 ROCKET POWER | OTTO ROCKET
I am most like Otto Rocket from the TV Show "Rocket Power". Otto is a really athletic guy that likes doing all kinds of sports and is really competitive in anything that he does. He enters all kinds of surfing, skating, and skimboard competitions as I am also very competitive in dirt bike racing, wrestling, playing tennis, and running. Our vocabulary consists of about the same | words | such as: sweet, man, bro, cool, and saying dude after about every sentence. He's also pretty short like I am. He is always having a good time and tries to make the best out of every situation as I have that great quality myself, no matter what I'm doing or where I am at!
 1. Some people seem only to want to drink and party 2. People can hurt my feelings most by putting me down and saying that i cant do something. 3. I get angry when people make fun of others that cant help what they’re being made fun of. 4. I feel happiest of all when I accomplish something that I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to do. 5. My major goal in life is to succeed and have a good paying job with a stable family and household. 6. The greatest crime one man can do towards another is lie to him to his face. 7. My greatest fear is that my life will end before I get to do everything that I want. 8. If I could have one wish it would be to never get old to where I lost all strength and good health.
 9. My greatest weakness is putting riding and going to the gym before school work. 10. My greatest strength is being true to my friends or family. 11. If I could do one thing to improve mankind It would be to make two-strokes to where they wouldn’t pollute the air at all. 12. The thing I would most want to be remembered for after leaving highschool is not getting into all the drama that our highschool has. 13. If I could talk to one person from the past it would be the man that invented dirtbikes to find out what made him want to do it. 14. If I could change one thing about myself, it would be to change my problem with procrastinating. 15. If I could interview anyone in the world it would be the guy who had the idea of EOCs and exams to see if he had a ligitimate reason why.
COLLAGE | They say that the older you get, the faster time goes by and as it may not be literal, it still seems like life goes by faster and faster every year. Where pictures can help to slow the time down and help you realize the great life you have been having and that you should still just live life day by day and to the fullest. You can never have too many pictures, whether it’s of your friends and family, or of you doing something that you really enjoy doing, they will always be helpful as you look at them to slow down your life, or to simply put a smile on your face. I have grown up with my parents always videotaping and taking pictures of every little moment, from me playing on the swing set as a baby, to racing dirt bikes almost every weekend as a teenager, and young adult. So pictures and videotapes will always be there so that i can look back at the good times that i've had, especially throughout high school. Some families do not own a camera and don't get the opportunity to look back at tons of pictures. But i'm very thankful that i'm able to do so. The pictures of my family really mean a lot to me as they are the people that get me through each day and have helped me grow into the person that i am today. We do a lot of things together and go on several vacations a year, and a camera is always by my moms side. An example would be a picture of my mom, dad, brother and I as were standing beside a huge pot of chili where my parents had participated in a chili cook off that we as a family had a great time doing while we all sat around in a group, laughing and just having a great time together, as usual!
REFLECTION | I chose the pictures of me riding and racing because that is something that i love doing, and plan on doing for the rest of my life. I've been riding since i was 9 years old and have loved it ever since. When I'm sick, or not in a good mood then I can go outside, hop on my bike, and just go ride and it will make me feel like a whole new person because it gets my mind off of everything else. My parents realize the passion that i have for dirt bikes and they support me in every way and provide me with what i need to continue doing this sport, including pictures that i can look back on and see how much fun that I've had. And last but not least, The Girlfriend. The pictures of Kayleigh and I represent a part of my life that I enjoy greatly. She's always able to put a smile on my face whether we are together or not. When we are together we have a great time because we laugh and enjoy every minute of the time we have together. Whether were just laying down watching a movie, or outside riding dirt bikes together. That is one thing that i really like about her is that she enjoys being outside and likes doing the things that I do. She's always up for something new. Another thing is that she is beautiful in every way, her personality, her sense of humor, smile, and her looks. So all and all, the pictures of my girlfriend Kayleigh and I are a the beginning a big chapter in my life.
"Letter to me" | If I could write a letter to me And send it back in time to myself at 17 First I'd prove it's me by saying look under your bed There's a Skoal can and a Playboy no one else would know you hid And then I'd say I know its tough When you break up after seven months And yeah I know you really liked her and it just don't seem fair All I can say is pain like that is fast and it's rare And oh you got so much going for you going right But I know at 17 it's hard to see past Friday night She wasn't right for you And still you feel like there's a knife sticking out of your back And you're wondering if you'll survive You'll make it through this and you'll see You're still around to write this letter to me At the stop sign at Tomlinson and Eighth Always stop completely don't just tap your brakes And when you get a date with Bridgett make sure the tank is full On second thought forget it that one turns out kinda cool Each and every time you have a fight Just assume you're wrong and daddy is right And you should really thank Mrs. Bringman She spend so much extra time It's like she sees the diamond underneath And she's polishing you 'til you shine
And oh you got so much going for you going right But I know at 17 it's hard to see past Friday night Tonight's the bonfire rally But you're staying home instead because if you fail Algebra Mom and dad will kill you dead Trust me you'll squeak by and get a C And you're still around to write this letter to me You've got so much up ahead You'll make new friends You should see your kids and wife And I'd end up saying have no fear These are nowhere near the best years of your life I guess I'll see you in the mirror When you're a grown man P.S. "go hug Aunt Rita every chance you can" And oh you got so much going for you going right But I know at 17 it's hard to see past Friday night I wish you'd study Spanish I wish you'd take a typing class I wish you wouldn't worry, let it be I'd say have a little faith and you'll see If I could write a letter to me To me | Brad Paisley
SONG REFLECTION | The song "Letter to me" by Brad Paisley is a very meaningful song in many ways. As I can relate to this song in several different ways. When it talks about hiding the skoal can and the playboy i can relate because everyone has that one thing that no one knows about you. In the life of this teenager he is trying to hide a tobacco product and an inappropriate magazine, where in my case, I try to hide my school grades when they're bad, and relationship problems. When it talks about the 7 month relationship coming to an end and how upset and how hard it is to get through that time. I don't exactly know what its like to have to go through a break up with someone that you really love and care about. But i do know that if I had to split ways with the girl that I really care about, then It would be a really tough to get over it and move on. And the part that I can relate to the most is the part when it is talking about when you're 17 you've got a lot going for you even though you can't see past Friday nights. Then it says that no matter what, you'll get through to the times and keep living life as you were before. While I am very aware that when you're 17 years old that you've got so much going on in you're life that you cant even remember what happened yesterday. I can also say that I'm still young and I
still have plenty of time in life for my dreams to come true and that no matter what happens, I'll still get through everyday and live life with no regrets because I have realized that everything happens for a reason.
I WONDER... | 1. I wonder why its easier to hurt the people you love rather than the ones you dislike. 2. I wonder why healthier food costs more than junk food but then America's called obese. 3. I wonder why some people catch on to things easier than others, such as certain subjects in school. 4. I wonder why people expect to get second chances, and yet they don't give them to others. 5. I wonder why some people do bad things knowing that they will get in trouble for it sooner or later and will have major consequences.
 6. I wonder why people say "what" or "huh" even when they completely understood you the first time you said it. 7. I wonder why gas prices don't go down even when they know that more people will buy more gas so you will still be making the same amount of money. 8. I wonder why people voted most likely to succeed are known to grow up and not be most successful of our class. 9. I wonder why people care more about the popular that aren't as trustworthy instead of the people that are just neutral and are really caring and trustworthy. 10. I wonder why people find it fun to drink and smoke and waste money instead of doing something useful and is alot cheaper with less conqequences.
REGRET | I would usually say that I live life with no regrets. But there is one thing that I do regret and that is the decisions I made when it came to putting sports and other things in front of school work. I'm a freshman and I think that its just great to have made it to high school. I've got three more years to get my GPA back up and to make great grades in all of my classes. My friends calls and asks if I want to go riding...well I have some homework but I'll just do it in the morning. Morning time comes around and I tell myself that the teacher probably won't check the homework. Class starts and before you know it, I've got another zero in the grade book.and I just said I wont let it happen again. I'm now a Sophomore and my grades are just average but I start participating in more sports because my confidence isn't so low anymore. Wrestling practice is over and I've | B-
got a lot of homework but I'm too tired to do it. It's Tuesday and I decided to lay out of practice so that I can do that homework and turn it in for a late grade. So I didn't get a zero, but it's not the best grade that I could have gotten. My grades are still average, but average isn't good enough anymore. It's Junior year and I start out with a whole new attitude to go in a make good grades, I didn't wrestle this year because racing is what I want to devote my time to. I still make good grades in school, and I do more homework now but my test grades aren't great like I want them, because I chose to ride in my spare time instead of study. I am finally a Senior! I have an easy first semester but my second semester is stacked with hard classes. I have a lot of homework that I do nightly until I decide to wrestle again. Then no more homework for me. Senioritus kicks in and I'm still only average. I didn't get into a University so I'm now planning to attend a community college where i get my basic classes and go to school for law enforcement. While my friends are having fun at a university, meeting new people and getting a head start on learning to live on their own. So yes, I do regret not doing my homework, school work, not studying when I should, and procrastinating on projects. But I can't take that back so I'm living life at my best ability and starting over with no regrets.

DEAR FRESHMAN, | High school is a time of many memories. Maybe even the greatest memories of your entire life that will most definately never be forgotten. First off I'd like to say that freshman year is one of the most intimidating years of high school when you feel like everyone is out to get you and put you down. But don't let it get you down, just learn and grow from it. High school is a place where you really find yourself and how you are so have fun and try new things, but stay on task with your schoolwork at the same time, don't put anything other than family in front of it, and
don't procrastinate and wait until the last minute to do you're projects and major grades in classes. Also, meet friends that you will be able to keep for the rest of your life. There will be people that betray you and go behind your back but in high school there will always be someone that you can trust and will continue to be friends with even after high school. Lastly, start thinking about what you want to do for the rest of your life, you don't have to know for sure but have an idea and set your goals high to have a good future, grow into a better, more mature person and stay out of the bad things that happen in your teenage years. Have a GREAT 4 years because it can be the funnest part of your entire life!
HIGHSCHOOL POEM | Freshman Year New friends, full of intimidation all standing in groups talking, amongst themselves only Sophomore Year Friends become best friends Intimidation stops as the comfort sets in Junior Year Best friends become family The fun just began yet you're ready for school to end Senior Year You and your friends are being separated by two different colleges Then Senioritus hits at its hardest Reality hits you and you dont want to leave Missing the times you had the three previous years Graduation Day Full of tears Tears of joy, and tears of sadness Life just began!
THOUGHTS OF MY LIFE | My life has been full of friends and family and doing things that I love to do, like playing sports and just being out doors in general. My motto for life is to just live it up, have the best possible to you can have for the situation that you're in. My family is what means most to me in my life, and i believe that everyone should go by that way because they are the people that brought you into the world and brought you up to who you are today. I personally can talk to my family about a lot of things and I have a great relationship with my Mom, Dad, and brother. Yeah we have our ups and downs and our arguments but we get through day by day. Sports are also a main part of my life, especially throughout high school. I started racing dirt bikes when i was nine years old and I've been doing it ever since, its my passion, and it's what I plan on doing for the rest of my life. I've always been into working out and staying in shape so I started wrestling once I got into 8th grade. I started because I was told that it was one of the toughest and hardest training sports and I'm always wanting to do something to better my fitness. I ended up loving it and wrestled up until my senior year where I got second in conference. I also played tennis my senior year and I still play it weekly. I believe that everyone should participate in some kind of sport or should work out in some form because it will only better the world as a whole as the obesity level will dramatically decrease.
Money is also something that I've taken a lot of value in the past couple of years. I always would save my money from my birthdays and Christmas and stuff when I was little. But as i got older i began spending more money, especially when i got my liscense and could go out to eat when ever i wanted to. But my best friend Austin (Stud) saved money like crazy, and he started getting me to where i tried to save every penny and every dollar that I could possibly save. And now if I'm hungry, i just eat at home, or when i drive, i stay under two-thousand RPMs to save gas. I just save money in a lot of different ways now because i realize that the economy is just getting worse and I'm gonna keep as much money as i possibly can. So all and all, i have different ways of life than others but i like the way that i live life and i don't plan on changing it. I'm also a very neat person and some say that I'm OCD but it doesn't really bother me, it's who I am and I'm not changing my ways for anyone because I'm perfectly happy with how my life is and the path that it is headed in. I plan on going to school for law enforcement and having a steady family and household. Life is great, and I think that everyone should live it to the fullest and have a smile on their face at every possible second of each day.
