17: We set sail on March 14, 2010 aboard the Independence of the Seas. We had adjoining rooms with a great view. There was plenty of space and privacy for all - thank goodness.
18: Our first port was Belize. We were not impressed with the excursions or the town so we spent a relaxing day on the ship.

20: Our second stop was in Costa Maya. The weather wasn't great, but it didn't stop us from having a great time.!

37: We love attending a GymDawgs meet each year. Garrett got to see the new training facility and we witnessed a perfect 10 on the beam!
39: (text) | 2 | 05 26 | Hamp has a sports obsession, just like his dad! No matter the season, he'll find a sport to play or watch. This year, he played basketball at school, and got to see his first Hawks game. Jason taught him how to shoot a BB gun at squirrels in our yard. I must admit, I hope he doesn't take up the sport of hunting! When the weather turned warmer, he went to see the Braves play and hit the golf course with his dad. | 0

42: G Day Game in Athens April 2010 | Garrett got to meet the UGA cheerleaders and the fire-twirling majorette. Hampton had his football signed by lots of players!
43: Moving Day is here! After 10 long months, we finally sold our house and were ready to move closer to Wesleyan. We said goodbye to neighborhood friends and then put Hamp to work unloading the truck. We wore him out! | This sums up why we are moving - no more long car rides home!
44: As we move across town and look forward to a new chapter in our lives, we say goodbye to our beautiful home of almost 9 years. We will miss you, 1470 Water View Lane!

49: What kid could be luckier than Hampton? He had THREE birthday celebrations for his 7th birthday! His first celebration included a dinosaur cake at school with his friends in his PreFirst class.
50: The celebration continued with friends from school at a bowling party.
53: The celebration wrapped up with a family party at home. Hamp's request? Games outside, Daddy's barbeque, and of course, CAKE!!!

58: HILTON HEAD | June 2010 | Muv and Papa John took us to Hilton Head for the week. We had perfect weather and great food, but the best part was all the sea life we found! Sand dollars, jellyfish, sand crabs, diggers and sharks, oh my!

62: Garrett loves going to Camp Greystone. She attends the junior camp which lasts for 4 nights. I think she would stay all summer if we let her!
64: FAMILY FUN | One thing we love about Greystone is staying in Hendersonville before we drop off and pick up Garrett. There are lots of cute shops, yummy ice cream, and of course,, goat statues!

68: June 2010 -Jason figured out how to get the tv out to the fireplace at the Sky House. Now everything is PERFECT! | summer fun
69: Hamp got a Mentos geyser kit for his birthday. Needless to say, it provided lots of fun for the boys!

77: Our big night out this year included a trip to see Le Grand Cirque, an acrobatic circus. We had a ball!
78: More Family Fun!... Annual poses at Umberto's, games and strolling around Barefoot Landing, and even water massages at the mall.

81: July 4th was our first event as members of the Atlanta Athletic Club. The kids enjoyed carnival games, ice cream, stunt men and, of course, fireworks!

83: We had lots of other fun over the summer. We went rafting up in Dillsboro, NC on the same river where the movie Fugitive was filmed. The bus used in the movie is still there!
84: We attended Craig and Emily's beautiful wedding. Hamp wore himself out on the dance floor!

87: Thanks to the Taylors, we enjoyed a wonderful last minute trip to Jax Beach. We also enjoyed hanging out at the Ponte Vedra Club Pool!
88: August 10, 2010 - I can't believe my baby is in MIDDLE SCHOOL! Garrett decorated her locker for "Locker Day" with a little help from mom. This is probably the first and last time it will look this neat! | Gigi and Ansley left locker messages for each other.
89: August 16th was the first day of school for Garrett and Hampton! Hampton's first grade teachers are Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Whited. Garrett gets to rotate through 7 different classes each day.
90: Umpa Joel | The boys had a day of golf, then a fun evening at Joel and Ashleigh's.
91: The Big 3-0! | Garrett sings the national anthem while Hamp plugs his ears! | Jason made cornhole and I painted a "Power G" on it for Joel's birthday. After our Shake Weight fun at the beach, MaSue and PawPaw decided to give one to Joel. Great entertainment!
92: UGA Football 2010 | My 38th bday - first home game and strawberry cake from Frosty Frogs! Thanks, Joel and Ashleigh!
93: We had a great time with friends and welcomed Uga VIII, but it turned out to be our first losing season in 14 years! YIKES!
94: Garrett is officially a 'tween!' | We let Garrett shave her legs for the first time on October 5, 2010. It took over an hour with her new electric razor.
95: Some of the kids' fun fall activities included Scarecrow Day for Hampton and Wesleyan's famous Fall Festival. The first grade made scarecrows to display during the festival. Hampton and mom used dad's clothes to make a golfer. Gigi, Ansley, Sadie and Lydia enjoyed hanging out and playing games. They only have one more year to play - then they have to be helpers! | Fall 2010
96: We were honored when Michael planned a dinner for Ashford Advisors at the Governor's Mansion on October 6. We had a special menu planned just for us and enjoyed dinner and conversation in the State Dining Room! After dinner, we relaxed and enjoyed a tour and some great conversation. 109: October 2010 Dad let Gigi and Hamp design their faces on paper before he carved the pumpkins. Garrett chose a pumpkin with "dimples" and Hampton chose a goofy face.

115: Garrett and Hampton got LOADS of candy in Amberfield this year. There was no way they could even think of getting to all of the houses. They eventually got tired and came home, but only after Hampton had impressed everyone with his Moon Walk.!
116: Garrett earned a part (actually 4 parts) in the Middle School Fall Production. We were so proud of her!

123: We all had a blast at "North Pole Christmas" at AAC. The kids loved the activities - balloon hats, stuffed animal machine, candy room, flip books and more - and the food was wonderful!
