1: We went many places and saw many wonderful things. God truly blessed our family this year. Thank You, Lord!
3: Sledding: the Weaver Way Mathews, Mansfields, Daisy White, and Chloe Schlatter came out for some fun. in the snow.
4: Daughters of Hope 2009 Hannah, Gabrielle, Aubree, Sarah, Lizzie, Brianna, Taylor, and Zoe
5: The Home and Garden Show in Columbus, Ohio The kids had their caricature drawn and got to see some animals from the Columbus Zoo. The favorite garden this year was Gusteau's Restaurant from the movie "Ratatouille".
6: Happy 5th Birthday, Alexandr! | Alexandr had his birthday party at McDonald's. | Maddox | Preston | Landyn
7: Preston and Maddox Brien, Landyn Hijma, and Alexandr's brothers and sisters all had a great time playing on the playground. | We made pig puppets and played pin the tail on the pig and ate Happy Meals. | Mom made dirt cake complete with little piggies playing in each cup.
8: Snow Shoe Ski Resort, West Virginia
9: Ski by day, swim and play cards by night. All the kids can now ski by themselves down the mountain. Raya skiied between DeWayne's legs and kept saying, "Faster Daddy, Faster!" Everyone enjoyed watching the pond skimming. Crazy people in swim trunks or costumes ski down a hill toward a man made "pond" and see how far across they can skim the water on their skis. Crazy!
10: Happy 13th Birthday, Taylor! | Taylor had a sleepover for her party. The girls spent all night writing, rehearsing, and producing an original movie, "How to Survive a Slumber Party"
11: Aside from staying up way too late the girls also had contests on the dance mats, played piano, and played with the dog. | Lydia, Mercedes, Aurora Mansfield, Sarah Keefer, Natalie Fiene, Beth Oldham, Zoe Klinger, Gabrielle, and Raya
12: We got to meet well known author Beverly Lewis at the Hardin County Library.
13: Wilma Williams celebrated her 9oth birthday at Blanchard House. She went to be with the Lord just two months later.
15: Happy 4th Birthday Raisa! | Raya had a schnauzer birthday this year in honor of her favorite stuffed dog.
16: Matthew tested for his purple belt in Tae Kwon Do. He fought, broke his board, and performed his forms well enough to receive his belt.
18: Grandpa and Grandma Taylor went with us to Brunson's Restaurant to eat their Easter buffet. Then we came out to our house to find Easter baskets and hunt for Easter eggs.
19: Easter | Grandpa and Grandma brought the kids an Easter pinata filled with candy. It took quite a few swings to break open the chickadee. | Easter
20: Grandma Taylor wasn't feeling well so the kids and I helped get her landscaping done.
21: Taylor took piano lessons from Mrs. Long this year. Recital was held at St. John's UCC.
23: Daddy brought home a newborn reindeer. She was too small to nurse her mom so we bottle fed Anastasia for several weeks. Unfortunately, she was just too small to survive. How many kids can say they bottle fed a real reindeer? All of us enjoyed the experience.
24: Happy 9th Birthday, Matthew! We went to El Cantarito's for their Cinco de Mayo celebration to eat for Matthew's birthday. We even ate fried ice cream. They gave Matthew a sombrero which he loved!
25: Home School Expose | Taylor did experiments using baking soda. | Brady explained the making of log cabins. | Matthew reported on sled dogs. | Gabrielle told about Shiba Inus. | Alexandr recited the 23rd Psalm. | Home schooled kids come together once a year to recite, report, experiment, and have fun!
26: Picnicking at Boy Scout Lake with Grandpa and Grandma Taylor and Uncle Sam, Aunt Shauna, Kearney, and Sam
27: A trip to the Columbus Zoo turned out to be a very nice day with all the kids.
28: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina DeWayne brought us down to the beach to enjoy ourselves during his Veterinary conference. We had a blast on the beach and in the pools. Going to Dixie Stampede is always a favorite time for the kids. Grandpa and Grandma Taylor had fun, but I think we wore them out!

31: NBC came and filmed a spotlight for Gene Autry Days. Filming took place at the Gene Autry park in dountown Kenton. | We were all up, dressed, and at the park by 6:30 am for the filming. | The singing cowboy made up songs on the spot about the kids and entertained them for a very long time!
32: Ready, Set, Shoot! | Brady got the chance to shoot a quick draw gun. He actually had really good time and impressed the quick draw professionals with his draw times. Brady had a wonderful time and talked about it for weeks.
33: The Lone Ranger, Tanto, Lash Larew, and Cat Ballou. Even John Wayne attended the Gene Autry Days. | The kids had fun entering the look-alike contest and meeting the old western characters.

35: We had quite a large group for the fireworks this year. The weather was good and the food was good, and the fireworks were wonderful.!

38: Weaverfield Camping Trip at Delaware State Park | Climbing, swimming, hiking, eating cupcakes, and getting dirty. That's what camping is made of!
39: Olentangy Indian Caverns | The trip of dead car batteries. | This is how you handle 10 children on a camping trip!
40: Our friends BJ, Lisa, and Brianna Thomsen came for a visit.
41: The kids had fun dressing up and jumping on the trampoline. The dog enjoyed the extra food.
43: Happy 7th Birthday, Gabrielle Gabrielle had an Angelina Ballerina party so everything was pink, pink, pink! Grandpa and Grandma, Aurora, Chloe, and Molly came to make jewelry, play games, and eat cake and ice cream to celebrate Gabrielle's birthday. Gabrielle loved being able to help decorate her cupcakes.

47: Home School Days at Sauder Village We went to Archbold, Ohio to visit the historical village. There is an old house with lots of buildings holding businesses such as a tinsmith, an herb shop, a print shop, broom maker, etc. There is also a farm, Indian village, and large museum. It was very interesting and the kids loved it.
48: Hardin County Fair | Taylor showed Daniel and got an A on her project. Brady showed Clark and got an A on his project, also.
49: Gabrielle showed Buddy for the Kiddie Showmanship. While the calf acted up, Gabrielle did a good job smiling! | Matthew's first year showing he got second place in his class with his calf Buddy.
50: Gabrielle just smiled and smiled at the judge while she was showing. | Alexandr and Raisa loved showing their calves and the best part was the trophy and the free ice cream.
51: Delaware Water Gap, PA The side of this mountain had the profile of an Indian chief until his nose slid off. There is a natural cold vent there. 52: Bushkill Falls | The falls had walking paths and steps all the way down the falls. The kids enjoyed the hiking and the beauty of the falls.
53: This was a little family owned business. We watched the son carve candles. | The business had a fire at one point. All the candles were ruined. They took the candles and made this large one with the history of the store molded in it.
54: We went to visit Brian and Melissa Weimert in Pennsylvania and went four wheeling at Marionville.
55: We stopped at Weimert's on our way to vacation at Shawnee on the Gap, PA. As always we had fun with a cook out and playing corn hole and catching up on all the area news. | Jamestown, Pennsylvania

60: ONU theater department put on" Turtle Day" for the kids to learn about theater.

65: Merry Christmas! | The boys remade a fort for Kearney and Sam. Raya loved holding Savannah. We had Christmas together. . .a little early.
66: Hunting season was bountiful this year. Brady shot his first deer. DeWayne shot a 9 point buck. Melissa Weimert shot her first buck and it was a 9 point, too.
67: Christmas Card 2009 Merry Christmas from a bunch of nuts!
68: Our Dance group went to Night in Bethlehem to do some Jewish dancing in the marketplace. It was very cold, so we had to keep dancing to stay warm.
69: Taylor started Tae Kwon Do this year and loves it. She tested for her yellow belt and passed with flying colors.
