Santa Clause Letter | Dear Santa, I know that you are busy making toys for the good girls and boys. I know that I have been a good girl this year. I was wondering if you had time to make a trampoline for my brother and I. I know that we have enough room in our backyard to fit one. My brother and I would play on it all the time. We would have so much fun. Thanks Santa! From, Kayla
I wrote this letter when I was 7.
Swimming With Sea Turtles | As you swim into the deep sea. As you climb over the nasty slimy green seaweed. As you pass by millions of rainbow fish trying to swim away as fast as they can. As you pass by a gorgeous prickly piece of coral. You pass by a giant shelled creature. It is busy eating the nasty slimy green seaweed that you just swam over. It
quickly takes a look up at you. He then goes back to eating the disgusting seaweed. You are so surprised that he hasn't swam away yet. He has four fin type legs. He has an oval shaped head that is connected to his hard shell located on his back. Every so often he comes up to the top of the water to breath. He is a sea turtle enjoying his environment!
Kayaking In Mexico | This summer we went to Mexico with my mom's whole side of the family. One of the activities that we did was kayaking. Everyone was so excited except me. I was excited but I was nervous at the same time. When we went to get the kayak the man who was checking them out said they had one double and three singles. I really wanted a double to go with my dad because this was my first time. But, since my brother is younger, he and my mom got the double. My two cousins and my uncle went out in the singles. My dad and I waited on the shore for someone to come back with a double. It looked like they were having so much fun out there and I was hoping that someone would hurry back so I could go have fun. Soon they had all drifted behind the buoys where they were not supposed to go and the lifeguard was freaking out. So they turned their kayaks sideways to go back, but a huge wave hit them and that was the end of the fun. Everyone had all fallen out except my mom and my brother, and they didn't get back up and in their kayaks. They were in trouble and we knew it. The lifeguard ran out in the ocean to save them. One of my cousins came back by herself. Her knee was really black and it had sharp things in it. She was crying and I felt so bad for her. They laid her down on a lounge chair and said that she had fallen in a colony of sea urchins.
While they were trying to help her, I was told to go down on the other side of the beach to help my other cousin. She was scraped badly and had blood all over her and was also crying a lot. This was just a huge mess. My uncle also landed in a colony of sea urchins and had spikes all over him too. While this was all going on my mom and brother were somewhere out there. They had drifted way out there and the lifeguard was out pulling them to safety. They finally made it to the shore and everyone was safe. We were just trying to get all of those spikes out of one of my cousins and my uncle. My mom and brother were just find and had no injuries. We decided to go back to the hotel room and we saw my other cousins and aunts and uncles. They were drinking beer on the beach and enjoying their life while we had just gone through a very scary situation. We were all fine though, I think. My uncle still has black spots that haven't come out yet.
An Influence On Me | I am a very athletic person, and I am a very competitive person. I love to play and do sports. The one person that I look up to is a person named Usain Bolt. If you don't already know him, he is the fastest runner of all time. He runs in the Olympics every four years. He holds the Olympic record and the world record. He is amazing. He is the fastest man on the earth.

M & M World | When I was in Las Vegas for a soccer tournament we went to a place called M & M World. It is located on the Las Vegas Strip. When we first walked in all we saw were M & M's. But there was also socks, pillows, pens, blankets, water bottles, clothes, school supplies, and anything you could imagine. As I kept looking around I saw the back wall, it had every color M & M imaginable. We kept looking around and we saw that there was five levels of M & M's. We found the escalators and rode up to the next level and found more stuff. The next level was more stuff. We went up to the highest floor, the 5th floor, and it was the same thing, just more stuff. Then I found a round, green pillow. It is the green M&M and has a funny face. I call it my sassy M&M. I got to buy that pillow and a bag of M&Ms. It was such an amazing trip. I hope I can go again someday!

Fun Mexico Trip | In Mexico my brother and I went to a day camp while my parents went scuba diving, because we weren't old enough to go. We were not happy about going to day camp, I mean who would be? It sounds like something little kids would do and I complained thinking it was going to be stupid. But my parents forced me anyway. I went and I actually had a great time. I met four girls that were my age and we did everything together and became really good friends. We also got a lot of ice cream. It was the end of the day and we were doing face painting and my new friends told me to try this creepy painting. I was doubting them but I said sure, it would come off so why not. When it was done I was so embarrassed and I hated it. But I had some fun with it. That is what I did on my interesting, but fun trip to Mexico!

Tulum | When I was in Mexico I went to a place called Tulum. It was part of the Mayan Civilization. The buildings are very old and bits and pieces are missing from them but they have parts that are still there. The parts that are still there are really cool to look at and on some of them you can walk up on top of the buildings. On some of them you can still see the red paintings that hasn't worn off. They did paintings to entertain themselves. Some of the buildings were tiny and some of them were huge. You could tell which ones held the important people. They also had a very beautiful shore right next to them. That is where they went to get water or just hang out on the beach. Today you can still go on that beach and hang out and play in the water. It is very cool and important to our world history!
