FC: Frederick Family Memories July-December 2010
The second half of 2010 was full of fun and excitement...boating and camping, birthdays and holidays, starting Kindergarten and losing teeth...and of course, the addition of Zachary Allen to our family. We were blessed with so many special memories. As usual with the Frederick crew, there was never a dull moment!

Basement Construction Begins! | Daddy's little helpers oversaw the beginning of the new rooms in the basement in Summer 2010
With the sixth member of our family on his way, it was time to make more room to sleep and play in the Frederick house! Daddy finalized the design and started framing walls and hanging drywall. The work probably would have been more efficient without Daddy's little assistants, but he always took time to let them work with him. Matthew and Andrew claimed their rooms early in the process and loved watching the rooms take shape!
 Beech Campout
 West Branch | July 30- August 1
Painting Herbie | The kids got a chance to combine washable bath paint with their love of Herbie the Love Bug when they decorated the white car before helping Daddy wash it. Matthew was a little upset when it was time to wash the decorations off--he thought it would stay painted! A messy but fun afternoon project, and afterward both the car and the kids got bathed!

Kingsway Farm We had a great time with our church friends on a beautifully sunny fall day. We saw all the animals, played in the corn, and took a hayride out to the field to pick the perfect pumpkin. Then we had a bonfire and games at the Witmers' house.

Of the many things on the pre-baby to-do list, one of the most important was one last trip to Pump it Up (aka "Bouncy Place"). The kids had so much fun there that it became a regular part of their dinner and bedtime prayers to thank God for it for about the next six months. Glad they enjoyed it! | ...And Thank you God for Bouncy Place!
Andrew is 2! Our funny, sweet boy celebrated his birthday with a Herbie cake and a party with his family. We sang Happy Birthday to b-day buddy Mommy too!
 Happy Halloween!
Trick or Treat! | Halloween was a blast this year. We carved our perfect pumpkin together, and it was almost as big as Mommy's belly! Hannah had a fun party with her friends in Mrs. Kuntzman's class. We went trick-or-treating with our friends like always, and had a fantastic time. Hannah wanted to be a bat because she had learned all about them in school. Matthew chose Thomas for the second year, and Andrew made a super cute Elmo!
Early on the morning of November 10, Mommy got kisses and hugs before heading in to the hospital. By 2:37, Zachary Allan had joined the family! 44: Family Christmas Pictures Always a source of anxiety...now even more ridiculous with four children. Looking back it's easy to laugh, but in the moment...oh my word. Gotta love the running away, goofy faces, and of course, nose picking. The Frederick kids: keepin' it classy!
A few more tries with our fancy Christmas clothes... | Getting closer... there may be hope for us yet!
Persistence pays off: Finally, we have a keeper!
