading worship at all the schools. They sang Chris Tomlin's "God of this City." The girls were amazing as they led a group of preschoolers for 45 minutes. They came up with a puppet story on the spot and Kahler, Abby, Amy, Christina, and Shelbi shared using the puppets. We heard our kids handle the fame of being Americans very well.

The second school they went to was much different than the first. The students were very well behaved and attentive. Unfortunately, when they got there it started raining on their outside program : /. After they all pulled together and prayed for God's will to be done, the rain stopped and they were able to share. Kahler shared her testimony.

Kahler and her beautiful windows to the soul were well recieved. Especially to Noah pictured here to the left. He played this song on his cell phone. "Nothin' On You" ]Beautiful girls all over the world, I could be chasing But my time would be wasted, they got nothing on you, baby Nothing on you, baby They might say hi, and I might say hey But you shouldn't worry, about what they say Because they got nothing on you, baby Nothing on you, baby - so much nonsense, it's on my conscience I'm thinking "maybe I should get it out" And I don't want to sound redundant But I was wondering, if there was something that you want to know But never mind that, we should let it go Because we don't want to be a TV episode And all the bad thoughts just let them go, go, go, go, go - I've been to London, I've been to Paris Even way out there in Tokyo Back home down in Georgia, to New Orleans But you always steal the show And just like that, girl you got me froze Like a Nintendo 64 If you never knew, well, now you know, know, know - Everywhere I go, I'm always hearing your name And no matter where I'm at, girl you make me want to sing Whether a bus or a plane, or a car, or a train No other girls on my brain, and you're the one to blame

And Shelbi and Christina led worship. Christina helped teach "God of this city." Amy did an absolutely amazing job at translating. They were so thankful she came ... Amy was never supposed to come. She was the only middle schooler allowed on the trip. Even after she had been told NO! a dozen times. She insisted God told her she was supposed to come. Thank God, He told her to and she listened. The most amazing part was at the end of their program over 80 students came up during the alter call. Honestly we believe at least 40 truly made commitments to follow Christ.

<3 Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, those who are called according to His purpose," Busy day planned for tomorrow but, I know with all the prayers we are sending their way the Lord will keep them in His care and Thy will be done. They will visit another school tomorrow and will lead a church service tomorrow night. Romans 8:31, "If God is for us who can be against us?" Yes, there will be many enemies. Yes, there will be many adversaries and obstacles and miseries and distresses and opposition and seemingly pointless delays and breakdowns and all manner of futility. But, No, in all these things we are more than conquerors because of the sovereign love of God in Christ. Nothing will finally succeed against us.

Happy Father's Day Daddy!! | While our Heavenly Father was working thru our precious daughter and friends in Paraguay. We were so Blessed o hear from her via "Skype. Showing some of the beautiful gifts she found for her Daddy's day's...! | Wednesday, June 22, 2011 PRAISE GOD I hear our children have surely felt the Holy Spirit move through them to carry out His Great Commission- they have helped people come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior. Mary, Kahler's friend who is very shy, stepped out of her comfort zone and helped to lead worship by playing the piano. She did an awesome job! And at night Amy and Abby shared there testimonies in front of the church . Both of the girls did amazing. Amy's testimony really spoke of how God is in CONTROL. She spoke about her father's death, about how it caused her family to move to Chile. Her time there allowed her to become fluent in Spanish. All that she has experienced to this point has brought her here! Sharing the gospel saving souls for Jesus. Abby also did very well sharing how James Eunice set a great example and impacted her life. Both of the girls had a resounding theme. That what ever Satan means for bad, God can work out for good. "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" (I. John iv.4). | Me with my 1st FAVORITE MEN! You know it takes a village to raise me :) Happy Fathers Day Daddy! <3

"The family is one of nature's masterpieces." -George Santayana | We all need to hold on to that truth... God is truly in control. He sent us His only begotten son and we have a choice to accept Him into our hearts and then a choice every minute of every day to follow Him or not. I just pray that we choose wisely. Thank God for His blood that was poured out for the times we don't choose wisely. The most amazing thing we can take away from all of this is to Love one another and to know when to walk away and when to run. Our Abba (Heavenly Father) will carry us through any situation if we just keep our hearts and minds focused on Him. I thank God for these students who are pouring themselves out for the Lord! Shelbi, Christina, Paul, Mary, John, and Suzanne have lead worship Beautifully. Everyone has participated by holding mics in their hand or playing instruments. Paul, John, Kahler, Abby, Amy, Alyssa, and Chris have gotten up in front of the schools and churches to give testimonies or messages. Everyone has participated in some way of .sharing the gospel in the schools, back yard Bible studies, and skits.Paul and Jud did great at being the Jewish man beaten in a skit about the "Good Samaritan." We heard John played an amazing Donkey. He got on all fours and let Henry ride his back. Tomorrow they will be going door to door in Lugue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I challenge everyone who reads this to follow the example of the students. Today Share the Gospel. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." | ...and Bday! Andy and I enjoyed a lunch with the boyz and Cris and then went to Jax for his new ipad! :) | Happy Birthday Daddy!! | Thursday, June 23, 2011 Great Day Today was a very exciting day. They all went to homes in the area and evangelized. They met a man named Marco and his mother who had seen heaven in a near death experience delivering one of her babies. She was very confident she had a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. But asked them to pray for her son who was a recovering alcoholic. I think the group learned ... It's not all about Religion but a personal relationship with our Abba- our Heavenly Father. I was so thankful to hear Mary and Henry, both shared with the people today. Jud prayed for many of the families. And that it was a great day sharing the gospel! They invited the children in the neighborhood to come play soccer. At half time they did a devotional. Ovidio, Christina, Henry, Shelbi, Kahler and Abby all explained different parts of the gospel during the devotional. One of the boys gave his life to Christ. And Kahler and a few other of our girls led one of the girls to Christ. Praise the Lord. I thank God for each of these young ladies. We continue to pray for many who are feeling sick in our group.. Can't wait till they come home and we hear all about it. Friday and was their last day in the schools. A very special program was at night. Alyssa and Shelbi shared their testimonies with the youth.
