FC: A Year in the Life of Your Grandkids | Winter 2010-Fall 2011 | Volume 2
1: Happy Birthday | Finally Lexie and Papa got to spend their birthday together! Lexie turned 14!! | Katey turned 8 this year and had a Disney Fairy birthday party. Mom made her fairy cake and she got a new bike! | Josh turned 5 this year: had doughnuts for breakfast and a Transformers birthday party!
2: Christmas 2010 | For our last Christmas in VA it was very quiet. We made our annual cookies on Christmas Eve and of course got up early on Christmas morning to open gifts!
3: J O Y | Dad and his Chalula hot sauce | Katey got her Disney Fairies
4: Tee-ball Time with the Blue Jays | Josh played his second year of baseball and played T-ball. He did great and loved every minute of it!
5: Spring 2011
6: Girl Scout Father-Daughter Dance | Since this may have been Lexie's last year at scouts Andrew took the girls to the Girl Scout Father Daughter Dance. Both girls got new dresses and loved getting dressed up!
7: Fire and Ice Ball | Lexie attended her first dance. It was a home school dance for middle and high school students. She had a great time dancing the night away!
8: For Easter this year we went to the neighborhood egg hunt on Saturday, then went to church and had our own egg hunt on Sunday!
9: EASTER | happy | Spring Time
10: saying goodbye | to Spotlight Dance | Before the dance year came to an end Alexis' dance company performed in a St. Patrick's Day Parade and a local school's health fair. Then the girls had a fabulous recital. Both girls were very upset about having to leave Spotlight and many tears were shed.
12: Awana Awards Night | Eating cereal on the floor in plastic cups! | Although we were excited to leave VA it was difficult to leave our wonderful neighbors from Shenvale Circle! There were many tears and lots of hugs goodbye! It is not the place that would be missed but our friends!
13: We were so excited to be finally moving from Virginia to be closer to family! The drive to New Mexico started in the emergency room because Josh had a fever! Luckily a day later he felt great! | Leaving Virginia | The dogs were great on the road! | Since this was our second cross country move it was easier! However we spent 3 twelve hour days driving in the car on our way to New Mexico.
14: Grammy and Papa's House | Happy Birthday Grammy | After our drive across country from VA we stayed in Las Cruces with Grammy and Papa for about 2 months while waiting for our base house at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We got to Las Cruces with Uncles Kyle and Justin in time to celebrate Grammy's birthday! We had a great evening . Papa cooked ribs and bought Grammy a double chocolate cake!
16: Golfing at Picacho Hills Country Club with Papa!
17: Passing the driver and the patience to the next generation. | While we were in Las Cruces this summer one of the kids favorite things to do was to go to the driving range with Papa! On this day we cooled off in the pool after we worked up a sweat hitting golf balls.

20: White Sands National Park | Beefcake Bro's
21: Katey having an H.P. | It was a super hot day when we went to the white sands. We had a good time sledding and snowboarding down the dunes. Even Papa went down on the sled! | Grammy, Josh, and Jenny went the most on the sled.
22: Life brings simple pleasures to us every day. It is up to us to make them wonderful memories. | Post workout protein shakes!
23: Enjoying the great outdoors and some beverages! | Tarantula Hawk | Saying goodbye to the boys until next time! | We saw some beautiful sunsets and experienced some great desert storms while we were visiting Papa and Grammy.
24: Ice Cream Day at Las Cruces Farm and Ranch Museum | It took a long time to make the ice cream and hundreds of times rolling the can to make our own ice cream.
25: On July 17 Papa and Grammy took us to the Farm and Ranch Museum up the road for their Ice Cream Day! The kids were so excited to get some ice cream and were surprised when we got to make our own. The kids also learned how dairy cows are milked and a little more about how farms work!
26: Nemeth Family Homeschool | Our new school year began on August 22nd. Josh began Kindergarten, Katey began 3rd grade, and Alexis began 8th grade. | Po is often seen at Katey's desk while she is doing school!
27: Our new home school room! Everyone has a desk and all of their materials close by! | Yes Lexie is asleep on the couch! School was very exciting that day!
28: Trick or Treat | You're never too old to carve pumpkins! | Halloween 2011
29: Sir Joshua | Although Lexie decided she was too old to go trick or treating she at least let me take this pic of all three of them! | Katey got to re-use her tap costume from dance and was a tapper! | Andrew knighted Joshua as Sir Joshua when he received his sword.
30: We had a great day cooking and playing games.
