1: We don't remember days, we remember moments...so we try to make as many fun moments as we can in our family. Here are some of our favorite moments from January 2010 through August 2010.
2: Michelle is such a good friend of mine and 40 is such a fun birthday to celebrate, so I surprised her with a party at Zona Rosa with all her best friends. | Michelle King's 40th Surprise Birthday Party January 9, 2010
3: At Christmas, we surprised the kids with a week long trip to Walt Disney World - it was wonderful Jan 16 - 23
4: SNOW DAY!! February 12, 2010 An amazing snow day! It snowed so much and lasted all day long. We used broiler pans to sled down the front yard hill and finished the day with a family snow ball fight.
12: Spring Break Tampa, FL March 15-20, 2010 Our house is still for sale in Birmingham, AL and the kids had a week off school so we decided to spend our week in Tampa so we could see Daddy. Grandma and Papa came with me and we stayed at the Sirata Beach Resort in St Pete's Beach.
13: Nicholas' 2nd grade class adopted a manatee from FL and so we went to Tampa Electric where they have a viewing area to see manatees. Nicholas saw the one he adopted - Brutus.
17: We went to George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL and saw the New York Yankees play for Spring Training. It was freezing cold (unusual for Tampa) and sitting on metal bleachers - brrr, so we left a little early.
18: Florida Aquarium We met up with our friends John and Carolyn Freeman from Birmingham and let the kids run around and enjoy the aquarium.
24: Happy Birthday Nicholas! Nicholas chose to eat at California Pizza Kitchen for his special birthday dinner.
25: St Pete's Beach, FL
26: Easter 2010 We went to church to celebrate our Risen Lord then invited friends over for an egg hunt. We had a great time with the King's, Knowles', Jones', and Clark's.
28: The Hecker Egg Hunt The Hecker family invited us over for an egg hunt - Me, Kaylee and Nicholas went. We always have fun there and the kids found lots of eggs!
30: Boil in the Hood 4.24.10 The Jones family invited us to the Boil in the Hood crawfish party that their neighborhood puts on. Lots of good food, a band, and many fun friends - we hope to go again next year!
32: Zona Rosa Nights Kevin travels every week to work in Tampa so we have a girls night once a week at Zona Rosa. | Best Friends
34: Pinetree Tennis Team 2.5 I learned to play tennis here with these ladies and have really enjoyed it. I will be moving on to Tampa and hope to meet another great group of ladies. Missy was my awesome doubles partner.
35: Kaylee had her party at Bruster's Ice Cream and the boys went in together at the YMCA swimming pool. | Kid's Going Away Parties
36: The Cahaba River May 2010 We love to just head over to the Cahaba River with Izzie in tow and just play!
40: Lake Day with the Creel and Jones Families.
41: Tampa or Bust! | Our house sold after 6 months. We bought a house in Tampa and will move there in a month.
42: 20331 Heritage Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33647 We closed on our house in May and lived with the King's for 2 weeks to finish up school, visited family and friends in Texas for 2 weeks, and will make the drive to Tampa to close on this home. We are very sad to leave Birmingham, but excited to be going where God needs us to be.
43: While we were in Houston, TX for 2 weeks waiting for our Tampa house to be ready to close on, we got to see my cousin, Zachary, graduate from Goose Creek Memorial HS. | June 2010
44: The Kemah Boardwalk is a great place to go have some fun! They have food, rides, and a spray park. | KEMAH BOARDWALK
48: In the middle of our 2 week Houston trip, we took a few days to visit friends in Fort Worth, TX.
49: Grandma and Papa Dunlop invited some family over.
50: GG took us to the NASA Space Center to see the Star Wars exhibit. May the Force be with you!
52: High School Friends
53: It is so fun to see old high school friends again! We met for lunch one day and then another night went out for dinner. I finally got to meet Julie and Michelle's babies too.
54: Sand Key, Florida
55: I was about one or two weeks into unpacking our boxes in our New Tampa home when The Wilson Family called and said they were in Sand Key, FL and would we like to meet them for a fun day at the beach and dinner out in Tarpon Springs which is known for their Greek food. We got there as fast as we could and had a fun day with our friends. | June 23, 2010
56: 4th of July 2010
57: We celebrated our first 4th of July in our new Tampa home with my Mom and Dad and cousin, Zachary. We did fireworks and rang in the new year with kid champagne.
58: Lowry Park Zoo
59: Lowry Park Zoo is so much fun! This was our first time to go and we took Mom, Dad, and Zachary with us. The kids like the rides and all the animals.
65: Clearwater Beach, FL My parents left to go back to Texas and Zachary is staying the week with us. We started off by taking him to the beach. We love the Florida beaches!
66: We all love baseball so we naturally took Zachary to see the Tampa Bay Rays play at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL. July 11, 2010
67: GATORLAND Orlando, FL
68: July 13, 2010. Gatorland was full of gators! Gators everywhere. The coolest thing was watching a gator wrestler. Also, seems like everything in Orlando has a water area...maybe because it is so HOT!
70: Busch Gardens Tampa, FL July 14, 2010 Busch Gardens is only about 20 minutes from our house so we decided to get a season pass. It is a fun amusement park with some animals too.

74: Catapult Kids Day Tampa, FL July 28, 2010 Kevin's work has a kids day - this year the kids made catapults and tried to see whose would shoot the farthest.
75: Izzie and the Frog | Izzie is hilarious! She finds these frogs on the back patio and chases them until they figure out how to get away from her. she watched the one on the glass door forever!

79: We bought a summer pass to the zoo, so we are enjoying our time here. Free rides, water areas, and lots of fun to be had.
80: Universal Studios is a blast - it is like Disney, but for older kids. We stayed the night on property and got to ride a water taxi to the park and skip all the long lines with our Express Pass. Harry Potter World opened up this year and is so amazing - just like in the movies! | Universal Studios Orlando, FL
81: We ate dinner at Mythos - the award winning restaurant in Universal and the kids all got Harry Potter wands and robes.
