S: Walks with Marilyn
FC: Nothing Is So Beautiful As Moments Shared | Moments in Time
1: To my dear friend Marilyn. Thanks for so generously sharing with me your walks, your friends, your coffee spots and all those life stories. You truly are a special friend. | GOOD MEMORIES
2: It all began at the Port Credit Yacht Club in July 2010. Melanie, Gabriel and Tristan were all taking sailing lessons. Marilyn, always on the lookout for new walkers, suggested we walk together while the kids were in lessons. And so I was introduced to Lakefront Promenade, the Adamson Family Estate, Vernie, and the Tim Hortons coffee routine. And a friendship was born. | In the beginning...

6: Then I was introduced to Evita and the teahouse birthday tradition. Here we celebrate Marilyn's December birthday at the Victorian Garden Tea Room. All that is missing is a hat.
7: More birthdays, more tea. The tradition continues in March when we celebrate Evita's and Sandy's birthdays at the Robinson Bray Teahouse in Streetsville. | Tea for 3
8: The hearty walkers sometimes get to enjoy the best scenery. Our best year 'round walk was the Lakefront Promenade/ Adamson Estate loop which offered some pretty spectacular views. March 2011
13: The swans provided year 'round entertainment on the Lakefront Promenade walk. We watched them swim two by two in the icy winter waters and counted up to 24 together on the 'pond'. In the spring we eagerly anticipated seeing the babies when they hatched from whatever eggs this swan was nesting on. She sat on those eggs for weeks and then one day gave up and we never did see them hatch. A small cruelty of nature..
14: Coffee was mandatory, whether it was Fairgrounds Cafe, the Yellow Cup, Panera Bread, Coffee Culture or Tim Hortons, we always had coffee after our walk. (Sandy, Marilyn, Vernie, Nahla, Moon Hee) | Fairgrounds Cafe
19: friends | Sandy, Nahla, Evita, Vernie, Marilyn and Rufus
