To an incredible Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Nana, Aunt & Friend...

Donna Sue Dolch Born: September 21, 1951

Donna, My visits to the stables are way too frequent. If I want to spend time with my special person I must get on highway 95. The 40 years plus you have been by my side have passed way too quickly. We have done more than most and seen more than most. That's really not important, what matters after half a decade is that we are still doing those things together and enjoying the ride. Most important is the wonderful family we have created together. We have been very blessed, God has been good to us. Donna you are truly a person of great spirit, honesty and kindness. Your generosity and willingness to help might be your greatest asset. I have been with you for 45 years and would not think about a new model. Thank you for being Donna. I love you, Cliff P.S I like your horses

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY DAUGHTER I love the way you are always willing to help others I love your unique understanding and way of expressing what is going on in the world and in our family I love the way you trust your intuition I love your commitment to doing the right thing I love your compassion, sympathy and friendship you offer to everyone you know (animals included) I love the way you always have the right thing to say to smooth hurt feelings I love your ability to always be there when someone needs you I guess its pretty clear I love everything about you and I THANK GOD everyday for you Its hard to believe you are 60 years old MY BIRTHDAY WISH FOR YOU is the same as it has been each day of those 60 years All the joy and happiness you so deserve. Love, Mom

Donna, Don't worry about being 60, remember it's just a number and you will always remain "20" in my mind's eye. Your friend no matter what, Frank

Donna, You have always been a great daughter, I appreciate your patience with me over the years. I worked too much and gave you too little of my time. I am trying to do better and spend more time with you and your family. You are a very special person and I love you very much. Dad | Donna, It doesn't seem possible that you are 60 years old, where has the time gone. You were 11 years old when I came into the family. I remember how kind and caring you were to Lorrie and Matt, you always had Lorrie hooked on your hip. Bet you couldn't do that now. For the period of time you were with us, you were very easy and happy. I guess we won't count your little trip over the narrows ridge. We were very sad when you moved to Vegas but it turned out to be a good move for you. You met and married Cliff and had four amazing children. We have appreciated the times you have included us in your family activities. Donna you have always been a daughter to be proud of. You are kind, caring, generous and always find the time for the needs of your family and friends. I am very thankful to have you in my life. Love you, Judy #2 mom

Unless one has a sister particularly close in age, to explain the subtleties...Most women have "Girlfriends" to share their life's journey... the support, wisdom and unconditional Love Women share... I am Blessed with Sisters...A Sister from almost the begining who has a "knowingness" who is my support and always presents the "Unconditional" Love of Sisters. | Thank You For My Sister's Hand As a Child I ran from Her having teased her beyond her limits...She would use her fist to bang on the door, I gleefully hide behind As a teenager she would wave Goodbye to Me, as I often left As a young Mother she phoned to report the latest "Crisis" on her home front As a Woman she offered her Generous "Hand" As I move through life...I know My Sister's "Hand" is there to Support, Encourage, Praise and Pray for Me... I close my eyes and feel Her "Hand" holding Mine... I am Grateful For My Sister's "Hand" of Love... ...Never-ending Love - Debra

Hi Donna, Happy Birthday! It's not hard to find things to say to a sister who is as exceptional a person as you. The saying is you can pick your friends but not your family. If i were able to pick a sister, she would be you. Our lives have never been easy, but they have been interesting, and we have always had each other to depend on. That makes each of us very fortunate. You have been an inspiration to all around you for your honesty, morality and the unconditional love given to your family. I love you and hope your day is everything you wish for. Thank you for all you are and everything you do. I don't wish you 60 more years (haha) but many more healthy and happy ones. All my love, Pam

My Sister, My Friend Our lives were brought together by a greater plan, But is by choice we became friends. Only a sister can be the kind of friend who really knows you, and loves and accepts you through it all. Thank you for all that you are to my life ... You are an inspiration, My Sister, My Friend. I love you (By: Monica A.) Happy Birthday! Bobbie

 Sisters are Forever!

Donna, I will never fully understand all the sacrifices you have made for me but I am so thankful you were there. Love, Bryan

Dear Donna, Now that I have maturity to understand the things around, I realize the love and care that you always treated me with. I am sorry for all those times, when I disappointed you with my behavior. I love you my sister and promise to always shower you with respect, love and support. Wishing you a very happy and memorable birthday. Happy, Happy Birthday! Mahde..xoxo

Mom, The older I get the more I appreciate all that you have done for me through the years; I also gain a better understanding of how influential you have been on the person I am today. I'm not sure how you kept your sanity during our many trips to Brian Head with no DVD players. I know the endless soccer games and practices, golf tournaments, and races must have taken a toll on you. Thank you for always giving me many outlets for my competitive spirit. Thank you for instilling in me the importance of always choosing right over wrong and leading by example. Most of all, thank you for helping me understand the value of having a great family and holding it together through good times and bad. Thank you for always putting our family first and it's a spectacular family as a result. Love always, Justin

Mom, You are a rock solid figure that comforted, pushed, helped, guided and looked out for me through the years. We may not have always seen eye to eye on everything, but I have always known that you love me and strive to pass this on to my children. It is these traits that helped me through my darkest hours and also my biggest accomplishments. Your steadfast determination to make sure I succeeded in life was the buzzing in my ear that pushed me to move forward. The values you instilled in me are what drive me to be a good husband, father, son and friend. From the eyes of a child to a man, I have watched you change into a wise old granny that enjoys her grandchildren and someone that has earned the right to enjoy the luxuries that this life has to offer. I hope you are proud of the man I've become. I know I'm proud to say you are my mom. I love you for everything you are and everything you will be... Happy 60th Birthday. Love, Nathan

Happy Birthday Mom...Holy smokes 60 years old!!! I just want to thank you and let you know how much you mean to me. From my first memories of you chasing me around with the scary smile and the "NUFF, NUFF, NUFF" to these days watching you play with the grand kids. You truly show everyday what it means to be a great mother and a role model. Having my own family now really makes me appreciate everything you have done for me. I love you mom...we all love you...and thanks for everything. Love Ya, Robby

Happy Birthday Madre, You truly are the most amazing person I have ever met. I couldn't hand pick a better mother. You are such an inspiration to me and I don't think you understand how much I look up to you. You have taught me so much in the last 24 years that I will carry throughout the rest of my life. I only hope that one day I can be as good of a mother/person as you are. You are the rock of the family and the reason we are where we are today. To my best friend, thank you for everything that you have done for me, you truly are a blessing and an angel in disguise. Love, Marisa

 Mom makes everything better!

Donna, You are the most generous, modest, and devoted woman I know. Thank you for raising such an amazing man; I couldn’t ask for a better husband or father for my children. I want to thank you for opening your heart to my family and I. You came into my life during a difficult time and although its impossible to replace her, having you in my life has helped heal the wound. You are always there for me whether I need advice, support or someone to listen. We have shared many memorable moments and I look forward to sharing many more. I wish you health and happiness for the next 60 years. Happy Birthday! Love always, Melissa

Our Mother You are the mother I received the day I wed your son. I just wanted to thank you mom for all the things you've done. You've given me a gracious man with whom I share my life. You are his loving mother, and I his lucky wife. You used to pat his little head and now I hold his hand. You raised in love a little boy and gave to me a man. ~Author Unkown | Donna, I really don't think I could've said it better. You are an amazing mother and Nana. I know I'm young and have a lot to learn. Even though I may not always like to admit you are right about certain things, know this, I heed your words. I won't tell anyone how old you are, but you caught me..thanks for the fun times this summer. Love, Ed

To you, Donna on your birthday One of my earliest memories of you was when you where 19 years old and Cliff brought you over to our house in Glendale for a few days. You brought a small dog with you, Aggie. That was my earliest clue that you had a love for dogs! If I were reincarnated, I would want to come back as one of your dogs. I remember we all had a good time together. We went to some little league games and you were very easy; very nice to have around. It was also at that time that you and Clyde formed your everlasting Mutual Admiration Society and became steadfast allies. I remember the day you and Cliff were married, in a pretty church in Las Vegas and how beautiful your dress was. I also remember how nervous Cliff was! One of your best qualities is compassion. You take care of everybody all the time... and you want to. Even me. It seems like I spend my life saying, "Thanks Donna." You are a good mom. You raised your kids and you are there for them all the time. You have some really good kids and that doesn't happen without a good mother's influence on them. I have tried to think of a specific example to speak to your tremendous generosity. However, it is perpetual! Of course, the present moment is another example of it. I appreciate all you have done to care for me, to make sure I am comfortable and have the best chance to heal. Happy Birthday Donna and I'm still glad you decided to become a Findlay. Love, Enid

Inspired daily On the dusty path of life Here's to many more XO Bruce, Sam and Lily

Grandma, I give thanks to God for giving me the opportunity to share another year of moments together . They say destiny exists and now I believe it's because that's what united us. Words can't say how grateful I am to have you in my life. Thank you for always being by my side in the special moments that are important to me. If someday I am far from here, I will always have you in my mind and above all in my heart. Just how its been till this day. I love you so much and don't forget that you can always count on me. Happy Birthday! Love, Alex

Mrs. Donna, I want to tell you everything you mean to me, you know that you have been like a real mother to me. Your presence in my life means you are the angel that God sent me, when I asked him in those difficult times of my life. Thank you for coming into our lives. Thanks for helping me be a better mother to my children and thanks for being a part of the guidance that is so important to them, especially Alex. I thank God for having known such a special person. Someone who always worries about everyone without expecting anything in return and I say this because when you get sick, you don't want anyone to worry about you because you always want us to be happy. We do not share the same blood but I love you as if it were so. When you smile and are happy, I'm so happy for you but when something happens and it's sad, I am also sad. I thank you on behalf of my family, I wish you all the happiness in the world and bless you always. Sincerely, Gaby

Happy Birthday Donna! May we have many more great times together. Love, Phyllis

Happy Birthday Donna! Love, Phyllis, Leyla, Waleed, Sam and Fixer

Happy Birthday Donna, I will call you on your birthday, just like always, and I expect the same from you in October. Even if we go months without seeing each other, we always remember that! Donna and I have been friends for 40 years. It seems impossible to think how the time has flown, and I appreciate the opportunity to let her know how important she has been in my life. We met when she and Cliff were dating and Allen just strated his career in the automobile business. In fact one of our many double dates included going to the Findlay Oldsmobile Christmas party the December that Allen started to work there. I remember that night well, because it was Nicole's first birthday and I was pregnant with Danelle and still feeling pretty sick. Unfortunately, that night was one of many nights that Donna got to see me sick. We became very good friends over the next months and by the time Danelle was born Donna was visiting me daily and helping me with both babies. What a blessing that was, and how much that meant to me as Allen was working long hours and I would have been alone with two little babies. It's probably not an exaggeration to say that she saved my sanity many times and made those days a lot more fun. I can take credit for starting her out on the tea and cookie diet those mornings, a habit I think she still continues. She was invaluable to me during that time and not only was she my best friend, but also Nicole and Danelle's best friend. Danelle especially loved Donna and often when we were out shopping or walking with the girls, people would stop and ask Donna how old "her baby" was. I want to point out that Danelle paid her back for all that special attention by saving Justin's life a few years later! Thank you again, Donna for all the times you helped me out. Every young mother needs a friend like Donna, but unfortunately they are few and far between. So many of my fun memories have been with Donna and her family including skiing in Brianhead, countless trips to the beach with Pete and Mary Jo, horsebback riding on vacation in Sun Valley, too many Rebel games to count, beautiful family weddings, and more recently in Coeur D'alene when every member of both of our families got together. Even though we don't see each other as much as we should, Donna will always be my most valued friend. Love and Happy Birthday, Joanne

Happy Birthday Dearest friend! We have shared a lifetime enduring friendship, through childhood, high school, college, marriage, kids and now grand kids. There are not many people we know and stay close to for almost 50 years. Neither years or distance can ever change the dearness or sweetness of our friendship. | We are sister's in many ways, but none more important that the relationship we share now as sister's in Christ. We love you Donna and pray that God will allow us to continue to be there for each other in the years ahead... laughing, loving and caring for one another in all the ups and downs that life brings. Happy Birthday to our funny, understanding, adventurous, smart, loving, loyal, caring and generous friend! All our love on your 60th Birthday and always, Kris & Karen

Dear Donna, You are such a special friend to both me and Rod. You have always taken the time to listen and just be there in our time of need. I really enjoy our tea time the most. I hope you take time out on your special day to do something nice for yourself! I hope you and the girls have a blast in New York! I miss you and can't wait to spend time with you this fall. I wish you many Birthday Blessings. Lots of Love and Friendship, Barb

Donna, It seems like yesterday that you were dancing your way in "Brandans" at Valley High...and look at you now, celebrating your 39th birthday my friend:).. Here's wishing you a wonderful birthday! The Big Fella and I ....send our love! Greg and Tina Murphy

My Wonderful Friend There's a warmth and repect that never ends between the hearts of special friends... For through the years and the memories we share, one thing never changes: how very much we care. Love your sense of fun and the style you exude, but most of all, Girlfriend, I love your attitude! With love, Linda Stiley

Happy 60th Donna! Here's to at least three more decades of memories. Shopping in Orange, San Juan Capistrano, antique flea markets, Sand Point, Black Rock and Laguna. I hope we spend many more lunches solving the problems of the world! Lots of Love, Joanna

Dear Donna, Well happy birthday my dear friend. Now, I will not be the only 60 year old in our lunch bunch!! To this day, a Friday does not go by that I don't think of our Friday get - togethers. Lunches that have been in motion since I cannot remember, it has been so long!! Even though we all don't see each other that often anymore- with busy loves, busy kids, and time with precious grandchildren, I will always think with great fondness of our friendship and the time we have shared together. Enjoy your 60's... personally I can't tell too much difference from 59!!! Much love and congratulations, Julie

Dear Donna, Happy Birthday Dear Friend!! It seems like only a short time ago that we were soccer moms running the kids from practices to games and everything else we could sign them up for. Nathan and Geoff were only five when they started on the "Centipedes" with Coach Candy. Wow, if we only realized then that time would go by so fast we may have taken more time to enjoy the daily chaos. I knew right away that we would always be good friends as we both shared the same philosophy of life --- family comes first!! Also, we both loved having those little ones around. THAT HAS NOT CHANGED!! I will never forget the time we were told to tell the Junior League women with babies not to bring them to the meetings anymore. Without hesitation we both said at the same time "We're not doing that!" This did not sit well with either one of us!! Needless to say we both left Junior League shortly after that! I also remember the day Marisa was born. You allowed Nathan to travel with Geoff and I to a soccer tournament. I will always remember how excited he was to find out that he had a sister, finally!!! And you wonder why I love that kid?? Could we ever forget all of the entertaining lunches we shared with the "group" where our conversations would go from prom dresses to politics in a heartbeat. Sometimes they would get pretty serious but we always left each other with a hug and a smile. From soccer games to baby showers, we have certainly been blessed to have the chance to celebrate each others family's special occasions over the years. I am grateful for these memories and know that there are many more to come!! We both have at least a wedding or two in the future and of course, baby showers! Okay Findlay, last of all I wish you a wonderful Birthday and look forward to taking you to lunch when you finally get HOME!! Happy 60th and many many more!!! Love Ya, Karen B.

Over the years we have come to love Donna, Cliff, kids, grandkids and the dogs. Whether it be judging the Christmas tree decorating contest or just voicing an opinion in a family dispute one thing is clear that we pretty much always side with Donna. We have been on several trips together and cherish the time we get to spend with the Findlay Family. One of our favorite trips was many years ago after Jason and Robby graduated from Bishop Gorman High School and Robby had gone back east to play on a competitive basketball team coached by Max Good. The trip was the first time we had the opportunity to meet Max and Phyllis (great people). On this particular trip Robby was playing a basketball tournament in Canada. In typical Findlay fashion we stayed in a nice hotel, which is one of the reasons Vicky likes hanging out with Cliff and Donna. While we were there Cliff and I went to watch some of the competing teams and Donna and Vicky stayed back at the hotel to attend a high tea that the girls had been talking about. When Cliff and I got back from the game we noticed that Donna and Vicky were in a beautiful room sitting in an elevated booth over by the window, sipping tea and eating sandwiches. There were no guys in the room but after a minute Cliff said "I'm hungry lets join them" and so we did. These little crust less sandwiches were indeed some of the best we had ever eaten. I remember Cliff telling Donna "these are really good" and Donna telling him that they charge by the sandwich. We sat there for about an hour and talked, Cliff kept ordering tiers of sandwiches. When we finally got to head for the game and the bill was presented it was over $300.00, you should of seen Cliff's face. Vicky and I laughed out loud when Donna said "see I told you those were pretty expensive little sandwiches". We have had many wonderful times with the Findlays and look forward to many more. Happy 60th Donna, we love you! Steve and Vicky VanMeetren

"What a summer we have would have dreamt this a year ago?! I am SO thrilled to have a dear girlfriend with which to share this amazing passion (obsession??!) You are one amazing gal, Donna Sue, always looking out for the best interest of everyone around you: people, ponies and puppies alike. The world has been blessed with your heart, which is larger than the sun ... And I have been SO blessed with your friendship. Can't wait to see what God has in store for us :) Happy, happy birthday Cowgirl ... Here's to many more years of happy trails... Love you! Di

Donna, When someone impacts your life in a way that you consider them a friend...that makes them special. When an individual gives to strangers as much as they give to themselves and loved ones...that makes them special. When a person you have traveled the world is concerned about children in China, hunger through the world and neglected pets and animals... that makes them more than special. Donna you are that person and we are proud to call you OUR FRIEND. Happy 60th Birthday, Linda and Tony Bonnici

Happy Birthday Donna A Special Birthday wish to my very dear friend! Isn't it amazing how quickly the years pass by? You were one of my first friends upon moving to Las Vegas. We sure spent a lot of years together watching Justin and Jeff play soccer, Nathan and Scott play soccer, baseball and get in lots of trouble together. And then the ultimate, having our little girls grow up together. Also watching sweet Robbie as the tag-a-long little brother was great fun. Donna, you are a terrific person and friend. I hope you have the best birthday ever. I look forward to sharing many more birthdays, and hopefully, many more fun trips, experiences and stories. | Smiles, Heidi PS: At least you have a few more years before you start receiving all the madicare info in the mail.
